There's a link button right after the strikethrough (S), looks kind of like three chain links if you have a good imagination. Or you can double click on a link as your editing a post and a box should pop up that will give you options to change the link and/or the display text. Edit: Scratch the code part, I can't get that to work...

Kaliphlin at Work - Day 1: Mophet - Juz'albieta farm

I really like the aqueduct/elevated irrigation canal here, great way to spice up the build. Good work on the irregular base too! -

The Isle of Druidham [Avalonia Task III]
Kai NRG replied to Henjin_Quilones's topic in Guilds of Historica
You really shine with these micros, this one has a lovely blend of colors - I can't get over the transparency of your waters and the pink works so well! Great use of headlight bricks on the buildings and the dragon dens around back are spot on. The lighthouse is perfect and I love the waterfalls, not to mention the part of the building (dormitories and kitchen) built into the rock! Keep these micro builds coming! -

I feel like we do know where it is, kind of between Sultan's Gate and Petrea, but I can't remember why I have that idea. From what I understand of the story, at some point during the Civil War the DK moved his HQ from Sultan's Gate back to Kaligem, but afterwards he ended up back at Sultan's Gate, possibly because it turned out that the manpower for the reconstruction of Kaligem is not forthcoming. -
The roof looks just amazing in the close-up shots, and your vegitation as always is stunning. I really like the single white flower in front of the window. Enjoyed reading the story too!

Real nice job with this build, I especially like the paper built into the desk - nice touch! Neat to see an actual Kaliphlinian supporting the DK too, although of course I ardently wish the High Council reject all mummiferous overtures.

Book III - Kaliphlin: Guild sign-up and Discussion
Kai NRG replied to Kai NRG's topic in Guilds of Historica
Gotta congratulate Kaliphlin for coming out strong in the slow part of slow and steady wins the race! Gold standings have been announced for the last freebuild period and for the first challenge, and... Avalonia - 213 gold Varlyrio - 132 gold Mitgardia - 123 gold Kaliphlin - 109 gold ...we're in last. But three cheers for Gideon with the highest scoring challenge entry! Now let's get out there and chop those tree huggers down to size! -
Book III - Kaliphlin: Guild sign-up and Discussion

Okay so OOC, I don't want to see Ulandus influence transforming Kaliphlin any more than I want to see the DK as supreme monarch. As far as I am concerned no tears would be shed if he sunk it again even if it means I lose my title of Third Centurion. I'm in favor of Kaliphlin for the Kaliphinians, not for the Nocties or for the sea people. I would absolutely have gone with the HC in the Civil War but I preferred to support the underdog (and boy did I choose well ). Historically I agree with you too although, of course, Egypt was pretty conquest oriented at times as well. And while we're hitting at glorious achievements, just think of all the blood, time, and resources Ark'Mora spent in -
Book III - Kaliphlin: Guild sign-up and Discussion
Kai NRG replied to Kai NRG's topic in Guilds of Historica
Well, let's remind ourselves of a little history... Ark'Mora Raa came to power by drowning his brother (okay so granted his brother was pretty awful but still), he got a good deal of his magical power from Nocturnus (including his legendary immortality), he sunk a whole island, he tried to destroy Avalonia but failed because the fairies got together and stopped him (mostly), and he demands absolute allegiance from every Kaliphlinian. Evil? I dunno, he'll let you live if you do exactly what he says all the time... -
Book III - Kaliphlin: Guild sign-up and Discussion
Kai NRG replied to Kai NRG's topic in Guilds of Historica
My personal opinion is that Ark'Mora only opposed Ravaage because he wanted to merge Nocturnus and Kaliphlin into one grand evil darkland all for himself! (There's little doubt as to where I stand on Kaliphlin politics. ) I tried messaging you the lore, it was too long. -

Here it is: I think no, it doesn't include HSS, but the safe bet is to ask in the HSS thread and see what HQ says. -
Book III - Kaliphlin: Guild sign-up and Discussion
Kai NRG replied to Kai NRG's topic in Guilds of Historica
Nope, no problem, only keep in mind that challenge entries are (or have been in the past) required to use only LEGO or LEGO-customizers' (i.e. not competitors) parts. But I believe it's fine for freebuilds! It's definitely a pretty neat piece, and from what I've heard Oxford is one of the better non-LEGO brick companies, not involved in pure copying of LEGO's designs! -

I love this wall technique! Great cobblestone too. And the interior looks really good, the idea of rolling up capes for bolts of cloth is pretty nifty and the grate in front of the fireplace works amazingly well for its simplicity. Super smooth integration of the shield over the door too.

This is such a nice little ship, as Drunknok said, you really managed to pack in a surprising amount of detail! I love the hatches and great job on the sails. And you've even got a rat figure head!
-
Real nice LDD ship, the sails in particular are top notch!
-
I love the blue in the wall! Really spices up the build. Great tree too!
-
Real nice work on this dwarven gate, great job building it into the mountain! The tree looks good growing out of the rock and I love the perspective on the last picture!
