  1. This is an absolutely beautiful model. Are there plans to add a rear door and more detail in the back?
  2. This is great! Agreed on the "heaviness" of the windows. I'd be interested in seeing an updated version - perhaps by taking inspiration from windows in the upcoming 10243-1: Parisian Restaurant (http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=87343).
  3. Wow! I am a fan of the hardware store. The outside looks amazing and the truck looks good too.
  4. But are the offers going to be the same? I can't imagine that they wouldn't have something exclusive in the stores. And on the plus side: you get your purchases right away if you go to the store.
  5. I'm thinking of jumping into the modulars and the Parisian Restaurant was going to be at the top of my list. But it sounds like I should jump on the Fire Brigade ASAP. If TLG offers triple points this month, I'm going to have to snap it up.
  6. That makes me a bit sad to read. I love the pirate ships and would love seeing another big/detailed ship like this one come along in the future. ...especially if it was for the Imperial Soldiers in blue. I bought this set a little over a year ago for $300 USD after coming out of my own "dark age". It's still in the box but I will absolutely be building this beauty with my younger daughter when she's a bit older. On the other hand: I may be selling my copies of The Black Pearl and Queen Anne's Revenge, which I was lucky enough to get discounted just before they were no longer offered.
  7. The wife and I put this together this past weekend. I found placing the 1x1 translucent round pieces on the middle tower of the carousel to be a bit monotonous and I had the same issue with the axle being a bit too long in the turning mechanism that was previously mentioned. Otherwise, it's a very well designed set and a lot of fun to build. One thing I thought I'd point out is that turning the carousel is a lot smoother than I thought it looked in the video. It's really quite smooth and the rocking of the horses is not jerky as I had expected.
  8. One thing I noticed about the 75032-1: X-Wing Fighter (http://brickset.com/detail/?set=75032-1) is that it looks like it has the new 2x2 flat round tile with stud found in the 10243-1: Parisian Restaurant (http://brickset.com/detail/?set=10243-1) as well as the following piece which has only been included in games as far as I can tell: http://brickset.com/search/?part=4547649
  9. Can you post the details of the re-done tree?
  10. I bought this set yesterday and have only built the speeder bike, catapult, and the standalone tree. Up to this point - that also means putting together the two scout troopers and two Ewoks (including Wicket). So far it's a really fun set. If I recall correctly - there are 15 or so bags numbered up to 11, two unmarked bags, one loose plate, three instruction booklets, and a small sticker sheet with 3 stickers. One note that I thought was really cool: one of the stickers is a heart with four Aurebesh letters (http://starwars.wiki...m/wiki/Aurebesh). If you look up the letters, it spells out the following:
  11. Wow! This looks amazing! I love the back of the ship with the windows tiled up the back.
  12. Just picked this set up at the Barnes & Noble on Parker Road in Round Rock, TX, USA for 30% off. There was one other still there in case anyone is interested.
