Personally, I would recommend the Transporter as it's a truly fantastic set with fun play features and a great combination of figures.

Yeah, the way the thrusters are attached is not done as well as I'd like. For me - my box had clearly been opened and resealed at the factory. My guess is that they replaced the windshield because of all of the issues they've had. The only problem is that they mashed the sticker sheet in the process - making them either stuck to the inside of the box or less sticky because the backs were exposed to air. So, I had to call customer support to have them send out a new one. Why the sticker sheets aren't better packaged is beyond me. This is the second Star Wars set I've purchased that had this sort of issue.

Ahhh.... okay.

There is a picture of what appears to be Luke in the latest LEGO Club magazine...

So... Who said Jamie was fired? Do you have a link to the thread/post where you read this? This article from the Wall Street Journal is two days old and further nullifies this "Jamie Berard was fired" rumor.

A Target store here in North Austin, TX, USA restocked Poe's X-Wing late last week.

I was able to order 8 or them by calling the order in severs months ago even though they weren't on the site.

My best guess is that the Classic Pirates sets just aren't selling well enough when compared to other themes like Ninjago.
-
Got mine too. The employee that helped me said it was good that I called ahead to have it put aside as they sell out quickly.

I would love to see a version of this with updated figures and the new Imperisl Shuttle.
-
This is an absolute "must have" for me. But I may wait the one month since October usually means double VIP points.

Pardon my ignorance, but isn't the stormtrooper the same as in the latest Star Destroyer and Slave I? Or do you mean how much will that price be reduced?

Regarding locations in The Force Awakens...
-
I noticed this too and it doesn't make any sense to me. Why would they make it metallic silver?
-
Yeah... the print looks like Wes Janson's helmet.
-
Aren't the helmets on those rebel pilots new too?

Excluding 75094: Imperial Shuttle Tydirium, right? Because that set is a lot more accessible than 10212: Imperial Shuttle and blows the other shuttles (7264-1: Imperial Inspection and 7166: Imperial Shuttle) out of the water! To be honest - I don't mind reissues at all and if the new Sith Infiltrator sells well, I don't see the problem. I won't be buying one, but it doesn't upset me at all.

Yeah, it sure looks like it: http://brickset.com/parts/6050914 So, the body would be new, right?
-
Very nicely done! Plans for any others?

While the printed shake is not available online I was able to order 8 of them by calling.

I created the decorations in Adobe Illustrator and exported them as PNG. You can find most (if not all) of them in my post in the "LIBRARY: Pirate Torso/Decal/Sticker Designs" thread. The tricky decoration is the shako with badge and red plume. I actually created an include file for POV-Ray to help render that appropriately since it's not an option in the LDD to POV-Ray Converter. I'll probably post a how-to on that soon if you're interested... Cheers!

It's possible if you take a little advantage of LDD. Here's the LXF for my version of the bluecoat soldier:

So, is this issue only noticed on the 70413: The Brick Bounty or was it also a problem on 70810: MetalBeard's Sea Cow? I ask because it's the same part - only in a different color. Maybe I'll check my Sea Cow one of these days...
-
Agreed. If I recall correctly - Kenner released a Mace Windu figure and a STAP and Battle Droid set well before The Phantom Menace was released (in 1998?). From my point of view these sets didn't have any impact whatsoever on spoiling the movie for me.

Thanks! I've uploaded what I have to that thread along with a render of a Bluecoat soldier.
