  1. I love graders and hope one day TLG will make a flagship of this subject. This model is amazing! HAT OFF man for all the job and presentation with the schemes!! Big compliments again!
  2. Maybe I'm the only one..but don't think this model is so special...OK blue parts, maybe ok the rims with this little white..the design of the old us muscle cars but don't personally like this design into the 9398 frame...prefered it in a car frame so lower. And more, what about the color combination?? Down we have red/grey while up we have black/blue/white/grey?? Come on.... Don't think gonna buy it(already have the 9398), when we'll have the pdf instructions maybe gonna make the body in black and red. With the money gonna buy the 42009 for sure!
  3. As far as bricklink shops concern, italian ones have really high prices...better ones I found are in Germany ;)
  4. Well done mate! I don't see from the video or pics, but seems you haven't put differentials on rear axels (i think due to lack of space) have you? and why haven't you made double wheels on the rear axels? But again you did a really good job!
  5. I bought it used 1 year agoo in Germany and paid 70euro. I liked it, dont really tell you if it's worthy 200$.. some say it's better the 8459. have a look at this I found in UK http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Lego-Technic-8265-Front-Loader-/140962277484?pt=UK_Construction_Toys_Kits&hash=item20d201a86c and he's selling even the 8459 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Lego-Technic-8459-Pneumatic-Front-End-Loader-/161014136118?pt=UK_Construction_Toys_Kits&hash=item257d30bd36
  6. Ciao, I'm from Italy too (friuli Venezia Giulia). As said by ithers, it's better if you save some money and buy a second hand 8043 on ebay than a 42006 and motorize it. I suggest www.ebay.de (germany) where you can make really good deals on technic sets! I bought 1 year ago an 8043 on amazon.it (really good prices for new sets in italy and plus has free postage!!) and paid 121euro then a couple of months later bought on ebay.de another 8043 (used but complete with box and everything, and the man send me even the battery box with the batteries inside!) for 112euro then you have to add about 15euro for postage from germany to italy. Be patience and look at various auctions on ebay.de and you'll find the right 8043 at the right price for sure ;) Ciao
  7. amazing ship mate!! We don't see so often ships here :) Can we consider it a new 8839? Almost.....ahahah have it in my collection and like it so much. Ciao
  8. Happy New Year to everyone here!!! Full of health for you and families and full of TECHNIC creations and ideas!!!
  9. Already got 2 of them, 1 new from Amazon.it at 121 euro back in March and another one, 2nd hand this time, in mid summer on ebay.de for about 111 euro. I think 2nd hand sets are on good prices, specially on ebay.de (germany), you find a good deals over there on all technic sets, if you have patience :) Obviously if you don't live in the EU i think that P&P are a bit "heavy".. Anyway the set is a MUST HAVE so no matter which way or where, but BUY IT
  10. When you grow up and start working, Xmas could be any day of the year :) so lately I bought 9396, 9397, 9398, lego 10213 and a couple of bricklink orders! All the best for next year!!!!! Ciao
  11. Should be nice to have some old flagships re-released but although we have ebay and bricklink I think, sooner or later, we can find them at reasonable price so as far as I'm concerned this is not a must ;)
  12. At amazon.it it's price is rised till 189euro right now, I bought it back in Feb '12 and was 121euro! I even bought a 2nd one complete but "used" looks new on ebay.de for 112euro. I don't think it's gonna be discounted...it's a milestone.. if you can buy a 2nd hand one... ebay.de has a lot of them but don't know where you from and what should be postage to your country.. cheers
  13. I think that for "us" european builders should take longer to get it and we should even pay more for shipping and then the f.*à# customs :iamded_lol: :iamded_lol: :iamded_lol:
  14. I've never seen a truck like this, in Italy we don't have them. Where are they used? You did an amazing job! Big compliments!!
  15. Hi all, I just found this interesting design... Seems so strange compared to the "classic" ones we use to see all over the world nowadays.. http://www.en-derin.com/technology/redesigned-backhoe-loader-concept-for-the-year-of-2020#
  16. Can't wait to have my copies (printed and ebook) and think I'm gonna buy from http://nostarch.com/technicbuilder I'm sure you did a good job as always Sariel!! Ciao
  17. I built it in half a day taking it easy. Have you seen "the ultimate 8043" topic? Now that I think I have enough pieces I'll try to do it
  18. I just "discovered" you planes world and as I'm keen on them, I'm simply without words. HAT OFF man! Last year saw for the 1st time the B-52 flying at Nellis AFB Las Vegas and a dream came true and this model is PERFECT. BIG BIG COMPLIMENTS for all your models, especially planes, you left me without words *huh* *huh* Ciao flavio
  19. Looks so good even in this US coast livery
  20. what about using the old lego train 9V power supply with just long extended cables or you walk side by side tot he 8043?? I use it to power all my PF models so forgot about batteries inside battery box and bought a couple of rechargable just for remote controls. Think is lego 4548. Ciao Flavio
  21. I think there is no sens for the seller to mix tracks before sell the set too :hmpf_bad: Don't know.
