  1. The Golden Age of Chicken Aviation - Episode 1: (pls. note message in bottle...) Enjoy - C&C welcome!
  2. Very clever build - very clever battery. Brings a welcome touch of realism!
  3. Hm, I don't remember the name of the set, but I had it and I still have the island base plate (it was deemed unusable until I just saw how you made it work ). I think there was an octopus in that set too ... What is missing in your MOC is the next storm coming up on the horizon that will wash away everything on that island....
  4. ... and proud you may be! Excellent work. Four months of work - I should think so. But the result must be more than satisfying!
  5. The water is excellent! I mean, I don't want to do it in real life (and I don't want to buy so many tiles and plates just for that) but the result is astounding! Why don't you try a similar, but vertical approach for your rocks?
  6. Just fantastic! Interesting idea followed by perfect execution.
  7. Huge and perfect! I don't want to know how many days and nights you must have spent with the rigging alone... Marvellous!
  8. A pleasure! (Full black tricorns? For the lower ranks, right?) Thanks
  9. Just one pic? But it is pretty fine. Excellent composition and textures.
  10. Lovely, just lovely. A MOC to refer to if one wants to depict nature.
  11. Charming farm!
  12. Your custom sails are pretty good and I like the overall shape of the ship. I would just expect 1-2 more gunports just before the bow.
  13. Thanks! I've cleaned up the torso so it isn't that zombie-ish any more. Looks great! Not sure whether the Sea Rats are partying at THEIR fort... The headgear: There is a small 3d-printing company in the Netherlands called "Shapeways". A guy called "Woody" does all these historic hats. (But you need to paint them) The Sea Rats are always unexpected Build for of these? Well, I have already disassembled the MOC... You're right, they are not in the same MOC, and for the frontpage you need to have one picture ideally... As to shakos and helmets see above: "Shapeways" is my source of these fine thingies. (This is not meant to be an advertisement, though)
  14. Are you planning to enlarge to have a full orchestra?
  15. Hi, when I did the "Fortify the Fortifications of the Fort" entry for Challenge II, I was struck by the thought that other uniforms than the Eslandolean green ones would look much better in that MOC. So, not linked to the challenge and not as a free-build, I have played around with the different teams we have in BoBS: As you can see, white and blue makes a fine contrast. ... red, white and black is working out fine too! Sea rats are colourful! Oh, sorry, this has turned into some sort of desaster... But I am sure that Captain Cookie and his gang are having fun! (The pirate on the ground is sleeping, if you were worried.) And here's how it started: Hey, this is the first MOC to feature all factions of BoBS - I apply for being frontpaged! ( larger pictures and a few more on flickr) C&C Welcome - Happy Easter!
  16. Don't worry about the floor (to tile or not to tile) as long as your interior is fine. And it is. I like the candle stick!
  17. Great scene. Makes me think that I need to do a shipyard too.... The use of those silver flat tiles is very clever!
  18. Me too, but it seems to be costly... Fine build, I like the drunk pirate.
  19. That is a very fine build.
  20. Excellent build, I am impressed!
