  1. Nice. Makes me want Lego pigeons even more!
  2. Am I right in thinking the ‘normal’ fish has now been produced in nine colours? Pearl grey; flat silver; Sand green; orange; black; light blue; azure; and spring green?
  3. Seems reasonable, the animal moulds probably are complicated to print ... but that rather makes me wonder why so many are turning up in BAM towers. No *normal* fish? The hammerhead, great white, stingray and anglerfish would like to have a word with you about what is ‘normal’ ...
  4. Haha saw that cat and knew @roebuck would be livid! I didn’t think that mould would get a revisit either! Lots of crabs getting a look in in 2020 sets it seems
  5. I just love your style with these. Well done!
  6. I love the meta level inclusion of oceanic trash in the underwater base. Great that both the hammerhead and ray come in small sets. I, like @roebuck , wonder if there’s an exclusive yet to come, as the Great White in just one set seems off ...
  7. This way the hare can be reused for Rhosgobel Rabbits! As we know, relative proportions are a tad ‘off’ when it comes to mini figures, animals &accessories. yep, small animals could come in CMF or BAM, or maybe even thrown into City sets like the bulldog and owl have been
  8. But that’s us thinking as AFOL collectors, there’s no specific end point or must-do list for CMFs. Just because something appeared in series 6 or 9, doesn’t mean the average Lego buyer today has them or has access to them. Lego have to try and keep each series ‘light’ with general appeal for kids. It may well be that the reason for more costume and city type figures in recent series is specifically to offset the number of ‘more niche’ licensed figures or themes for example.
  9. Unlikely that Lego will miss out on the opportunity to include a helicopter! ?
  10. A *freaking* men. (and usually those freaking at this stuff are men...)
  11. Urgh. Do not like. Had hoped for a new colour at least. There are some odd inconsistencies with the moulds we are getting leaked. Stingray and great white look *so* accurate, the hammerhead has the old ‘evil eyebrow’ printing, and the anglerfish and now this HS shark seem different again. i wonder if there’s more going on with the Nat Geo thing being separate to the standard city line? Would explain the difference between hammerhead and GWS realness.
  12. An otter patronus is coming in the same set as the hare
  13. Right, so ... that means from what we have and are expecting, the following exist as ‘not natural coloured animal moulds’: stag, hare, otter and rabbit. Seems odd to me that these won’t show up *somehow* in natural colours, and given the animals that they are, perhaps something like a wildlife ranger city sub theme could use all of them... i live in hope.
  14. did not expect a new mould for that patronus! I can’t remember if it’s supposed to be a rabbit or a hare
  15. White chicken also appears to be coming to BAM towers along with dachshund - chickens haven’t showed up there before have they? also, can anyone work out if the new stingray we have seen good pics of and the one in the poly bag are the same colour? Poly bag looks darker to me ... and would not be unusual for Lego to introduce more than one colour way
  16. Damn, that wee dachshund is just precious Agreed, though there has imho been quite a shift in this lately with Lego, I’m sure they’re aware of possible pitfalls of any human vs animals themes, and are possibly avoiding zoo theme specifically because of negative PR possibilities. When I first saw the recent dolphin, penguin and heard about the potential orca I was half worried we were getting ‘Seaworld’ sets, which would have given me a terrible moral conundrum ?
  17. Plus the anglerfish and recoloured shark in Hidden side ( we presume )
  18. Wow - new printed shark, and looks like stingray comes in a poly too. getting an amazing suite of new and updated ocean critters this year!
  19. Even more reason for it not to be a manta then, they’re not dangerous ;)
  20. The old one was very stylised, but given its shape and tail, not sure it could ever really be called a manta ray ...
  21. Love the stingray. It’s another good year for animal moulds already. And agree that the octopus desperately needs an update now!
  22. Oops, my bad. Apologies.
  23. I dunno about all the guesses for remaining CMF characters ... they seem a bit ‘light’ on other students to me. I’d fully expect a few more of those in the same way we got Cho, Cedric and Lee last time
  24. Oh, is it a boy-y ray?
