  1. Nice job - do I need to approve? Now you're doing micro ships, what will be next? And where is the piggy bank gone?
  2. 45) Clumsy Guy Entry - 1 point 22) Queen Entry (Build by brickie)- 1 point 60) Frightening Knight Entry (Build by Graham Gidman) - 1 point
  3. Excellent beach layout - very well done!
  4. Thank you! Agreed - this is kind of weird Next one will be better!
  5. Yepp, this brave effort doubles the number of ships of the ETWC And this time, it is really a trading ship. Let us all sing along: Day-O - Day-O... I fear that there is no good picture that is showing the actual freight (the bananas). You can (probably) see the box and the treasure chest on deck, filled with bananas. There are more in the hold (which you cannot see). "Flapping in the wind"? Isn't that a song by Elton John?
  6. Yepp. Day-o! (... and of course I have had this song in my head since I've posted this) Thanks - yes, it is an old-fashioned-custom-sail
  7. Daylight come and I wanna go home! Today I present to you: Captain Tallyman and his "Banana Boat". Well, the Banana Boat may not be the most beautiful ship that has ever sailed the fourteen seas and her figurehead (a banana ) is often mocked at in harbour inns - but Captain Tallyman simply laughs along. He knows that his yellow freight will be paid for with golden coins - and any observer will quickly notice that Tallyman is able to buy himself a quite impressive lantern! But he keeps a low profile and enjoys his life as the fastest banana trader of Eslandola. Guided by his able and cunning first mate Mr. Monkey, the "Banana Boat" is known in most ports. C&C welcome!
  8. Very impressive layout! You guys are not showing off by any chance? So vast, so many details = congratulations! And who of you included the Tardis?
  9. Very fine scenes - I like the "military discussion" the most!
  10. [ESL-FB1] Please don't take it apart | Captain Braunsfeld | Eslandola
  11. though this be madness yet there's method in't...
  12. Yepp Could have been a set in the 90s (but with that Indiana Jones baseplate it would move into this century) - maybe it is made of too many bricks... Nostalgic - yes! Yepp, I could. But did I tell you that there is a secret trap door in the middle of the yellow island? Green sand? I'd stick with yellow! This has been played with many times, I can assure you I'd be more careful regarding dark tan/dark yellow then....
  13. Great idea to build a semaphore - is it sending smoke-signals at the same time?
  14. Very fine cathedral!
  15. This looks promising - and you also have a monkey included When this is all fine and ready I would like to see a larger picture of the floor. The carpet really seems to be impressive.
  16. It is, it is! That will depend on your point of view. Did you see that CD in the background? Yes, it was beautiful. But now you use dark tan for the wet sand and tan for the dry sand (and you sell off all your yellow bricks... goodbye yellow brick sand) Thank you - let's see what your next sand will look like. Who knows?
  17. "Please don't take it apart, it is so well playable", was what my wife said when I announced that I would like to significantly modify this fortress: So I added a few Eslandolean touches to a build that I'm showing here for the first time (but it has been played with a number of times). Then an Admiral appeared, inspecting his soldiers... ... and some guy met up with another strange guy... And you can see on the sides that this was actually meant to be part of a larger layout. My problem is that I don't do those raised baseplates anymore ... and sand is now "tan" for me not "yellow". But as I have said, I cannot take it apart... As this is a modular build I can actually take it apart! And there you have it: An Eslandolean Fortress on Nelissa! C&C Welcome! More and larger pics can be found on flickr.
  18. I would like to see what I have licensed and which freebuild has been registered.
  19. Thank you ... I might not be allowed the credit for the grammophone. I think I took it from the monster fighters... Thank you - this is actually the biggest of my steampunk ships. There are one or two more waiting in line...
  20. Fine, fine! Excellent micro ship!
