  1. If it counteracted the losses caused by some other themes, it could easily have accounted for more than 100% of LEGO's net profits.
  2. I'm guessing that it'll be basically an Eleventh Hour Supermask, used to defeat the MoUP in BIONICLE's final confrontation.
  3. At least Scorpio doesn't manage to make purple clash with tr. purple. I'm not sure how you can make a color clash with its translucent equivalent, but they definitely managed it with Skull Basher.
  4. They're definitely stickers. If you look closely enough at the pictures, you can see the lines where the stickers end.
  5. The whole thing is still rather small-looking compared to, say, the Haunted House, which also seemed to be far more detailed and had a lower price as well. I don't know why, but it just lacks a certain something to my mind. I guess I'm just dissapointed that the whole thing bears so little resemblance to Yang's actual temple, never mind the inclusion of things from unrelated areas.
  6. After having seen both of them a little more, I'm starting to think Basher is the worst set.
  7. I feel that I am the only one who finds this set remarkably underwhelming. It seems to feature Yang's temple, but with next to no show accuracy. Only the statue actually shows what it's supposed to be. And the whole thing seems to be smaller than the Fire Temple in size. Sure, it's nice to get the mailman, Misako and Dareth, but apart from that, it doesn't really have all that much going for it. I suppose it's pretty good from an architectural perspective, but apart from that... At any rate, I'm really glad that I can pass this one up. There are already too many Ninjago sets that I want to get. Can someone please explain why this is considered such an appealing set? And also what those grey pieces in the spire-thingy on top of the temple are?
  8. Considering that they have teeth and tongues, I'm guessing they have spit. Also, the
  9. Okay, I'm catching up on the episodes, but can anyone explain why, if
  10. The weird thing is that I'm pretty sure I saw them last time I went to a German LEGO store.
  11. I really doubt we'll get pictures of that temple today rather than Friday. Personally, I'm hoping it's Yang's temple, although the Cloud Kingdom thing would probably need more advanced techniques to make those massive round walls.
  12. I wonder if LDD entries are allowed.
  13. Yeah, that's pretty damn beautiful. Nice joke with that Nuva symbol. What I really love about that artwork though are those curious biomechanical fishies. Especially their "What's this then?" expressions. Also, that series of submerged half moon thingies is intriguing. Some explanation for those sunken ruins would be nice to get at some point. Also, the only issue I have with that mega-combiner is how weird the head looks when it's all the way in the back. I do wonder how the lower leg connection works.
  14. Basically, this is intended as a general topic for MOCs and concepts of G1 sets redesigned to match the CCBS aesthetic that G2 uses, as suggested in the G2 Bohrok Concepts thread. For the sake of not having duplicate threads, please post Bohrok revamps over there.
  15. Yeah, I'm pretty sure a main topic for general CCBS revamps of G1 stuff would be a good idea. I'll open one right now, actually. Unless your Rahkshi can curl up into a ball, I'd suggest you post it there.
  16. I also want Earth Blue CCBS shells. They're significantly better than other dark colors as the "neutral" background in a color palette. While I'm unsure how well tr. clear CCBS pieces might work, I would definitely love if LEGO produced glow in the dark/spring green (either or blended) shells. +1 on the round detail shell. It might be a bit bulbous for its intended use (which is why the new SW design is so great and would also be great to have in black), but for filling in holes in large MOCs it's perfect. Also, +1 on the Protector-sized army builders. Preferably, though, they wouldn't all be variations on the same basic build. Maybe two to three could be actual minions of the main bad guy, and the others could be siege weapons and animals.
  17. Stars and Glatorian (and the Mata Nui Titan. How I wish I had saved that money). I actually like some parts from the Mistika wave, like Gali's scope.
  18. Now that I think about it, the chance for even more tr. pieces would be a godsend. System Elves introduced tr. purple chains for crying out loud.
  19. I don't know about Elves, but Ninjago is definitely something I'd like to see in Constraction form.
  20. Ooh, both of those things make a lot more sense now.
  21. I for one would say that possibly inflicting permanent brain damage is probably a crueler thing to do to than ripping someones face off, especially if they can just replace it anyway. I mean, why would the Toa throw away their original masks?
  22. There are a few things that make very little sense to me in episode 46: And the Morro Dragon's face looks horrifying. It's somewhat crocodilian, rather skeletal and definitely looks like it got covered in rotting plant matter in a swamp. It kind of reminds me of SCP-682, actually.
  23. To be honest, I'm not sure yet. A bit more on topic, though, I think Slicer has the best print. The asymmetry works in that case.
  24. Something like that is pretty much what I was thinking of, yes.
