  1. Yeah, the details are interesting. A Heartlake Gas Station with a sandwich vender might work better.
  2. I think those action figure brands were clearly not made to be the "LEGO brick system members". During that time, it felt like LEGO wanted to be a bigger toy company with different toys, not just selling bricks. But these didn't work. Thanx! Glad to know the article I haven't read. Sadly LEGO don't continue to make theses parts.
  3. Not agree with that, of course I mean the train. We don't know what's the specific reason but I believe it was not an obvious choice of rejection in previous predictions. There are some other popular train projects that could hit the number in the future, so I wonder if train is the only reason for rejection as you mean. I think this may boost the other BTTF train project. Also, if it's rejected for its size, those mansions in next reviews would have no hopes. I think the scale of product could have been a codified rule or hint. The other theory is that BTTF isn't as popular as LEGO thought so they won't make other BTTF cars too....? Both GB project featured the vehicle and the main team, so there are some similiarities despite the office was totally neglected. Now yeah, the two projects both feature box though the included characters can be different, I don't think LEGO would make two versions of the box.The mansions are just different and were made by the same person, so I absolutely believe that he doesn't want his own ideas become a competition. It's almost like early "each review cycle only decide one project" saying. I only think the license is the major concern in this case.
  4. Uhmmmmm I still can't tell the hairpieces from the salon....... Un fortunately I have no good opinion about the animal-only sets. The only new things are rabbit cubs (which could possibly become regular in minifigure themes), the others have no new animal type or at least new fur color. The buildings are pretty familiar.
  5. I'd like to see either two or none in this case, not one. For zero, the whole Doctor Who fever was purposely initiated by team Ideas so I think a zero can be a good warning to both FOLs and Ideas (sorry DW fans). Two is also a good number since GB was a literal "competition" instead of considering making two projects at once, which also displeased me.
  6. Good I got zero point .
  7. Based on the fact that team Ideas now proves they're able to allow multiple products per season, I think it's pretty imploite to say the other project sucks. At least we should know that the designs aren't final model so perhaps we'll like the products more than the designs. As for the rejection part, first of all the train proves that the available license doesn't guarantee that all projects would pass. But it is still a shame, I think the train works as long as it's both attractive in license and design. The Apple Store is same as the previous mini shop series---- I don't hate the licenses but the individual store building isn't good enough. Personally I wasn't too into Birds because after all we've seen buildable birds in Creator line, though the project provide different thoughts.
  8. It's trival, but what I'm curious about is do TLG really run out of ideas of box colors? Or they intend to rehash the colors to tell that the minifigures are also rehashing? About the new leaks (which could be preliminary prototypes): Alien Trooper Space isn't really my cup of tea, but this new alien should be a good one. Lady Cyclops Looks less feminine than I thought, perhaps it'll turn out good. Sheriff As we predicted, very closed to Mr. Not-A-Robot with color variation. Okay. Disco Diva Uhh.... abit too obvious as a rehashing fig.I did think the Clown hairpiece can be for women but I think she could be sexier or fashion-forward. Paleontologyst A very good counterpart to the Explorer and addition to the set 21110. King A very good change from the modern Castle design, I'll get this. Egyptian Warrior As good as all standard historical minifigures.
  9. Sorry, that's abit too late. As said, even though TLG could come up with some gender change like Lady Cyclops, the historical characters are closer to real history so we're not really allowed to see gender swap in these cases. Instead we can only find out other titles specifically for women, like Geisha. Samurai and Egyptian Warrior are unlikely in the gender guessing list. Oh by the way, all changes of character names from the original website are cancelled?
  10. Great reuse of Fortune Teller headpiece, and most figures have the CMF quality. Wish to see another wave coming with more original set ideas.
  11. Considering the possible mistranslation, I assume it's still a Japanese character but slightly different from the original Samurai, like the case of Musketeer/Swashbuckler. Perhaps "Shogun"?And we also have a current Japanese-oriented theme Ninjago, so I think it could be abit conflicting to get some similiar characters like a female ninja. Well recent CMFs have rehashed many known characters from regular themes. IMO If TLG want to go into realistic culture, not the technological Ninjago, I hope we can see some different ancient titles that Ninjago wouldn't use.
