    Hmmm, I dunno, I think that could be realised almost with the existing fur collar piece and one of the spiky / wavy ninjago or hidden side hair pieces recoloured.     I mean, it’s my schtick. That said, there do seem to be ‘less’ figures and a lack of animals in both the 2020 HP and City advent calendars. It’s been a long time since city advent didn’t come with a dog! And seriously - Harry is having Christmas without Hedwig?

    Big props @ Lego for 4 female characters to two male, *and* half of them not being white. Think the dresses look fantastic. Slightly sad that there’re no animals other than the chocolate frog, though.

    Can definitely see any new HP dog moulds being reused in city sets, coming with CMFs, or popping up as recolours in PAB. Still assuming the bulldog and Aunt Marge have to be a thing somehow, some way. Would also very much like a Jack Russell and a wolfhound for my pack.

    Agreed. With the ‘virtual’ squirrels and badgers, the ‘patronus’ stag, otter and hare, and the only-in-white-so-far rabbit - it seems we have a bunch of potential for everyday forest / woodland critters that *need* to happen. It’s also odd that the eagle has so far only shown up in one set. I mean for sheer value for money on moulds ...

    Rules are sometimes frustrating, but also generally not made by the people answering phones. I really don’t get the apparent indignation here. It is what it is. We are lucky to be fans of a brand with excellent customer service. Maybe give those guys a break.

    Nice. It will be interesting to see what this brings. I wouldn’t put it past them to have little polybags ‘free’ with the NG kids magazine for example. We also have lots of existing moulds that could be well used again (otter, stag, hare, rabbit, mouse, rat, eagle, owl etc). have to take issue with the idea that all the sets are based on ‘real life’ situations though. Where in real life are there populations of wild white tigers? Where’s this place where elephants, sloths and sea turtles hang out together? ?

    Yeah I have to admit that I have pretty exacting standards on this, and would agree with @Roebuck’s take on which few work. So I have been really glad to see so many new animal moulds in recent years - for example I just got the new CMF turtle today and it’s just *so* much better than the friends ones imho.
