  1. It's not way too soon. Disney and Lego could have been working out the deal for some time now and only recently decided to pull Infinity. More than likely Disney had the Infinity pull planned late last year, as companies plan this stuff way in advance. Disney has been exceptional about keeping secrets lately, so I believe there could be Star Wars products being manufactured as we speak.
  2. Is this the part where someone else chimes in "MOAR BALROG"? Cuz... we need more Balrog.
  3. Just adding updated minifigures would have been a slap in the face for people who already own the set. As it was, early copies had the solid eye printing and later they added pupils, which was enough to create variation. I'm hoping for something so brand new as to warrant a purchase. If it's just a re-skin of the same model, I don't think I can justify it.
  4. Jedi Coleman Trebor would like to speak to you. I think the previous AT-TE was much better as far as minifigures go. Plus, the set had some great dark red accents that I always appreciate.
  5. I would think the new line is Star Wars. I've read that it may be due to Rogue One coming out shortly later and the abrupt stoppage of Infinity might be due to getting this out in time.
  6. Brilliant! Reminds me a lot of the robot chicken mounts in WoW.
  7. I don't know if it's already been mentioned, but I think that's the first time the Elven spear has been used outside of LOTR/Hobbit.
  8. I almost want to test this on a pair of disposable legs.
  9. Lupus from Harry Potter could work for Howard the Duck. It's a nice brown suit and tie combo.
  10. Wow, $30! That's an amazing price for 330 bricks and four minifigures. I wonder if Sony had anything to do with the pricing, as part of the deal to use Spidey or something. Probably a long shot, but I could see where they would want to get him in the hands of as many MCU fans as possible so that Spidey is that much more well received when his movie drops.
  11. Wow, four minifigures and a droid for an estimated $90. Seems a bit rough, especially since Ahsoka is the main/only draw. Meanwhile in the Marvel section, the fourth Civil War set dropped with four minifigures at $40 and they're all awesome, including the much anticipated Spidey.
  12. Wow, Lego needs to do this every year. If you've never gotten into MCU before, this Civil War wave is the place to be. Granted these are all repeat characters, the costumes look fantastic and varied enough to warrant a purchase. At 330 pieces and 4 minifigures, this set is solid - I don't see how anyone can complain when you compare it to other sets in this weight-class. Here's hoping for a $30 price tag, but I'm more than in if it's $40.
  13. I've not paid much attention to MAoS, so I don't consider Coulson to be alive. I don't know what the MCU canon is on the subject. Generally characters that are dead should stay dead, particularly when the character's death is what prompted the Avengers into action.
  14. Agent 13 is probably the only minifigure that doesn't really work for me. The hair is too far off, as mentioned previously. I almost think a straighter hair style, like on Ginny Weasley could work.
  15. What the what?!?! Are you kidding me? That is incredible. The SNOT on the pool table computer is awesome. And the warp drive looks great, with the removable crystal. This is a very talented build - nicely done! How stable is the overall build? And when do we get to see the bridge...?
  16. Ha! That Ric Olie is awesome. He's kind of an inside joke because I remember back when TPM action figures hit, you could always find a Ric Olie everywhere.
  17. Bossk - the new Han's Hoth coat...
  18. I've found the figures themselves to be pretty good in their own right. I own several but I don't even have the game, as I've bought them more as collectibles. With these probably going on clearance this summer, I'm hoping to grab a few more and maybe even some for customs or repaints I have in mind.
  19. Well, the plus sides to this regarding Dimensions are being covered in the Dimensions thread as indicated, but outside of that I would say that Disney dropping Infinity does mean that most figures should hit clearance this summer. I've found them to be pretty cool collectibles in their own right and own several even though I don't play/have the game. If the prices get really low, I might even consider buying some for customs or repaint ideas I have.
  20. Well, the poster has only been a member for six months and does not have a reputation for being "in the know", so I'm not sure how useful their "good source" may be.
  21. I'm also surprised by Disney's move. Either they're planning a new model of gaming or they want to compete directly in the Dimensions arena with everyone else. My better is for the latter, given that they're already on such great terms with Lego.
  22. Ahsoka and the 4th Marvel set have both been confirmed, but nothing has been seen. This comes from the usual, reliable sources.
  23. General questions on "investments" are bad form here. The Eurobricks community generally does not contribute to the topic of investing, scalping, etc.
  24. Both droids, Dr. Aphra, and that Wookie bounty hunter would be welcome.
