Yes, you're certainly right; here's more or less what I was trying to say; if you were going to take say 5 hours (assuming you build at what I guess is semi-normal speed), you'd probably be better off doing a 16x16 than a 32x32. In other words, just the fact that you stuck your build on a big baseplate doesn't mean you'll automatically get more points than someone who did a smaller vig. Anyways, basically I meant that just because a build is small, it still can get a good amount of free build points! Yes, Mitgardia has had quite a few freebuilds recently. But just wait, Kaliphlin seems to have plenty on their way!

Whoa, Mini (for one thing, thanks! ), but I don't think Mitgardia was second when I joined... so I don't really deserve much credit! As for the Advent calender, all but one were Kaliphlin. (It probably did grant points, though I doubt it was the full 50 for each one! - that would have been a bit too cool!) Actually, it seems to me (looking at the criteria that is listed... well, I don't really recall where, but I think it was in front of the MOC index?), the size of the build isn't as important as it's quality; what I'm trying to say is that the stud count of a build is not a factor of the amount of points you get. So really, you would get almost the same amount of points for a well done 8x8 as for a well done 32x32 (maybe not quite even, but pretty close). At least that's what it struck me as...

As far as titles, yeah, I really don't care if I'm Lord High king of the whatever (palm trees? ) or not, just that it would give me more ideas (actually I'm not lacking on those right now. Just need to figure out which one to do first... ) And Ska... to what were you referring when you said the newest mini-story? (Sure sign that I've been writing too much today... ) Edit: I must really be tired. I used three of the same faces in a row...

Nice build! All the different levels are really neat, I like the way it seems to be just cut straight out of the ground! Looks almost like they're just going to cut all the rock away until the tower/castle crumbles to the ground... .., but with only one guard there they shouldn't have too much trouble!

Whether it's for fun or for prize, it's a great idea! With Challenge VI going it might be a bit more of a challenge for everyone to participate as some of us will have our hands full with three MOCs of that size though. Are you suggesting just Kaliphlin I take it? We certainly need more free builds. I know I almost always need some sort of motivation to build something like that; it's not that often (though occasionally, for my story especially) that I build just for the free build points. Actually I always wished we had a system of titles like Avalonia. And I always wondered why so few of the Avalonians have all the titles (do any of them have all the titles?). Those gingerbread men do look pretty sweet (no pun intended - originally), though chances are the official ones will be considerably different (I would think light brown would be a more natural color).

Actually, I could possibly manage... but then I just bought a bunch that I wasn't really planning on... and I got the MMV when I really shouldn't have... Seriously though, the only one I'm really interested in is the Ring of Fire (and Eglor, but I think that one should still be around), so all the rest can go sell out tomorrow for all I care...

Good point there. Well, I still say it looks more like a wolf, but yeah, a dragon is more likely. Personally I don't really care, as I wasn't around for the wolfpack, and as far as preference it's a toss-up... but I do think the shield lacks something... maybe it should have a red rather than white/grey border?

Nope, Kaliphlin is every guild in one (and more). See, we share a border with Avalonia, so we got some nice forest (not too much to be sure, but some), we've got tons of coastline, perfect for Mediteranian style buildings, palm trees, etc. plenty of desert, ranging from nice warm sand to burning heat, and of course with deserts come oasis, we've got all those nice caves running underground (left from old mining operations, maybe?), swamps down in the bottoms, and the Rakath mountains off to the east. And on our side snow falls, not ash (where'd you get that anyways Mini?). Plus, I recognize you're sigfig...
