Dolly Parton?! Take. My. Money!

Agreed. At the very least fingers crossed that the bunny gets a recolour. I did expect the tractor set to be an excuse for animals, much like the safari truck was.

Lego City 2021 Rumours, information and discussion
williejm replied to Powered by Bricks's topic in LEGO Town
Looks like a new dog mould, in the townhouse and the big city set. It may be wishful thinking but I’d call a Labrador and it having a harness as an assistance dog in the larger set. -
So some fuzzy catalogue pics have been leaked: large city set seems to have a dog mould that might be new that might also be wearing a harness, and is being walked by someone in dark glasses. New assistance dog and new Labrador mould? ? paws crossed! Looks like another dog in the townhouse set too. Possibly same mould.

I think I changed my mind. Having seen how they did Big Bird, I now more think that Road Runner will be more like the flamingo accessory. Big Bird is basically a big rubbery head piece over a Minifigure, but RR has very different proportions,

Yep, somehow you manage to capture her ‘Missy’ character in Dr Who *and* her character in Sabrina with this.

Ooh, and Michelle Gomez joins the cast ;)

Lego City is the only City in the world with no pigeons! they should have introduced a pigeon in the first modular, and made it a thing that each modular and City building came with a pigeon.

So, having received the ‘new’ chihuahua (Hidden Side printing) today, I have to ask why they even bothered with alternate printing. It is so small and infinitesimally different from the original. Maybe if the dog had been a different colour ... but it seems like a waste of time. That said, my Lego City dog collection is once again complete!

*finally* Liz Hurley gets immortalised appropriately ?
-
Indeed. I think a new bird mould was too much to hope for! I have the same feeling. Would be daft not to cash in on the moulds...

Must admit, I’m kinda tempted. The more I think about it - a ‘Gods & Monsters’ seems like a fun themed series

Lego Licensed Parts available from Bricks & Pieces
williejm replied to LegoPercyJ's topic in LEGO Licensed
I think it’s more likely that they have to replace damaged or misprinted ones, since they are a big part of the set appeal, rather than them just being missing! -
I dunno how I feel about Tweety & RR being ‘accessories’. ... on one hand I can see them working: Tweety like Baby Groot, and RR like the flamingo. On the other, relative size differences didn’t stop Stitch, Chip & Dale, and others being produced as minifigures. I can see a novel minifig working for RR, perhaps the satyr legs, a tail and modified headpiece, with a torso using the existing wing moulds. I wonder to what extent existing parts like the Disney duck tail, and the satyr legs will be used in this series.

I think there are a couple of options for expanding Diagon Alley. Gringotts will have to come at some point, and I think it would work well enough on its own, or it could be in a second DA set. Though there’s a chance that a second DA set *plus* a separate Gringotts is possible. Heck, they might even give us a Knocturn Alley set. I think a Gringotts & Leaky Cauldron & Eeylops Owl Emporium & Borgin + Burke’s would be a popular set (and I think they are the most likely missing buildings to appear) but can just as easily see that without Gringotts and some other additions instead.

Same lol - I might edit my post with four extras

I see Playmobil has a whole line of Greek God figures ... still think it could be a fun series for Lego to do. Possibly including revisits of some of the mythological beasts like Medusa, Cyclops & Minotaur

It’s just 31 zombified versions of earlier figures,right @Robert8 ??

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 21. Rumors and discussion
williejm replied to Robert8's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I’m surprised that they haven’t introduced a more standard ‘dog’ mould with folded ears to be a Labrador / Dalmatian. But yeah there’s no apparent logic to this - i just hope that they start cramming animals into CMF and City the way they seem to be doing with Friends. I mean, they got sloths, alpacas, elephants, seahorses, squirrels, foxes and all sorts already ? -
Amazon U.K. & Smyths have some sizeable discounts too

12 is hard, but I also think if they are reducing the number, then they need to up the quality. So I’d imagine a similar amount of new moulds, and (hopefully) some more generosity with accessories. 1. Centaur 2. Terracotta warrior 3. Mountie with beaver 4. Female Inuit with seal 5. Steve Irwin/ zookeeper type character with an Aussie animal 6. Victorian naturalist with a dodo 7. Viking king with wolfhound 8. Park ranger with rabbit & squirrel 9. Roman standard bearer 10. Sorceress with raven 11. Suffragette 12. Statue with pigeon — 13. Farmer/shepherd with sheep 14. Merman ‘deep sea’ warrior 15. Showgirl 16. Rocketeer

Ooh,maybe the hare from the HP room of requirement set will get a recolour here. I know it’s a longshot ...
-
Yeah, to me that implies either a second set or GWP, or CMF - like the alternates we had for the Simpsons in the Simpsons House set
