Just totally awesome! I love the alleyways and covered aspects, the towers, the clocktower and the activity depicted that gives it a sense of realism. Excellent!

Good take on an industrial building. But a word of advice -- fire the Union members and outlaw Unions!! Better for all :)

Truly gorgeous work! And first attempt? Wow! PS, I love Excel - it can do so many things - but this the first time I have seen it used for Lego MOCs!

[MOC WIP] Buffalo Central Terminal train station
andyscouse replied to cmwcampbell's topic in LEGO Train Tech
Wow - a very, very impressive build! So much attention to detail, inside & t. Can't wait to see it completed! -
I liked the TH as it was, but for me, it just cried out to be a bit more ... imposing. So, I took two sets and combined them, removed the lift, added stairs and then made a 3-storey high window on the side. So it's wider (by 12), deeper (by 6) and has an extra storey, with space either side for grounds. That really made it for me, and I bring it to many NELUG exhibits.

[LDD MOC] My own Hill Valley Clock Tower Building
andyscouse replied to Prince Manic's topic in LEGO Town
Yes, 48-wide would make it even better ... and for the 2nd row of windows, I'd use a white plate for the white above, then 2 of the brick colour above - that way, the height of the white above those windows would be more in proportion to the actual building. -

I hope you'll post more of these builds ... -
I like this! I have 2 of the Apple Tree house (one set built, one in box) thatI'm (one day) going to join to do something like this. But now maybe I'll get two of these as well and see where we end up!

I love this take on what would normally be an overlooked building!

What a great idea for the centerpiece of a town! I love the wide-open feel it has, as well as the fountain, statue and news-stand.

Love it! Hmmm ... I feel a re-crafting of my standard 1256 and associated store coming on ...
