I vote for number 3.

I build on a desk, which I do sometimes find a little small (about 2 feet by 4 or 5), especially when half of it is covered with containers/sorting trays! But that way, I can have most of my LEGO sorted into the drawers on either side of me and the rest on the floor right next to me. I could use a long table on one side though.

Thanks! Believe me, there would have been more plants if my entire PaB cup full of them weren't in another country right now... Thank you!

Well there's also Emma from Nocty who's fairly active and Cara from Mitgardia who drops in every now and then. Been a while since I've seen Erynlasgalen (Kali) though she used to be pretty active as well. As far as I know there were only ever two more (I actually can't remember names but that number strikes me as right, maybe three). Unless of course there are some who aren't saying anything...

Fantastic work on those antlers! All around this is one of my favorite series yet, lots of nice piece combinations like on the rose and the club!

Big fan of black and trans light blue that I am, this is right on! The dash of purple on the fig is great too!

As other's have said the photography is great! Like your modification of the Exo-suit as well!

Book II Challenge III Cat. A - Underground Affairs
Kai NRG replied to Garmadon's topic in Guilds of Historica
Great build, the underground chamber looks appropriately dwarf sized and got to love that wall technique! I feel sorry for the soldier in the hole when it comes to going back though... doesn't look to me as though there's enough room to pass even a mouse!- 31 replies

Definitely prefer the taller banner. Clearer and less cluttered looking and barely adds to the down scrolling!
-
Nice first build, the detail of a vine climbing the wall is good, and something a lot of first builders (or at least, I know I missed when I was a first builder) is tiling the floor, so there too! Naturally piece limitations provide quite a challenge, but if you stagger the dk grey more (like one here ____________________________one here) that could help! Edit: (one here one here didn't turn out exactly like I had planned, but the idea is one and then another half underneath.)

That fence technique is really great, and I'm liking the tree a lot as well! The door texture caught my attention too,
-
Fantastic job, love the lime green car especially. Great job on the stands and tower as well!
-
Excellent work here, I really like all the different houses and the entire scene is really lively! There are so many great details but I really like the way you did the fence around the pig pen, and the use of horns for feed!

Thanks! That last was an expedient I was forced to due to lack of pieces to smooth the cut (as I did in the front), but for all that it did turn out pretty well! Thanks Garmadon! Thanks ME! I believe that border is about the first time I've actually found minifigure platforms useful! (In fact on this occasion almost indispensable!)

[Journey to the Mystic Isles] Ch.III Men Cat. C
Kai NRG replied to Jakorin Swiftsword's topic in Guilds of Historica
Great job, I especially like the sails but the shape of the hull is really good too! -
That rockwork is great, and love the waterfall as well!

Great build, I really like the signpost and that tree looks good to me! Also like your studs up rockwork; I'd hate to think how long it would take to do that much rockwork SNOTted!

McCoyed's 3rd Anniversary Historica CMF Series
Kai NRG replied to mccoyed's topic in Guilds of Historica
Some really good figs here, great concepts too especially with the black oil dude, sculptor, and the herbologist, none of which I would ever have thought of! Well, it's just that, a personal preference; some people do think it's ugly or confusing or detracting from quality and so they mention it. I think using tan, dk. tan, light grey and dk. grey all for the same wall detracts from an MOC (though I don't usually mention it because obviously lots of other people don't think so), mixing flesh and yellow is the same to some people. Granted not all things of this sort are merely personal preferences, still the line is hard to draw, so if someone else is expressing preference for a border and not just a green baseplate ending, why shouldn't I mention that I prefer all one skin color? (Sometimes it does seem to get hyped on a bit much, especially because beyond a certain point there's no convincing someone, and it doesn't really matter anyways, but when someone comments like that, I'd take it as a friendly "If you want me to like your builds better, stick with one color head," and you can take that or leave it - and I don't mean to say that you were taking Garmadon's comment in a bad way, of course!) -
Great job on the cartographer, the woodland sentry, and the beserker! Good piece use on the lava bucket as well!

Thanks everyone! That's a very good question! I thought they looked kind of neat upside down, like maybe a stalactite with a drop of water on the inside... or not. Who knows, maybe stalactites in Historica look like that?

Book II Challenge III Dwarven Affairs
Kai NRG replied to Ecclesiastes's topic in Guilds of Historica
Here's my Category B entry, for the Men's side: -
Thanks guys! Well after paying so much for their green tights you can't expect the Avalonians to let them get dirty! Thanks! Hmm... I hadn't noticed that until now, he's actually standing on the rock but it does look like he's quite close to the rat...

Upon hearing that the Mitgardian Dwarves were coming for them, the population along the banks of the Avalonian lake gave themselves up to despair. That is, until Ageven's representative Rex showed up. He immediately suggested to flood the caves and tunnels the dwarves were building. The city burghers and the nobles around jumped at the idea, but didn't feel like getting their boots dirty, so Rex went around to the Kaliphlinian merchants in the area. These, quickly realizing that the green tight trade would languish without the lake's population, volunteered for the work, and soon a band of apprentices, armed with shovels, crossed the lake and began to dig. All unaware of the waterfall about to be released above their heads, the dwarves plan their attack, stockpile weapons, and continue to dig. Above ground, rock has been struck! And don't worry, the inundation will leave plenty of time for the dwarves to crawl back out of their tunnels... providing they don't stop for even a tiny tiny fraction of a second... Overview: Thanks for checking it out! I hope I didn't stretch the category rules - no bloodshed you know, and what could be more diplomatic than cold water? C&C welcome!
