  1. Yep this was the article. But wanted to know if was normal to have in 8275 the 2 versions of the old tracks mixed. And what wanted to point out was that the 2nd version old is different than the 2nd version new due to more tolerance that make it work as the 1st version old. This wasn't written in the article.
  2. Hi there, I finally got my 2nd hand 8275 and after seeing the discussion about the old and new 57518 tracks(that I don't remember in which other technic site was ) I checked my set. I found 70 1st version old tracks and 14 2nd version old tracks while expeting to have all 84 in the 1st version. Is anyone out there that has same differences(despite the number) so has ALL old style tracks but with 1st and 2nd version mixed? To explain better, the 2nd version old is the same of the 8043set BUT has more tolerance so tracks can move more, have more "play" and to explain it I post this image. From left to right are 1st version old, 2nd version old(both from 8275) and 2nd version NEW(from 8043). Has you can see, the 8043 new tracks looks like the 2nd version old BUT have very few tolerance between joints so they can't move almost at all. Thanks and sorry if a post like this was already somewhere, haven't found it. Ciao Flavio
  3. Thanks. I like both and can't decide which color do
  4. Hello, is any chance you can create a full red and a full yellow version? I really like even the all black version you bild. Thanks Ciao Flavio
  5. Just received the 2nd 8043 mainly for the B-model but now I'm gonna bild even this dozer!!!!! Thanks!
  6. What a great job!! Big compliments!!
  7. I'm gonna make doors with glass so can see them...
  8. Congratulations for your model, looks really like the old loved one. I noticed that probably due to copter's weight the trailer is flexing. You should make the trailer stronger or make it as the original one that has a different shape. Anyway you did a good job, I like the truck! ciao
  9. Hi everyone, I'm gonna write my collection 'cause I haven't enought space for display for now. As far as a workplace concerns I use the kitchen round table extended. 8043x2-8053 8110 8250-8258-8265-8275-8288 8436-8455 8620-8640-8660-8680 8720 8825-8839-8849-8851-8853-8854-8855-8856x2-8862-8868-8872-8891Book My collection seems like a drop of water compared to a lake or a sea someone has :cry_sad: Here are the sets currently on display(8660-8856-8854-8872-8043-8455) Where all others sets are..divided and inside plastic bags. Manuals are inside individual plastic bags and haven't shot a pic of them. And here are my spare parts, not so many I know, but just discovered bricklink and must start use it :cry_sad: I'd keep my sets inside a closed cabin to avoid dust on them and plan to build it this winter, can't figure out how you can keep them on display in open air inside your rooms *huh* . What about all the dusts on them then? When I buy a 2nd hand set, 1st thing I do is to wash all the pieces BIG COMPLIMENTS to some of YOU for your workplace, your pieces organization and your collection!! Ciao Flavio
  10. A couple of months ago I bought mine through amazon.it( i'm in Italy) and with free shipping was 121 euro. Now it's about 144. But I just bought another one(used) on ebay.de for 109euro+22shipping due to weight. Obviously I don't think is good for you to buy in Europe due to shipping rates but on ebay.de you can make good deals on Technic sets, don't know why they sell even rare sets at low prices.. Anyway good luck for this "must have "set. Ciao
  11. Set+shipment? Sounds a good price.
  12. Yep, I know it but forgot about it :( It's a shame it ends so early :cry_sad:
  13. Hi, think to buy it too, don't know if near future or wait for Xmas and had a look on EBAY.DE, that's the cheapest one, cheaper than Italy too.. don't know about shipping rate to your country, contact the seller and ask him. http://www.ebay.de/itm/LEGO-TECHNIC-4x4-Offroader-9398-NEU-OVP-/221112946520?pt=DE_Allesf%C3%BCrdKind_Spielzeug_Lego&hash=item337b5bcf58 Ciao
  14. I think 90% for models, my collection is slowly growin, from the early 80s till now. The problem is that almost all of them are in parts inside plastic bags because I haven't enough space to display them :( Lately I started building some simple mocs and doing some mods in certain sets to make them closer to reality(example differentials in old tractors). I'm a bit "scared" to mix all the parts toghether from all sets, I'd like to keep them separated(especially the old ones from old sets). That said I'm always surprised when I see mocs posted here and usually save them so I can try some. Ciao
  15. Oh sorry, didn't know the existance of a 3 double axel truck anda trailer too. Thought maximum was 2. Anyway you did a nice job. Is the trailer lenght in scale with the truck? Are the 3 truck axels with a differential each? Thanks
  16. Thanks for hekp with bricklinks! Very appreciated!!!
  17. Excuse me, although I'm not so familiar with bricklink(now I start learning about buy spare parts..) can you tell me were to go to find my answers? Thanks appreciated Flavio
  18. Hello everybody, I've got some questions and I'd like to know the answers; gonna number them so you can answer using it: 01. What's the 1st technic set to use a 1 inlet pneumatic cylinder? 02. What's the 1st technic set to use a 2 inlet pneumatic cylinder? 03. What's the 1st technic set to use an air tank? 04. What's the 1st technic set to use an air-compressor? And what other sets use an air-compressor? 05. What's the 1st technic set to use the flex system? 06. What's the 1st technic set to use power functions? 07. What's the 1st technic set to use linear actuators? 08. What's the 1st technic set to use the 8287 motor(the one used in the 8421 crane)? And what other sets use this motor? 09. What's the 1st technic set to use the fake motor with real pistons and not as the previous ones as the 8859 set for example? 10. Is the 8839 the only ship ever made by technic? 11. Is the 8250/8299 the only U-boot ever made by Technic? Thanks for answers, appreciated. Ciao
  19. or buy this one http://www.ebay.de/itm/LEGO-Technik-Batterie-Kasten-8287-9-Volt-/251126472593?_trksid=p5197.m1992&_trkparms=aid%3D111000%26algo%3DREC.CURRENT%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D14%26meid%3D1759643859899763241%26pid%3D100015%26prg%3D1006%26rk%3D1%26
  20. Well as far as I'm concerned if I modify a set I try to make it closer to reality, don't think exists a truck with 3 axels on the back of the truck(especially with double wheels) and even a 3 axels trailer, almost impossible they turn. Anyway if you like it it ok A double wheels and a double axel (with double wheels) trailer should be perfect for long trees, I think in the USA use this configuration. Personally when I'll buy the 9397 I'll do the double wheels mod and add the pneumatic to the claw as in 8868. Cheers
  21. I want to buy it sooner or later..
  22. Oh so many sets out here!! I voted for many of them 'cause used to see them on catalogues when was a child and now, after 26 years, I have almost all so I voted for: 851,856,8848,8859 that I haven't yet :( and 8851,8660,8680,8849,8853,8855 (my 1st technic set when was 7),8854 and 8862. Well, I really like the 80's sets, simple not so many functions(some could be better) but although they remember my childhood(even if only about dreaming to have them at that time) are still my favourites :) ciao
  23. Yep was 8459 :( nevermind even before the 80's is fine for me :)