  12. I like the new beach house. Though the buildings aren't that innovative (similiar with 5766), the color palette is refreshing. Looks like LEGO would continue the 2-floor building series. The first building is familiar, the other two looks awesome and are definitely great additions to a modern city.
  13. Well, excluding Simpsons, TLM is so far the series with six ladies and then series has five. I hope that that it goes back to six. As others predicted, the rest two could be Fencer and Paleontologist. I hope that one of the two Space characters is a lady this time. Seriously that set was not famed for minifigures since it only introduced one original print. Even if we'll get a guy, he wouldn't be a counterpart to the female figs, actually. It should be a good news for us to get the original version of paleontologist.Oh and, no more Nurse ponytail this time. In theory, he is the one, and TLG would likely do so since he needs no new part. Though that's less surprising. Reminds me of Prince Varen. That crown is priceless, literally. The Princess was pretty original, so this time maybe both the King and Evil Wizard could be more different. Despite I hate rehashing, I'm curious about how the Queen turns out in the future. Sheriff Not-A-Robot is the most Recent sheriff we got. I think it's a nice chance to get the mustache recolored. Thanx!..... and now I'm glad that the minifigure is cuter than the real one. Still no blonde ponytail girl (sigh).
  14. Not to mention the previous prediction list, we can see that there are many existed regular figs in this pic so some of them aren't in this topic. (Ewa, obviously, no.)About the two in this leak: Unicorn girl: The very first mascot character based on mythical creatures. She's goodlooking but not sure if it's a popular design. I personally haven't seen this suit in my real life :p. Snake Charmer An Arabian addition is okay, but to me its individual visual impact isn't bigger than the genies. Cobra is the real star, obviously. About other possible additions: Galaxy Trooper / Alien Trooper Two new Space additions but neither names sound interesting. Hope that one of them is a girl. Evil Wizard / King So LEGO deifinitely give up making regular Castle sets and instead let this theme occupy the CMF line. I do welcome royalty----- but not the medieval theme again. What about something more cultural? Egyptian Warrior It's cultural, but not sure if its design is memorable. Goblin Depends. Lady Cyclops I'd like to see the original one get a mate, but soemtimes it could be relunctant (ex. Lady Robot). Sheriff We've seen some sherrif designs in The LEGO Movie, so hope that another one wouldn't be too familiar. Samurai HUH? Carpenter Uhmm..... anything you wanna say, Mr. Lumberjack? Disco Diva Sounds okay. City female personalities have been working well in CMF lines. Fencer Good. Paleontologyst Depends, just not be too similiar with the Explorer.
  15. To be more accurate, I assume it's that Disney make at least one film featuring heroines or targetting at female audience every year. Well, I'd like to see some other ordinary heroine stories (like Wendy or Alice) not doing with royalties, though royalty stories seem to have become Disney's important property. Also, the "Disney franchise" have been very sensitive so we can't confirm that all future Disney "princess" would also get lots of spotlights. And back to LEGO, even if we're only discussing the possibility of making Elsa an "official princess", I'm not sure it's nice to see the newest addition getting a LEGO set before classic. ones, unless Frozen was made to be an independent theme/single wave.
  16. Agree, I'm not really into a list written in Brickipiedia even if the context is appealing (and unfortunately it's not to me). Thanks for your great reply, I'm just too busy recently so not yet getting to this game and even series 12. So it looks like some of them are identical, but in game we may see one moving and one standing without doing things, which is the most basic way. Back to the previous topic, some series 12 characters had made NPC apppearances before the game launch, but not sure if some characters who are currently NPCs only would become playable and physical in 2015. In Universe's case, most original characters were directly designed by game developers instead of TLG, so perhaps it's the major reason why Universe characters didn't have time to become a CMF series. But what about this time?
