Dia de los muertos is awesome! I got lucky and scored some more rogues. Maybe a couple more and I can be done. Maybe. -

I don't get the hate on the rogue. I think it's fantastic and my favorite of the wave. -

LOL at the crazy mouth head for the Penguin. Here he is with the back printing and face detail visible too... -

I thought so, but don't hold me to that. I could totally be wrong on that one. -

I think just TRU and Target so far. It may just be regional, but for me, Walmart has the most inconsistent timing and stocking of any of the other retailers. With that in mind, I wonder if this series will hit Walgreens. Edit: and it's definitely time for a Whitefang review. -
Nice collection of classic stuff on that shelf.

I was fortunate enough to pick up the rogue from series 16 this morning, and wow, this thing is beautiful. Great detail in the printing, dual-color molded legs and left arm, and there's even great back printing under that quiver. -

I was able to talk my local TRU into selling me 4 (they wouldn't let me buy more) after fishing them out of the back. They said there's a street date of September 1st, so they wouldn't be putting them out until then. They walked the box back into the stock room after I bought mine. I don't know why they insist on making this so difficult. One nice bonus I wasn't expecting is the excellent printing on the rogue's back, underneath his quiver. It's a magnificent fig. There's a nicely designed half-moon belt buckle too. TRU was able to locate them in the back based on the lego number: 71013 -

Back to my local TRU today. They don't know jack except that there's a fresh box of Disney at the customer service desk. They have a 3 fig limit too. So dumb. -
Cool! Really nice job on this. So many slopes and angles and they all flow really well.

I checked my local TRU and a nearby Target and both had nearly full Disney boxes. This weird timing is gonna be a bear. -

I can't wait for the Whitefang review. eBay photos stink and WF reviews are always so detailed. -
That is beautiful.

[MOC] Sea Serpent's Wake (and my introduction!)
SirBlake replied to Saberscorpsr's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Looks like you've made quite a splash! (See what I did there?) Awesome MOC for sure. Not only is the sea serpent scale and design fantastic, but I really like the details in the custom fig parts combinations and furniture. Welcome! -
Would WARCRAFT fit the TLG guidelines?
SirBlake replied to Itaria No Shintaku's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
There's a new Arthurian movie coming out next year. Knights of the Round Table: King Arthur. Directed by Guy Ritchie with some decent actors assigned to it. It's supposed to be somewhat kid friendly, and be the first in a 6 part series of films. I think they're going for a PotC type of vibe. Maybe that could go somewhere? -

That would suck. Not much there for me in any of those licensed themes. -

It's a shame this one lay dormant as long as it did. Yes to robust interiors. There's fun to be had when the weapons are put away. Yes to a cornucopia of factions with imagination. This seems like fertile ground for AFOL and kid alike. -

No, I meant details like a fig list for 17.
