  1. Ooh, thanks! Really excited about the City of Stiix. And from the looks of it, those Airjitzu spinners launch really well and really, really high. I wish LEGO had known how to do this sort of stuff properly when they made the Rhotuka launchers.
  2. Great, now I want a hatchling I. Rex. It's just so cute. That's why you give dinosaurs feathers. Baby birds don't look adorable, they look like they want to rip out your eyes and lay eggs in the sockets.
  3. And now I definitely want the Titan Mech Battle. Incidentally, it's pronounced "Nee-ah" according to the show. I think that's not really correct according to normal transliteration of Japanese, but it is the official pronunciation though.
  4. This is kind of random, but I made a count of all the sword-like pieces in ghost colors in all of the sets known to us so far, and this is what I came up with: 22 of the small Chima spider legs 8 of the large flame pieces that were also introduced in Chima 12 of the elemental sword type pieces 12 of the new saber pieces 9 katanas 5 of the smaller flames introduced by Chima 5 of the weird blades introduced by Ninjago in 2012 (the ones held by their middle and with a serrated smaller edge) 7 of the large, thin blades (as used in the City of Stiix (which my subconscious keeps trying to correct to "sticks") boat) 4 of the larger blade pieces (as used by the Morro Mech) Spinners include four more katanas and one more small flame piece. EDIT: It seems the City of Stiix has a feature which allows you to open up the rock facade beneath it to let Nya's vehicle through. Look just above it and you'll see the gears.
  5. Incidentally, does anyone know why LEGO is so tremendously fond of small, hexagonal prisons that hang off the side of a larger build?
  6. Yeah, that seems like it's Nya's vehicle alright. I really love the look of the temple thing, although I would have preferred some tan detailing on the rock facade, which the blurry pictures seemed to imply. Seriously, why do blurry pictures always give me ideas on how to improve sets? Despite the slight overuse of lime, this set makes me really excited for the D2C, although I hope the D2C will be more substantial. The set has so many features that none of them seems to have any weight to it. The ghost ship (which is definitely a miniature ghostified Destiny's Bounty) is pretty neat, though. I like how they included all that detail, including a small hold, accessible via a barred door. I'm not sure what to think of it, to be honest. The leaked pictures that guy is showing off don't bring much to our attention that we didn't already know, although the extra angles are nice, and the way the Skreemers fit over armor too is pretty cool. I think I can definitely say that I'm skipping the Ronin R.E.X.. The vehicle never interested me, and the dragon isn't all that good a design either. Also, I spotted an error in the picture on the back of Cole's set. They used a grey shooter rather than a black one as the one on the right (from your perspective). And the printing of the ghost shield is beautiful.
  7. I might check the stores tomorrow. There are two stores near me that tend to have a large selection of LEGO, and one of the stores I may visit is basically the Dutch equivalent of ToysRUs.
  8. Okay, this may just be Google Translate, but the description for the City of Stiix (how I long to correct that double i to a y) set appears to mention "ninja rolls". More magic food?
  9. That clasp printing is gorgeous. I also love the mini-model version of Wu's dragon. Such elegance and awesome parts. The Golden Dragon is rather lacking, though.
  10. Where is this description? All I can see is the one fuzzy image of the set. Also, if the price is $125, that makes the entirety of the summer wave more than $700
  11. I think something square and strutted like the Hordika armor piece would be nice to see as an add-on or new shell. Besides that, only the 90 degree variant of the basic "hand" piece seems like it would be different enough to be worth it while still being usable as a CCBS addition. As for weaponry, I just want new designs, preferably integrated with CCBS more in some way.
  12. So this isn't the D2C. It would be really underwhelming if it was, although the Ghost Bounty is cute and the temple has some very unique design elements, such as that weird tower next to it. If the D2C uses the same style, though, I might get both this and the D2C and see how they look together. I also like the idea of the temple being situated on top of some rocks. I think 70732 looks like a $80 exclusive, which is pretty huge. I really hope LEGO doesn't add any more stuff to the Ninjago lineup. At that point, the franchise might crash. Seriously, one wave that costs more than $600 is pretty ridiculous.
  13. Yeah, but causing people to fight for no clear reason is Rahkshi of Anger territory.
  14. See, that´s what Bricks and Pieces is perfect for. Minifigure heads are the one kind of part they seem to reliably have.
  15. Wow, the back of the ghost masks is transparent. I can see some uses for them already.
  16. /\ Isn't that basically just the Rahkshi of Anger's power condensed into a mask?
  17. I always thought Grievous torso shell was gunmetal. I'm not sure why you're surprised, really. Black is usually more useful, but I can see a lot more uses for a gunmetal version, if only because of the other pieces that exist in that color. I just wish we would get a non-humanoid (Skull Scorpio and LoSS, who is more of a technic model than a constraction one, are the only ones this year and neither is particularly appealing. Non-humanoids also have the best parts for MOCcing, in my experience), but a droid could serve that purpose quite well.
  18. Toa Mata Nui was about the same weight as Kardas, but a lot smaller. I think the humongous, ridiculously armored legs Mata Nui had were the cause of that. Considering that Grievous appears to be about the same height as Toa Mata Nui was, I think a $50 pricepoint would allow LEGO to do some amazing designs.
  19. Dammit. I could have sworn I had the Ninjago topic open.
  20. I'm hoping for a Kardas-sized $50 titan as Makuta's/the MoUP's final form, but the only way that'll ever happen is if LEGO really manages to push the promotion of BIONICLE before they start planning summer 2017 sometime next year.
  21. I honestly doubt they won't be sold in Europe. Ninjago has been one of LEGO's most succesful lines, even here, where there's no TV show. Most of the kids I see at stores are clustered around Star Wars and Ninjago, which only serves to confirm what I've heard. And anyway, why would Brittain have gotten an earlier release if Ninjago doesn't sell well?
  22. Saying that asexual ≠ aromantic seems profoundly stupid to me, though. And anyway, if it was just to avoid shipping questions, why not just say "I won't answer questions about shipping. You're going to write fanfic about stuff even if it blatantly contradicts what I have said."?
  23. I ship Protector of Earth x magma. They already have adamantine, they might as well have the other dwarfy stuff.
  24. Yeah, I hope LEGO makes more constraction titans. CCBS lends itself well to large builds.
  25. Huh, I was under the impression that they were about the same size as velociraptors. I guess that's one strike against it gone.