  17. I think that's too strict. Remember that someone isn't even a princess so there is no need to judge that. Some other Disney princess's are also queen-to-be. (Rapunzel, Kiara and maybe Melody). Back to the point, I don't tend to assume the inclusion of Frozen set is owing to that it's possibly going to be part of the strict "Disney Princess franchise", because this answer doesn't sound helpful. I believe this story deserves to have it's own regular wave earlier.
  18. Well also technically Frozen is currently not part of the official Disney "Princess" line. It's just that the stories are what we're ensured to get in future waves (perhaps adding Sofia if TLG is fine with her.), and it's even better if some other Disney stories that also interest the target market appear in this theme.Of course, the currently used stories still have room for more sets. Hope that the next wave won't keep us wait too long.
  19. Even though gender does play a role in playing and commercial marketing, we don't assume that a certain gender would only collect the figures of their own gender. We should remember that the buildings are also the star of each LEGO products.
  20. I'd say it's nice to see more CMFs from different ranges and unused existed themes (Dino Tracker, for example). I think the matter is that City figures rarely pop out like historical figures do so we just need the best of the best not a lot of them. And after all making a whole single series target at a specific theme is not a good marketing method unless it's a special series . I know Toy Story has ended (until another sequel announced), but I'm not sure if TLG can come up with a more generic and appealing version of green army that doesn't resemble TS version.
  21. Here. Generally even if it's the draft, not all ideas fit in official products. I'm not really expecting a vampire lady since there is already Mrs Vampyre along with the Swamp Creature. And I'm not sure TLG can come up with a more original design for a CMF vampire lady. As for a Baseball Player, I have mixed feelings about the discontinued NBA regular theme so I'd probably not be happy to see that.
  22. Judging from the point that none of them are in my wishlist , and the ratio of modern City people is too high, which is unsimiliar with previous series, I hope it's not true because it's a disaster to me. Army and military don't really appear in the LEGO world. Bartender would be too similiar with Waiter (unless that is a female Waitress version). A teacher and riders have been in Friends theme. As long as a regular school set is still posible for Creator/City themes, teachers or kids are not ideal CMF choices. Thief could be a more accurate design than the common City criminals though it's not urgently needed.
  23. Answer: My reason against that saying is that I think the minidolls and minifigures are still based on the same scale of System sets. We may still discuss the similiar buildings and parts in the same place despite the figures are not exactly the same.Oh and, I wonder if Mr Just2good have larger pics. I'd like to see what the tatoos and prints look like.
  24. It's pretty nice to see the inclusion of minifigure hairpieces. Grandma and Wyldstyle's new colors are nice, but it's abit dissapointing that Kai's piece is not a new color after adjustment. The sets are mostly like the prototype leaks, so no more addons. Emma's house is too similiar with Olivia's to me, though the french casement looks interesting. As for the light house, the star building of this wave, to be honest, it's nice but I expect it to be unsimiliar with the previous Creator lighthouse. I miss the Paradisa version more. I like the store design of hair salon, but its color palette seems very familiar. I'm still not sure about the "animal care subtheme". The cat from the illegal clinic seems to be a new mold.
  25. Not sure what the question is. If you're complaining TLG is not giving more Disney sets each wave, I agree. But since this is the amount they would provide, we can't see all princess or heroines ar once, that's for sure. The left heroines among the official Disney Princess franchise are Tiana, Pocatonhas and Mulan. The three share a common point that they're all not typical European-style or fairytale princess's, but this means making these three in the same wave could be a bad combination. My concern is that the three stories are postponed or neglected for commercial reasons. It could be even worse if TLG choose to make other non-royal but popular heroines like Alice or Tinkerbell first. Mulan is also the one least doing with "princess" (of course, she's not ), and her story is all about fights and wars. Not sure how TLG deal with this. Better not to just throw us a set like "Mulan's Chinese Backyard Garden" . I'm sure Snow White would come if this theme continues. But judging from the progress of TLG, I doubt they'd make dwarves and their houses. Maybe just a small set called "Snow White's Forest Hide-and-seek" in the next wave. If it's about the very first licensed theme for girls, maybe. Hope that the next wave would not be postponed to 2016.
