  1. Engine is spot on, also the way you managed to get the exhaust to sweep round is very good.
  2. There are other ways to make an adder, but I agree it will be a challenge with the space that you have, just thought i would throw it in for completeness.
  3. Hi, yes sorry for the BLE, I looked a while ago but the cost was very high so I gave it a miss
  4. The other option if you would like to keep the 2 M motors is to create an adder. This is a type of gear train that allows motors of different speeds to add their torque, here is one example, there are many others out there http://mapageweb.umontreal.ca/cousined/lego/1-Varia/Adder/adder.html
  5. Can I ask which module you are using?
  6. This could be a winner for sure, will not cost loads to build but has lots of very attractive features, nice one
  7. agree, a small screwdriver inserted and used to pop the cup over the pin on part will do the job, i have made one good joint from 2 broken ones in the past with this technique. Patience is your friend on this one
  8. Would it be series or parallel?, i think maybe parallel to keep the voltage to 9V but I like the idea, will sure keep the train chugging for longer
  9. Fantastic, I agree with the colour comments of the LEDS, a complete fluke but a nice result
  10. then what tracks, not 9V I am sure
  11. completely agree this is a good idea, more for nothing think. I still prefer the 9V train transformers as you can set the speed as well, but this looks good and takes up the space of a battery box in a model as well, nice one
  12. Have you tried connecting the track yet, can you post a pic? how long will it last? is the finished printed result as durable;le as an injection moulded part?
  13. It does seem very odd that these are not on the market yet, most people, when asked would say that bad news is better served with a flow of information. we don weant miss information or no information. LEGO should just come out and say what the plan is, as you say
  14. I also like reading the publication, when I got into trains it was a great fine, lost of info, thanks for all your hard work and looking forward to the next issue when ever its ready.
  15. Its amazing that the only non LEGO in that solution is the screw in the bracket, brilliant
  16. Will definably get this, thanks for the writeup
  17. I would try without the loco on the track, do the wheels move then? have you moved the control wheel round lots of times? and when you do does the green light on the receiver flash, it should, if it does not then you are not getting a good signal form the remote to the receiver.
  18. I love this, such a good solution using what you have and not just going out and getting new stuff, you should make the app available if not already i bet there are loads of people that would like to play with this.
  19. The set-up is great and the video makes it look a million dollars, very well done
  20. will be keeping an eye on this, can't wait to see it trundle along the street
  21. second that, if any one knows
  22. does it run or is it a static model? either way it looks really good and very like the real ting, well done
  23. Its amazing, both the aircraft its self and the mount with 3 axis, just incredible that it's all Lego.
  24. Nice set of videos, thanks for sharing. Have you performed any side by side tests of the finished unit against both and unmodified 9V and PF motor, just interested how the finished unit works.
  25. At the end of the day its you're Lego do what you want with it. I personally like to see the things that people come up with that are not like the normal sets rolled out by Lego. There are loads of posts on this forum about Lego always creating vehicles with technic, so why not a building, can't wait to see what you come up with
