With this MOC I wanted to create the feeling of a working class area in Sweden during the 70s/80s. The car is a Volvo 242 DL from 1975. Hope you like it!

I want a 1x3 plate to sit on the underside of a 4x4 round plate, but turned 45 degrees. See photo below. When I try it in reality it works, but now when I'm about to make the instructions in LDD I can't get it to work. Is it possible to do? If not, are there any other tricks that can achieve this? (just saw that the headline was cut after I posted this. "turned 45 degrees" it is supposed to read.)

This is a LEGO Ideas project I have made of Rockie - a guitarist that can keep the beat to the music. See more at the project site. I would appreciate if you gave it a look and your support! Rockie's head and neck can move (the same kind of mechanism I used in my Star Wars Bobbleheads) and if you have some music on and tap on his head it looks like he is keeping the beat to the music. See a video that demonstrates this . Rockie is a teenager who dreams of becoming a great music star one day. "Practice makes perfect!" is his motto. So far his only fan is his mouse friend Mac who always sits and listens to his guitar play. He specifically enjoys playing rock music, but also other kinds of music like jazz and blues.

Thanks for your comments guys! Thanks! I know there is similarity to Brickheadz, so maybe they won't be interested in making it if it would reach the goal, but it is still another idea with the wobbling head. O the other hand I hope that now with the new guidelines that if it wasn't in their interest at all they would not have accepted the project.

This is a project I've been working on from time to time during the summer. A bobblehead is a toy figure with an oversized head that is connected to the body with a spring. When you lightly tap on its head it wobbles (or bobbles) back and forth for a while. I was thinking about how a bobblehead could be made by LEGO bricks, and how the wobbling effect could be built. There is no real LEGO spring that can be used for this purpose, so I had to think of something else to use. After some trial and error I found a simple technic using an LEGO antenna piece which creates a wobbling effect that works really well. The video below shows how it works in reality. I created an Ideas project of it as well, so please have a look and I would appreciate if you gave it your support. I decided to recreate six characters from the original Star Wars movie into LEGO bobbleheads - Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, Han Solo, Boba Fett, Darth Vader and a Stormtrooper. The head can also be turned in all directions like in the image below. Hope you enjoy it!

Donald only gets bills in his mailbox, and his neighbor Jones is standing in the background smiling scornfully. I tried to make the visual style similiar to the style I have seen in the Donald Duck comics I read during the 80s. The car is up as an LEGO Ideas-project, so I would appreciate if you had a look at that as well and gave it your support.

Thanks! Thanks! Well there is no real "Donald Duck theme" or "Duckberg theme" so this would be the start of it in that case. And I think since there is a minifig as Donald at least I would love to see a set of his car, eventhough it is small (but there are many much smaller LEGO sets for sale so why not? :) ) On the other the design is not as simple as it might look like. Hmm... how do you mean why I would not just share the instructions? It is not just about that I want others to build it, I want to see it as a real LEGO product as well (I guess that is the point of Ideas?). Whenever I have the time to make instructions I will share them though. Great!

This is my version of Donald Duck's car in LEGO. It was a challenge to build eventhough it is so small, but of course a fun challenge! I would appreciate if you also had a look at the LEGO Ideas-project here. Some history Donald Duck´s car made its first appearence in the movie "Don Donald" from 1937, and in 1938 it was introduced in the newspaper comics by Al Taliaferro. The design is originally based on an "American Bantam 1938"-car, but has changed slightly over the years and varies from different cartoonists. Its name "The 313" comes from the license plate that has number 313, which also is the day when Donald Duck was born (13th of March). The design is mainly inspired by the original fictiv car "Belchfire Runabout", which you can see in the last photo.
