  1. I just noticed that pics of a blue uniformed pilot (most likely from the U-Wing Microfighter) can be found in a 25th of October post on that FB page with the usual leaks compared to ... It's not dual-molded, which I'm glad about since I have so many of the OT style helmets already and like them as a collection. In a vain effort - I tried to see if the helmet design matched that from any of the trailers or Topps trading cards. It did not. For those of you who can't find it and want to spoil yourselves it
  2. Yeah, I can't post my recent LXF file there as it's not based off of instructions and I'm sure there are far too many errors.
  3. ...and here it is between 10224 - Town Hall and 10218 - Pet Shop:
  4. ...and here it is with one extra floor on each building: ...and next to the past two modulars - 10246 - Detective's Office and 10251 - Brick Bank:
  5. Here's my "interpretation" of the set for LEGO Digital Designer: You can download the LXF file if you're interested. Obviously, there is a lot that is wrong as some parts aren't available, there were collision errors in some cases, and many image angles of the set simply weren't available. Also, I didn't include the figures. Please, let me know if you find this useful.
  6. I quite like Krennic's shuttle a more but I tend to like the Empire sets. I'm really liking the figures in it and the look of the ship is just so cool...
  7. It's hard to tell from the single photo. But my first impression isn't a great one. Maybe my opinion will change after seeing other angles and/or seeing the helmet it's based off of.
  8. Yeah, that's it. Thanks!
  9. Any ideas on the part that's used as the leaves in the sign for the flower shop?
  10. Actually, I think the white piece you tried to trace is the new tile piece in the upper left corner of this image:
  11. Yeah, I'm not sure if you've had the chance to look at the The Art of Star Wars: The Force Awakens but it looks like the story team mostly focused on scenes and story concepts rather than ships. In fact, I don't recall any notable ship designs in that book other than the Quad Jumper, Resistance Troop Transporter, First Order Transport, and Han's freighter. ...and of course, there were Tie Fighters and such but those are really rehashed more than original designs. The only two unused designs I can even find are from here: http://www.comingsoon.net/extras/features/643413-10-scrapped-ideas-from-star-wars-the-force-awakens?fullpage=1#/slide/1 It states that "Rick Carter and his art department were definitely brainstorming new hero ships including J-wings, K-wings and a Tri-winged tie fighter" but that J.J. wanted "throwbacks to the OT ties and X-wings" instead. So, maybe we'll see some of these other ship designs in Episode VIII...
  12. What's up with the Designer video? It cuts out for me before he is even finished speaking. Never mind. I found the full video at
  13. There's so much going on... it's amazing. This is a day one buy for sure!!!

  15. I'm not sure if anyone has mentioned this before... But the Scarif Stormtroopers (Imperial Shoretroopers) ranks have been revealed. You can see them - along with some other possible spoilers from makingstarwars.net's Highlights from the Hasbro Panel at NYCC! article. So, it looks like the one included in 75154 - TIE Striker is most likely a Scarif Stormtrooper Captain...

  18. I'm not going to pretend that the date mismatches we have aren't annoying, but I highly doubt it is arrogance for many of us in the United States. It's just the way we're used to seeing dates written every single day of our lives... Getting back to the real subject at hand: I'm looking forward to the possibility of a larger modular. At first I was put off by 10224: Town Hall when it was announced. But the images grew on me and I really enjoyed building it once I purchased it. In fact, it's one of my favorite modulars today. I'm just hoping the prices for any subsequent sets don't get much higher than they already are - if TLG continues with the modular line after this set.

  20. My local LEGO Store (in Austin, Texas, USA) states that they usually receive shipments on Fridays and sometimes Wednesdays. This past week they received no shipments of the castle whatsoever. To add to the mess - they told another customer while I was there that TLG recalled all of the stock from that store to help fulfill the back-orders online. All-in-all, it's been a bit frustrating trying to get our hands on a set. Things worked out as a relative was able to pick one up this past week in La Jolla, California and ship it to us. But it would have been so much easier for us to just go to our local store and pick one up.
  21. Yeah, that's quite shocking. Now I need to decide if I'm going to update/upgrade Battle of Endor version or just leave it alone...
