Rawzom and Eris! Whirling Vines sounds nice too!

Legends of Chima - Which faction are you?
Kai NRG replied to pedro's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
What's up with the ravens? Ravens all the way! (I do like eagles though, and bears and gorrillas are neat...) -
In this new trailer on the Chima website.

That's why I'm saying it's the time of day; I had all kinds of troubles yesterday at four, but at 7am it was fine. If you're game for waiting, that is!

Amazing Prize pool! And by my count there will be 10 left open for raffle...

So it's more like the blue stuff getting dirty and not the blue stuff coming off? Then I guess the trick is to just Speedor on a clean surface (how clean, I wonder?). Just try at a time where there's less traffic. 7 in the morning, for example (if you get up that early. I was on at that time today and didn't have any problems. But then I had the advantage of the time change).

Ditto about Cragger. It sounds like it should be... Crooler...

Kaliphlin Guild: Homepage, Sign-up and Discussion
Kai NRG replied to Si-MOCs's topic in Guilds of Historica
I think Kaliphlin will have a good showing for this Challenge, glad to hear there's some excitement! Think I'll have to turn this into something of a race for myself... as half of January and March are out as far as building time... Wasn't able to get any free builds done this week (read, posted), CCCX pretty much MOCed me out and I'm trying to get Sci-Fi month out of the way... I do have two built, just need the storyline (that seems almost standard now...). Plus I've read up on the Revelword (that how you spell his name?) story, and got the rough outline of mine almost done (need to know what to build!). In fact, I'm going to try to be first with this challenge... (and then @Peppermint_M had to post a Building Drive). -
Looks more like long coat piece to me. Pretty nice actually, now the shirt to pant transition doens't look so abrupt.

IDK about the rest of the show, you'd think so but who knows, especially if Ninjago will have a few more episodes.

That's really a shame. Does it not work well at all without the blue stuff? I never had any problems with my spinners, it'd be pretty bad if we had to go down from there...
-
I'll throw my questions in here: if I do say four builds - for judging, only three will be eligible, but any others will/could get free build points right? And what I was really getting at; voters (since I believe the rules stated that GoH members only would vote for their favorite story) will vote on - the entire thing, right (not just three builds)?

Cheers Legonardo... even if I'm not Avalonian! -
Just swap for a ray gun. Many of us did more drastic changes...

16th January there will be a one hour special, if that's what you're refering to. Other than that I don't think we've heard much about a show, but perhaps some one could confim?

Well... the Lions are going to be able to demote or jail the head croc but they can't take care of his son? I suppose there are always other possibilities, but I'll stick with a very small pinch of salt...

I quote from this page: "When the Crocodile Prince Cragger accused the Lions of getting rid of his parents and he became Crocodile King, full-scale conflict broke out between the Crocodiles and the Lions. As conflict spreads, the fate of the Kingdom of CHIMA hangs in the balance…" "Get rid of" sounds like dead to me...

Thanks, Luxor! A couple interesting things - the panoramic set view, for one thing, is pretty neat; can't help but think that some of the more obvous empty spaces will be filled later. And when I clicked on the Croc command ship I got Razcal's Glider... (not for the animation, but everything else). Is it just me or do the videos work really slowly for others as well? And apparently the story goes something like this: Craggers and Laval are best friends (I'm tempted to say, then he turned, and fell! ), Crominus never liked the lions though. The lions have control of the Chi lake, but they don't have much choice other than to distribute it fairly as if anyone/group gets too much (or even if the lake is left with too much) the "balance" (do we really have to get that in everywhere?) will be destroyed. At a certain age young Chimise (whatever) get their first "taste" of Chi. Just as Laval is about to do this (with a lot of ceremony as he is the Lion Prince), something happens and he drops the Chi. Then Crominus picks it up and uses it, in his chest (which apparently was not what Laval was going to do?). The Lion king commands his warriors to "put a stop to this", and in the ensuing fight(s) Crominus & Queen are killed. Meanwhile, Craggers has "tasted" Chi, and is all too "hungry" for it, so he... turns and falls. Resentful for the death of his father and mother, he blames the lions, and that's that. More or less. At least that's what I gathered from the bios and video(s).

Thanks, Si, I think that should be easy to work with!

Yes, I see, I had just thought it might be tough to make a good looking mech that would fit a shark in a position where you could see the front of his head - but it really doesn't matter as I don't plan on doing a shark! About the size - min. 16x16 means that if it's on a baseplate that needs to be at least 16x16 but what if not (supposing it's a mech or something similar)? Does that just mean that in some direction (and if the arms/legs are poseable, they can be streached out) it needs to be 16x16 (max 32x32)? Still not sure what I want to do but was thinking a mech... even if it's not so original...

Love the Dragonfly and great piece use on the butterfly too! And the Walking Stick is quite clever!

Thanks! I cannot tell you how many times I built and re-built the top, but finally I was happy with it! You're more than welcome to! (The one problem was that it made it a bit more difficult to photograph. But I was in a fireplacey mood...) Thanks! (I know, I was never going to do one again... but since it was the same style as my previous window, I didn't have to go through the entire thing... though I did have to re-build it a couple times.) Oh, and it's Kai NRG... ... I couldn't resist... Edit: And what did I do wrong with the faces? I didn't even write them myself... ... well I can't get them to work whatever I do. Edit (probably 5 by now?): Guess it was the brackets...

Bears and Rinos! Looking pretty cool. Guess LEGO is determined to make sure there's something for everyone with this theme... fortunate that I'm not a compleatest, I'm feeling for anyone who wants to collect the whole theme...
