Color swap looks great!

Awesome! We are very much aligned on the joys of making this great Speed Champions line even better. I invite you to check out some of my 8-stud SC cars here: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=122188&hl= I love the attention to detail in your work and admire the effort to minimize sticker usage where possible. Your photography is great too.

Man, I don't know how I've missed this thread. My two favorite hobbies collide! I'm lucky enough to already have my dream car. 1966 Mustang Fastback. It's an original V8 car with a 5.0 and T-5 manual transmission out of a 1991 Mustang. It took me years to build it, and as of March, I've owned it 20 years. Here's my daily driver. It's a 2005 Mustang with an Edelbrock supercharger. 442 horsepower to the rear wheels. And here they are snuggled together in the garage.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and all that, but I think the Camaro in particular benefits from the widening. The stock 6w is kind of ridiculous looking in my opinion.
-
Nice work as usual, Erol. I like how you handled the rear of the Vette.
-
Thanks! I don't have pics, but I can say that the Vette was easier than most to widen. I believe it was simply some additional 1x4 slopes and some tiles. Good luck on yours and post pics when you're done.

I find value in both kinds of armies. i personally lean toward smaller and more thoughtful, but the giant, less detailed formations are fun too.

Beautiful bike!

Cool build. Makes me want to take on a proper bad guy castle MOC. With two smaller castles, the Falcons were doing pretty well compared to the kingdoms Dragons.

Cool concept, and really pleasing to look at.

That's pretty nice. Might have to pick that up.

I'd like to see a Street Scenes theme that could be car/motorcycle-centric. • New gas station • Diner or Sonic-style drive in • Mechanic shop with lift and tow truck and/or Hot Rod/Tuner/Speed shop • Off road truck shop • Police car pulling over a speeder • Car dealership with 3 of the same car in different colors • Cafe/coffee shop with a bunch of motorcycles Many of these could include ways to modify the cars with different wheels, paint graphics, induction or exhaust like the Speed Champions hot rod. Can you guys think of anything else that might fit?

Nice! Looks like we're cut from the same cloth. http://www.eurobrick...howtopic=122188 It looks good with the windshield moved back one stud.

These are great. I'd buy any/all of these if TLG made them real. I particularly love the Goldfinger rides.

Man, if that were rendered in Lego bricks it'd go down in history as a legendary castle.

I don't see the balls on the end of the spikes. I'm thinking that crown piece could be new. -

You get used to it. It's really just a matter for feeling out the unique and distinguishable parts. For instance, Banana will be easy, penguin will be the head + short legs, rogue will be bow/arrow, queen will be the dress piece, Imp is the wings, etc. -

It sure looks one-piece to me too. I'm cool with it. -
I'm tempted to do something similar. I have all of the classic Forestmen sets, just need to decide how to handle river crossing baseplate. I suppose I could just brick build the river, or maybe build on top of the baseplate itself. Hmmmm, now my gears are turning.

ROGUE! Oh man, this fig is something special. My apologies in advance to North Texas, but I'm buying all of them. -
Latest CMF series impact on Historic themes

Oh my gosh, that rogue is amazing! Such an incredible example of what we could/should be getting in the castle theme. I will buy as many of these as I can find. This will be my most army built CMF for sure. Gondor Rangers, elf scouts, modern wolf pack! The snow queen looks good too, but that rogue... <3 -
Nice work on this for sure. I feel like I should know this, but where did you source the wheels/tires from?
