  1. Well all that track is a nice plus, though I still don't think I'll end up getting it...
  2. Your first flight? It's fun... actually I don't think I could count all the times I've flown... Anyway it looks great! Can't wait to see it finished but the bridge over the river was a great idea!
  3. Tell that to Si-MOCs, he ran an entire Sci-Fi month... fortunately now it's Fabuland and I don't have any pieces nor am I that interested in the prizes, honestly... Anyway, this one's also for LCC, I believe you are an outlaw there, so don't blame me for signing up... Thanks! Edit: Sci-Fi, not Si-Fi...
  4. Great second version! The fire is a nice touch and the stairs look even better now!
  5. Thanks Z! Yeah, it's not particularly roomy and I didn't quite get the look I wanted since I was trying to imply that there was more to it, but I wanted to stick with more or less the same size and style of the other three builds.
  6. Yeah, I kind of figured that, it's hard to tell from the angle but I can't think of any other hair that would look like that...
  7. Yeah, I kind of feel like I have good cliff-hangers but I'm not sure, I have the rough outline but the story has yet to be written. One thing about doing them one at a time is that then I'm not left with a huge story to write at the end (knowing me, it's bound to be long...) Plus I'm using the first build at least with another setting for a different Challenge (that's what's forcing me to finish this week), so that set-up at least will be uploaded. It probably depends on how much time/incentive I have for writing...
  8. NM, that's really funny... bet the seller was happy! Is that the Cesar's hair? Looks pretty good! Nice use of the elemental blade too...
  9. So two more builds on the way! We seem to be on a roll, keep it up guys! I'm almost done with the first part of my Challenge VI, should be able to finish it by the end of the week, what I'm wondering is do you guys think I should WIP the challenge and reveal the builds as I do them or just wait until I have all three? I'm almost done with the prelude story, so that's not too much of a problem, what do you guys think? (I lean toward revealing them as I have them ready since I don't like waiting. But I'm not sure...)
  10. Nice job, I like the rock work and the flower arrangement looks good! Interesting waterfall and neat way to use the 3 stud arch pieces!
  11. Looks impressive! I like all the vines and the wall texture is pretty neat! Nice deserted feel too!
  12. Fantastic army! All those red plumes look great, and that Ceaser hair/crown is awesome! Interested in seeing what this army does!
  13. Thanks! Thanks, MK! It actually wasn't supposed to be a lamp... though, now that you mention it, all it needs is a 1x1 round trans yellow...
  14. has too much writing to do...

  15. Thanks guys! The idea was more or less that this is just a part of the inn, theoretically it should be bigger... though it does look like the entire thing. Oh well. Glad you all seem to like the interior! It's actually pretty simple, but it did turn out nice.
  16. (I feel kind of bad resurrecting the thread but I didn't realize I hadn't answered and it hasn't been that long...) Thanks guys and gals! This thing sat on my desk for way too long... Now that you mention it... it does look like a lawn chair! All we need now is a palm tree shaped umbrella...
  17. Mitgardia (right?). BTW, Infernum, it wouldn't be a bad idea for you to add that to your signature (better said, make that your signature, since you don't seem to have one yet). Just go to your settings page, you can edit it from there! Edit: Ninja'd.
  18. Looks to me like you'll be putting buildings raised above the ground over on the right. Or am I just fooled by all that white and yellow (wow, man, you have tons!).
  19. Just finished writing the story for a build I did a couple months ago... Topic That's the last build before my Mini-challenge build can be posted, so I'll finish that one up ASAP... I hope.
  20. The sun streamed through a small crack in Raz's cell, as he raised himself drowsily and looked around. Something was different, he thought. He listened for a while, but heard nothing, scarce a sound broke the stillness of the morning air. That was it, he thought, the silence! Where were the robber's boisterous shouts, their clamoring for this and that? As he sat, puzzled, Kaflar entered the cell. "Well, what are you waiting for?" he asked gruffly. "Hurry up, you're coming with me today." "What's going on? Where is everyone?" "Three of us are still here, but the rest went to get supplies. And have a feast before they return, I have no doubt." A gleam, almost of triumph, shot from Kaflar's eyes, and confused Raz even more. "You mean Tardiff isn't here?" - and suddenly Raz thought he might be starting to understand. "Just be quiet and come." Kaflar seemed to know what he was doing, and for the next three hours the walked out across the barren sand. But gradually Raz began to doubt that he had anything in mind; they seemed to be wandering aimlessly throughout the Parched Lands. He did not dare ask questions, however. After days of travelling, he was one day surprised by seeing the hut of the mysterious ally of the robbers suddenly in front of him. The small amount of food Kaflar had brought was nearly exhausted, so Raz was not displeased with the prospect of finally having a tolerably good meal once again. During their supper, Kaflar quizzed him on what he had been doing and who he was before his capture. It made Raz somewhat uncomfortable, but he felt he had no choice but to tell. When scarce halfway through his story, Kaflar suddenly exclaimed, "We go to Cedrica." More he might have said, but the woodcutter exclaimed in surprise, "Are you crazy? Cedrica is right now likely the most dangerous place in the country! Victor will very soon be there, I have no doubt, and like as not no Historican's life will be worth a gnarled branch once he is in power." "What of that? Where would you have us go?" "Stay right around here, would be my suggestion, or go to Petraea if you must, but to Cedrica!... nevertheless, what do I care? Do as you like." "We will leave tomorrow," Kaflar replied calmly, as though there had been no discussion, and Raz, not a little surprised by the turn of events, went to bed that night in a state of extreme curiosity, mingled with a dash of uneasiness as to the conduct of his eccentric companion. The next morning they set out in the direction of Queenscross, Kaflar having explained that the easiest route to Cedrica was up the Arkbri river; indeed, it was the way Ageven had been planning to go himself. Raz wondered what they were doing now - it seemed almost as though Kaflar wished to meet Ageven, for why else would he go to Cedrica? Gradually he began to think more of the journey, and hoped that they would be able to stay in an inn soon, rather than have to sleep under the stars. Fortunately, they had made good progress that day through the Westersands, and Raz thought it not improbable that they would be able to lodge in a suburb of Queenscross. He was right; Kaflar had little more relish than Raz for sleeping out in the open - though he was indeed used to it - and so the first inn they came across, in a rather isolated position on the banks of the Arkbri, was where he determined to spend the night. Scarce had they advanced within a yard of it when, to Raz's great astonishment the door opened and out came Ageven! He explained that they had searched everywhere, that they had gone over almost all Kaliphlin, and, indeed, were at a loss what to do next! Kaflar recognized Ageven easily enough; but Ageven had some trouble recognizing the robber chief in the young knight that stood before him. _______________________ Since that was a fairly simple build, I did an interior as well: I'm happy to hear what you think of the story so far and of course comments on the build are welcome! (If the story seems to be just coming out of the blue, reading my The Hut in the Forest and The Robber's Lair might help!)
  21. Is the yellow flag for cheese?
  22. Nice job! The step technique is pretty neat, and I like the black statue! I do think an irregular base might be better, as as is it distracts slightly from the statue which is the focus of the build - I really didn't know what I was supposed to be getting out of the first picture until I read. (I'd also suggest you crop your pictures. But that's not too big of a deal right now, and it's great that you took the time to get a plain background!)
  23. That really made me laugh... Magic, of course!
  24. Thanks! Hopefully it stays that way... Thanks! Yeah, it does look a bit like a sandbox doesn't it... Thanks!
  25. Great idea, though I don't think the Hanging Gardens were actually up-side down... more likely suspended in baskets or what have you. Anyways, great job, the micro-figs especially add a great touch!
