Yes, but that solution leaves the armor far further down on the legs than the pictures show.

I really love the scene where Onua is going "Ehm...actually, that was mostly me" and Lewa just cuts him off.

Sure, the lower part is an illusion, but the upper part definitely isn't.

Wow, I love that chest piece. It looks like the super heroes torso add on combined with the SW piece. Beautiful. And Umarak actually looks like he'll be useful for MOCcing. And while Gali's orange shoulder plate sadly enough appears to be the Vorox one, the blended version of the Skull armor is lovely, especially considering the fact that Gali's using proper tr. blue rather than tr. light blue this year. Plus, Gali's giant spear sword is ridiculously awesome, while Lewa's double lime swords are pretty as can be. And the fact that Umarak appears to use the bear trap creature's pieces as shoulder armor is just perfect. Plus, is that dark red I see? EDIT: You can see Umarak's secondary weapon peaking up next to his head on the right side of the picture. It appears to be either a scythe or a sword, with the end jutting out near his armpit region on the left of the picture. EDIT: And he has a third weapon: a club or dagger thing hanging off of his thigh. EDIT: Not 100% relevant, but I've come up with an explanation for every character with gappy legs or similar, like Umarak. The way it works is like a biomechanical version of a rat trap fish's jaw. EDIT: Aaaand Onua looks ridiculously awesome. His weapon is just...it is the best. It's a minigun drill hammer. I think Korgot has been educating Onua in the ways of "victory by means of superior firepower" (for those of who are wondering what I'm talking about, my headcanon explains Korgot's decision to build a minigun into her body as gun nut tendencies likely to make an actual head cannon seem like a good idea).

So apparently someone labeled Onua wrong. Also, by the way, Gali is female. More importantly, your information contradicts CM4Sci's regarding Terak's colors, unless you confused yellow with gold and red with purple.

Yeah, I thought so. I'm not really sure how they'd make that fit the sort of aesthetic the Toa seem to be going for judging by the descriptions, a kind of mix between that of 2015 and a more tribal and feathery aesthetic. It confuses me a little that people at TTV are complaining about Gali's build not being "feminine". Come on guys, there's more than one female build in real life. Also, I hope Terak's new claw pieces are like the spine-like claws of real moles. And hopefully they won't just be the Chima claws on exo-force arms, or at least non-rubbery versions. They lose their friction so fast.

Wow, these sound very cool, especially the big fort. And the green-armored samurai and four-armed ghost sound great.

Well, Melum seems strange. But it's amusing how they chose a creature for Jungle that we hadn't even thought of yet is probably the first thing you'll notice if you're ever in a jungle: a mosquito. And the new creatures seem awesome. A legged venus fly trap like creature? Cool. I'm a little confused by the pseudo-Mask of Control, but Umarak has a great color scheme, at least for my MOCcing purposes. But I've got to ask, what do you mean by the SW constraction torso? The piece used on Luke?

More to the point, they're cute, which always seems to be the intent with "girly" themes.

Judging from that, what we'll be getting are Mixel-jointed dragons. Which sounds pretty cool. That'd allow for some pretty organic and smooth-looking dragons. And judging by that baby dragon, the dragons will look very alien, which is nice.

It's not even a theory. It's a hypothesis, and one which doesn't make sense either. From what we can tell, the brains were grown in vats and can't reproduce and therefore can't evolve. Second of all, the brains were unleashed on the planet Makuhero city is on, which is a completely different planet from the one the beasts came from. Third of all, those carvings at the cave entrance indicate that the beasts have been there for thousands of years.

Well, the kaiju are apparently sapient, according to the episode. As for why she'd build a weapon, I think it's more supposed to be something to easily move coccoons. -

Grievous is without a doubt the best of the wave. Even with the ridiculous SW markup, I'm planning to get him. -
That mecha armor chainsaw-armed Onua on the right though.

It wouldn't be so bad if they had put more focus on Korgot. Seriously, how did the guy with a shoulder-mounted cannon and very pathetic knives get more attention than the person who built a minigun into her body and dualwields a drill and a double-bladed knife? Sure, red is usually more popular than black, but I'm pretty sure the aforementioned factors would have more than counteracted that.

It's really bothering me more than ever in the recent episodes how masculine Gali sounds. Seriously, they bothered to give her a classically feminine look, why not give her a feminine voice as well? If it's the whole "young boys think girls are icky aspect" (I still don't understand this. Is it just something particularly common in the US? I never saw anything like that here in the Netherlands.), they should at least cash in on that to make a really creepy female villain. The only female villain we've gotten since I don't know how long has been the Queen Beast, who was an anti-villain at worst (and arguably just a victim).

Funnily enough, I've wanted to make a drill like that as part of an Ideas project. All you really need are a good setup of joints and a couple of hair brushes to get a reasonable approximation. As in movable teeth made from 4m limbs, hunched over and sticklike proportions, sickly colors that called to mind the sort of plants that smell like rotten flesh (amongst other things, keetongorange and normal yellow were mixed) and my mind automatically doing the horror movie style "darkening the edges of my vision" bit. I'm fairly used to that sort of thing, though, but I figured that's what other people would find most disturbing about the dream. Personally, I found the almost sack-like bulging purple back made from 4m shells that Onua had the most disturbing part. I think I have GK733 to thank for that bit, because I've been looking at his Cave Crawler a lot.

I had the weirdest dream about Bionicle 2016 leaks last night. The only recolor or new part were plain 5m shells in dark red, while the additional money from the recolor/new design budget resulted in Toa at least 30cm tall, with strange, semi-humanoid and extremely disturbing beasts as their enemies. I wonder how many parts per set could actually be gained if the budget for new parts was used to make the sets bigger?

Yeah, the scorpion from the Month of Stone is what got me thinking about it. It'd be pretty easy to make that into a LEGO creature. And there's no reason for them to not just take the basic design and approximate that with CCBS.
