  1. Even out the frown and it's good enough for OT.
  2. I have with Star Wars action figures, but not Lego. I think the major difference is that I can afford to wait on Lego as they don't sell out for too long.
  3. I'm confused. Do you mean MOC as "my own creation" or "mint on card"? If it's my own creation, then I would want to always keep my combined Bag End scene that I made. It's designed off of two copies of Unexpected Gathering and a ton of other material that I had on hand. It's my first MOC and expands on the Bag End model to include a larger Hobbit hole and front yard and side garden section. If you mean mint on card or more accurately mint in box, it would be my copies of the DeLorean and the Ecto-1. The DeLorean has been climbing in value and maybe once the Ecto-1 gets some years on it, it might also climb. Otherwise I don't have any other sets of note sealed.
  4. I think this is the first toy I've seen modified with Lego. Pretty cool!
  5. I've noticed that print quality can change based on how early you bought the set, as the quality fades alittle with later production runs. I have multiples of a number of sets and have noticed that the ones j bought when they first hit stores have better printing than ones I bought later.
  6. Yes! Lego is my primary hobby, so knowing what I should spend money on would help. In ten years, there's bound to be revisits on sets and characters and being able to pick and choose would go a long way.
  7. I have both and yes the torso is identical.
  8. Those droids are indeed awesome! Very nicely done!
  9. See, I've been doing it wrong - I should take Lego to the gym with me... :P
  10. It seems like way too much work for little reward for Disney to go after fans like that.
  11. I'm thinking the new era of Star Wars Lego will include these higher prices. It's a perfect time to make this move given how everyone is all Star Wars crazy with the new movies. Might as well set the bar higher now.
  12. I'm fine with the current blaster assortment. It does well to depict a standard look across troop types, while other gun molds can be added as needed for less uniform teams. If anything, I think the lightsaber could use an update...
  13. Whichever one will look the funniest if you drink too much and try to build it. I would say CTT.
  14. ^^^ This. I need to add more Stormies to my collection, but not at current secondary market prices.
  15. After the sw585, I would say the Stormtrooper in the 2012 battlepack is second. And that one should be cheaper and more plentiful as it did appear in other sets. Not sure about third, because I have one other Stormtrooper version, but I don't remember which set they started from - this was back in 2010. As for the Rebels Stormtrooper, it basically comes down to whether you like the design and/or show or not. I don't care for the design and won't be picking one up, but for people who like the design, it's a great deal for the price.
  16. The Stormie from the UCS Slave 1, would be my guess.
  17. I would wonder if Duplo is held back because of Hasbro's Galactic Heroes line for the same reason Lego can't release single minifigures - contracts.
  18. I'd be surprised at Strax. It's kinda like Gollum appearing at the end of the Dimensions trailer - it's not like there's gonna be new LOTR stuff, it was just to use the ring to set-up Sonic.
  19. It's one of those sets that's totally worth it even at full price. Once you have it in hand and built, it's huge and looks perfect. Don't need to buy another Imperial Shuttle ever again.
  20. Or what if it's a Mr. Gold style Batman and you can't feel for it because it has the same accessories as another Batman in the CMF series...? *ducks and covers*
  21. I wonder if the multiple batsuits in the CMF series will include different accessories allowing people to still use the "feel" method.
  22. Bright green. Lol, if it were dark green, I would have bought probably three times as many.
  23. Another great entry! I'll be watching this thread for the combined result.
  24. I've been keeping an eye on Luminara and Quinlan out of curiosity. I don't buy single minifigures on the secondary, but I am also noticing the trend of increased prices on minifigures this year. With Luminara and Quinlan each hitting $50 in a $110 set, it reminds me of Boba Fett hitting $50 these days in a $200 set. But the difference is Boba Fett is a much bigger named character and a bit more deservant of that price point ratio.
