Leicester Square must have special permission to do this early. The other Lego stores around here are NOT doing this early. I went in and bought a set and got the free Batmans. I totally forgot somehow to buy the police minifigure sets... :| I don't know how I spaced on that. Guess I'll buy them when they go online! I might get more Disco Batmans later. Mine came with 1x extra golden roller skate and 1x extra purple utility belt.

My mouths were all normal. I guess I can make a rock band out of a lot of heroes that are Bat themed... Here's some relaxing: EDIT: This post is all messed up. I can't get rid of one of the quotes for some reason.

Battlefront was so rushed. Lots of amazing graphics but no soul. Shallow gameplay. It was really disappointing. I don't like EA. That said I do play their games. Battlefield One. Probably Mass Effect. They just have a way of "big business"ing all games.

This doesn't seem important to me. Who cares if he can't tell? He could be a wonderful factory manager dude and he might let others whose job it is to worry about those details worry about it. I'm not saying he IS a wonderful factory manager dude. Who knows?... but I don't really care that he can't tell. You can draw any of 1000 different conclusions based on this.

My review of Lego sanctioned child-aged gambling: For the first time I didn't "feel" for figures. I decided to gamble. What a foolish choice. I have like 45 now Lots of money wasted. Still no Joker or Catman. Lots of pointless doubles (especially pointless with this CMF series). Each time I got a NEW figure I loved it. Each time I got an OLD figure my heart sank. Pool Party Batman? AWESOME! Pool Party Batman? Oh no... Pool Party Batman? PLEASE STOP! I have 5 Rockin' Batmans... The only one I like having a lot of is the Lobster Batman. I switch his head for Iron Man, Wolverine, etc and they all have a relaxing party together. I will never gamble again. This has been a HUGE waste of money. But I'm an addict! I'm just going to do what I usually do and pay about 125-150% the price for all of the figures without the risk of doubles, triples, quadruples, octopules, whatever... Love the figures. 9/10 on them. Hate the gambling. 1/10.

I think some people just have an eye for spotting the uncanny valley. It's not to say that people who don't spot the fakeness are bad people ;p. But some of us seemed to have felt like it was Roger Rabbit. I know some people who didn't realize that Tarkin was fake in the whole thing. I feel like even if I didn't know the actor has been dead for a long time I'd still have noticed. It just felt like I was watching some giant, silly, cartoon character. Nothing about it felt real. But again, some people found it believable.

Those were the worst things in the movie and the worst things I've ever seen. They were terrible cartoons. Might as well have been Roger Rabbit. If Rogue One wins the best Special Effects for bringing back Peter Cushing and Young Carrier Fisher I'm going to be really angry. ;)

So I've been getting Batman series minifigures. For fun I open them with friends. I got two Batman with Lobsters. One of my friends was going crazy over how cute it was. And it IS probably the nicest looking little animal piece and all others look plain in comparison. So I got a few of those Batman dudes holding the crab and fish too. Sorry, I don't remember what he's called. Some forgettable Batman guy! But his crab and fish just aren't on the same level. They're probably old molds and they're PLAIN compared to this guy. I decided one thing that could help would be to give the crab EYES. This piece is plain and has no printing while the lobster has nice eye printing. BAM: He's got tiny eyes now. He's still not as good. And the eyes aren't exactly painted/penned with the same printer quality. But whatever. It was tough taking a picture and the eyes don't stand out in the photo vs the silvery color. I might shrink the white again. It started with pain but it's SO SMALL I decided to detail it with pen. My FIRST custom. XD

Hmmm not my thing. Cool though.

Star Wars is one of my favorite things. Love IV, V, VI, VII. Can live with II, III. Don't like I or Rebels or 90% of Clone Wars. Rebels was in the early planning stages when Disney bought Star Wars wasn't it? I thought it was. I'm not trolling. I just don't think it should exist.

I hate Lepin and everything it stands for but I just noticed they have an affordable USC Millennium Falcon. Hahaha.... God I'm so desperate for that set I'd almost buy it.

Like may people I spent 3.50 on a book just for that Scottish Batman. Then I did the unthinkable. I looked in the book! There's an Irish Leprechaun Bat-suit, an American Bat-suit, and just a muscular beach bod Bat-suit. While I don't really care about the beach bod (and would doubt it would be possible since we have a beachy one already) I'd love those other two! I don't know if these books are ever prophetic or if they just draw what they want. XD

The scans are terrible I was putting together the Simpsons House again and sometimes the new pieces were completely invisible and I just kind of had to guess. So many colors blended or were just wrong! Anyways, in the ideal world I'd have ALL my instructions and ALL my boxes still. They just take up so much room and moving them from country to country (USA / UK) is just too much so I had to make that sacrifice!

I'm not sure I have but I'm not sure I care. I get rid of mine and if I ever want to rebuild I use digital and pray that the scans are good enough. XD

For like $10 I bought a ridiculous amount of realistic army weapons. It came with like 6 minifigures which were of... okay quality. The faces were ugly. I honestly don't plan to do much of anything with them. It was kind of an experiment. Now I have realistic handguns and other weapons though I can give my minifigures which is pretty cool. Lego's stance against realistic weapons is understandable, I just wish it didn't exist lol. And I also find it odd how certain types of realistic weapons (like the revolver handguns and tommy guns) are acceptable but others are not.

This is really making me miss baseplates. I wonder why Lego no longer does them. I wish I still had mine from childhood. My favorite one was a Castle one and sadly it broke when I was in high school. :(

Not that widespread. I've bought a LOT of Lego in the states. Never had it happen to me with an actual boxed set. It's REALLY common for the books and anything with a VISIBLE and easily stealable minifigure. Luckily you can clearly tell when they're stolen.

Earth has Trump and Brexit. I'll stick to contributing to the 178 pages and helping it expand to 5000 pages of this kind of talk. I want a new UCS Falcon soooo bad. My number one want in Lego. I was too poor/young for the first one. I remember seeing a TON of them at Costco of all places. It's my Lego dream to have a UCS Falcon. But every single year for a while now it's been the rumored UCS set! I give really nothing to those rumors since it's been wrong every time. I'll hope and pray that Lego gives us another but until I see a picture I'm not going to get my hopes up! I don't need a giant Snowspeeder. I love minifigure scale things. The snowspeeders right are are currently a great size :). Next year (This year!) looks good. I really need that Vader Transformation. I hope it has the updated Vader! I lack the updated version with the cool mask.

where do you get the kiss kiss batman as a non-keychain?

I've got this set by my TV at all times. It's a fun little thing. I totally somehow missed that it has a little car? Did I just stop building when I got to that part? I don't remember. I probably skipped it because it's kind of not needed at all. The set is good with just the double decker couch and the cool minifigures. Cheapest set to get Benny I think! 9/10
