Thanks everyone! I have, but haven't uploaded it anywhere yet. Maybe I will later on :) There is nothing to see inside, it is just empty. Yeah, it seems like I can't change the title of the thread afterwards? I can't find anywhere to change it.

Thanks for your comments! I agree that some of you think it does not look abandoned... And I think even in reality it wasn't abandoned. Actually I changed the MOC-title to "Caravan in snow" now

When I was taking a walk one afternoon I saw this caravan on the side of the road, and got then inspired to build it in LEGO.

Thanks!

A boys (probably) room from the 80s. I got inspiration to this model after watching some 80s movies that contained scenes similiar to this one (such as E.T., Goonies etc) and saw how cosy and detailed these rooms were, filled with toys, but still well-decorated and organazied for the movie. Perhaps you recognize some of the toys?

This model was the third place winner in Swebricks LEGO competition "The city we built". Here is (the badly translated) description I had for my model: "Businesses had been bad for Ragge Runarson in the increasingly desolate little town. Because of the current recession, sales had fallen drastically and all of his employees had to quit. It was with mixed feelings that he was standing at the window of the office building and looking out over his lifework. He remembers how he so happily rode to work every morning on his red bicycle. And he remembers the now broken cement mixer which he would use to finish cementing the walkway to the white cottage. Soon, however, there would come a person who was interested in buying the building, so then Ragge could start all over again!"

Really great idea! And a very nice design of the particle accelerator!

I haven't either played Grim Fandango, but this one looks really nice! The design is great and I love the parts that you have used! Have you thought of putting it up on LEGO Ideas?

Nice! I think the best Game Boy MOC I have seen. Looks very realistic

I saw a video clip from an old 80s TV show, where there was a scene similiar to this one. I thought that scene represented a kitchen from the 70/80s very well, and I got very inspired to build it in LEGO! I thought it was interesting to build in a larger scale, because some LEGO parts can then resemble new things (such as the lamp and the blinds) that they normally would not in minifig scale.

Alternate Models Challenge - 60003 Fire Emergency
LegoJalex replied to I Scream Clone's topic in LEGO Town
@I Scream Clone @plastic_ati Really nice models! Mine was also set 60003. A great set to build alternative models of, since it had not too many, and not too few pieces. The lack of 1x1 bricks and the limited color palette made it more difficult. Garbage truck Fire boat Office and fire truck Research station -
Great design!

Yep 4.3.8 and I turned off shading and outlining of bricks as well, but it still crashes when I set materials=999 on the lever. 132 made it completly white without any shading. But still if this would work, will the lever-part not show up in the instructions eventhough it is invisible?

Strange... The same thing happens for me when I set material to 999, LDD crashes.

Thanks! That is also a way to seperate them. What I really want to do is to get rid of that "lever" part, and keep only the base, because in the instructions the hidden part will still be shown, right?

Yeah it seems like that is the only way. Not a nice solution, but at least it is seperated

Thanks. It works to seperate them (setting a high x,y,z value for the lever), but I could not delete the "lever"-part. And if I remove the lever part from the .lxfml-file it complains when I open it in LDD, and the whole lever+lever base has been removed. This is how the lever looks like in the .lxfml file. <Brick refID="140" designID="73587" itemNos="4220740"> <Part refID="140" designID="4592" materials="151"> <Bone refID="140" transformation="1,0,0,0,1,0,0,0,1,-2.7999999523162842,0,-2.7999999523162842"> </Bone> </Part> <Part refID="141" designID="4593" materials="26"> <Bone refID="141" transformation="1,0,0,0,1,0,0,0,1,-2.7999999523162842,0.41999617218971252,-2.7999999523162842"> </Bone> </Part> </Brick>
