    Woww, bad @$$ car! r really like the shape andover all aspect, i don't like the grey of the motor and maybe i would have covered the battery box with black panels, and maybe the front grill has too much black, maybe a bit of red.. but just my personal taste, you did an amazing job! Well done!l

    Bad @$$ looking loader with these black rims and those tyres! Really like the tyres, they do the job :D and prefere black instead of yellow for rims! Well done!

    Job well done! Like it with longer bed and the v8. you must renforce the chassis cause as you said it flex in the middle a lot. Unimog wheels are so good! I would like to do a full black version....

    I wait prices go down a bit, then gonna buy the 42030, 42029 and maybe little dozer for parts. Lately bought the opera house, 42009 and 8480 so for now i'm done :D

    My god, amazing model with lot of functions! Usually these trucks have the 3rd axel steered, have you thought about doing it instead of the fixed and with diff that you made? And another think, am i wrong or it seems slow at drive?

    Model is amazing for shape and new wheels but think i'm gonna put my money on 42030, more parts. If this was full suspended and steered would considered it but not in just this static version, even if i love black...

    Hi Jim, thanks for your pics even if I was thinkin at just a single side pictures from each set with low boom, anyway what maybe many don't like is the big hole just under the cabin and yes should be filled in or covered with something. For example i like the efferman replica http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=91975&hl=%2B42030+%2Breplica in the front because it looks massive. One difference is that he placed the motor just under the cabin so that space is filled, maybe a good final set should be a mix between the original mid rear and efferman's mid front with mini LAs steering as well Thanks again Jim. p.s. still waiting for book pages number

    Compliments for your collection, i got some vintage sets too but no so many as you.. Have you gkt a look at ebay.de? I usually find many good deals there on technic sets. I see you are looking for all the arctic sets, but copter, i got them all and like them so much! Good luck for the remaining sets.

    Amazing review. Having the 8265 at 1st didn't think to buy this set, but now...i think i'm gonna buy it but in a while, hoping price goes down or waiting a good deal on amazon.it as did with 42009. Really glad it is 4wd, and like all the pf parts! Althought i have 1 big book from 42009 i'm really glad even this set has 1 book too :D

    Hi, a couple of days ago received my 42009 from amazon.it, that's italy, and got the same big book. Noticed that the box has the same languages as yours so maybe this is the common point to have a single book. I say again that the book stays open even in 1st instruction page that's number 8. Overall pages are 428!

    Just bought mine from amazon.it for 158euro but the most interesting thing is tha:D :Dt i have 1 big single building book!!!! Don't remember in which tread there was the discussion about 1 big single book.. The strange thing is that i had the feeling i get this single book and it's arrived :D
