  1. @Jeroen: Thanks! The diameter of these tubes are good, but these strings are not decoration, they hold the weight of the crane. Is is possible to make the tubes longer and fix them onto the crane without loosing the safety, which we got from the strings?
  2. Thanks for your comments! Glad you like it!
  3. Thanks everyone! @Tigertass: The ship is small, because two big project is too expensive. Big crane with small ship is better, then small crane with big ship! I want to make an LDD file, I don't know when, but I will tell here, if it's ready! @JGW3000: Well, the fans have already bought every magazine, sorry... @TinkerBricks: I think that liftarms would be too thick there.
  4. Hi everyone! This is my newest big technic creation, a remote controlled ship to shore crane! The crane is 66 cm high and 107 cm long, it has 8 whels, 4 motors and it contains 34 13L liftarms and 42 15L liftarms. It has four functions. It can go near the water, catch and release the container, rise and lower it and take it between the shore and the ship. I made a video about the crane. The temperature was +1°C, the batteries were weak, so the mechanism of the compressor couldn’t work well, the crane couldn’t catch the container. We had to found out something instead of the original screenplay, and this is the result, a real HD disaster movie in Holywood style! :) (The video is faster, than the real speed.) If you don’t belive, that the crane can catch the container, or you are simply curious about the real speed of the functions, look at this video, too: If you are interested in the boring technical detailes about the crane and its functions, follow this link: http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/380083 Thanks for watching! :)
  5. Very cool and detailed alternative model!
  6. On the MALUG meeting on 20th October 2013 we organised an Allround Car Competition with slalom, parking and simple race. It was my race car! The maximal lenght of the car was 32 studs, the maximal width was 17 studs. We had to use an L motor for driving and we had to put an old differential and two gears between the motor and the wheels to make the changing of the speed easier. And the wheels' diameter had to be 43.2 mm. My car is 32x15 and has an extra function! It' possible to change the angle of the steering. I could use a hard steering during the slalom, and a soft steerig during the race. There were 6 competitors, and I were the fourth at the end, because it takes too long for me to park the car. I made a video, which shows the functions and you can see the car in action, too! Well, the car hasn't got enough power to do that jump, it's only a trick, I covered my hand, when I edited the video! :) Behind this link you can find more photos and an LDD file, too: http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/378558 Thanks for watching! :)
  7. Many thanks for your kind comments!
  8. Wow! It's an amazing buggy and it works very well! The pictures are great, but I think the video is too quick. I can't see well the buggy in action in it.
  9. Thanks everyone! @Jasper: Yeah, TLC wouldn't deal with it, but it would be interesting!
  10. Thanks! :) @Jasper: The basic of the modular building system is one house. What is the basic of the mudular airport?
  11. My 41999 arrived to Hungary! License plate: EK 02041! Congrats to all winners!
  12. Thanks! :)
  13. Thank you! :)
  14. Thank you very much! I'm happy that you like it!
  15. Hello everyone! My newest MOC is a minifig scaleg airport control tower! I enjoyed buildig it, hope you like it, too! The tower has 3 floors and detailed interior. On the first floor there is a kitchen with a fridge, a coffee maker, a sink, food and a frying pan in it.On the second floor we can find a fire extinguisher, a washbasin and a clean toilet with toilet paper. And on the top of the tower there is the control room! There are 7 chairs and tables in this room for the employees, 6 tables for the operators with tehephones, computers, radios, radar screens and red and yellow mugs, and 1 for the boss with a computer and drawers. There are two binoculars and a fire-extinguisher here, too. This octagon is not exact. First time it moved easily, so I used gray L elements on two side (up and down), and dark grey tiles on the other two sides (left and right) to make it stable. The angles are a little bit more or less, than 45 degrees. This floor is kept by 8 blue technic pins in position. There are the roof's parts and its construction on next pictures. It was difficult, bacause the distance of the octagon's sides is longer than X studs, but shorter, than X+1 studs. Bars can slide in the holes of the small white round plates, and that dark gray L elements helps, too. This pictures show the ladders between the floors. This pictures show, how it is possible to remove the control room. You have to remove firs the window of the toilet, then push the room. Please support the bus on Cuusoo, which transports the tourists to the airport: http://lego.cuusoo.c...deas/view/32505 Thanks for watching!
  16. Thank you very much! @Numbeel: It took one month (near school). I had the power functions from earlier sets, except the actuator.
  17. Thanks everyone! @Leewan: I think the wheels are ok. You are right, the rotation is jerky, behind the link you can find the reasons: http://www.flickr.co...ath/9343538632/, and the Aston Martin would be heavy for the crane, and expensive for me! @kieran: Sorry, no XL, L drives it. M drives only the steering and long-short mechanism.
  18. Hello everyone! This is my newest lego creation, the tow truck from Johnny English. The truck is completely remote controlled. It has six functions, but only four motors. Two L motors and one M motor drive the functions, and one M motor drives the gearbox. At first you can control the steering, the driving and the outriggers, after using the gearbox the crane’s rotation, the height and the length. The truck is 47 cm long and 15 cm wide and very heavy and crammed with gears, motors, gears, axles, beams and gears... I made a funny video, which shows how the truck works (with real speed), but has a story, too! :D You can find more pictures and a description about the crane on my mocpage: http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/365406 Thanks for watching!
  19. Another two alternative model, hope you like it! Combine and telehandler
  20. Great creation! It's absolutely recognisable! And the film is fantastic, too!
