A pair of really nice modules here, I especially like the houses built into the walls on the first one but the angling and rockwork on the outside of that is great as well! The Lake Gatehouse is really neat too, am I right in assuming that the light grey base-plate will be covered with 1x1 rounds in trans-shades?

Thanks dG! You certainly should! Thanks Slegengr! I do like that border... which is a good thing as I don't have a whole lot of other options right now...

The whimsical shape and colors of this nail the Uni-kitty feel, as others have said that window is fantastic! I really like the touch of the rainbow on the stairs, and the snakes as smoke work quite nicely!

I like how this is almost in the style of a Lego set, and the use of those curves adds to that while taking nothing away from the MOC. The chandelier also is really good!

The colorfulness of this is just awesome, the roof is fantastic and the chocolate-bar shaped door is ingenious! -

I'm really liking the idea of a storage unit, that tow truck is great even if it is very similar to the set version, the addition of light blue really helps! Good job on the snowscaping too!

Great work, the concept of a frozen fountain is really neat and you did a good job bricking it! I also really like the use of wings, and that little sled is the perfect shape!

I'm not exactly sure to what you refer but it would certainly be better to shoot the picture at such an angle that you can't see the absence of the correct head rather than later come up with a story for why the head was different/non-existent/whatever. On the other hand you might be able to find a head that you have that's similar enough to pass as a different expression of the same person. -
Great work Capt. Flint, really nice work on the texturing of the top of the house, and I also like the SNOT section of the A-roof, that works great! The terrain is fantastic as well!

That's too bad! I'm always having to cannibalize my MOCs as well... -

Great work here dG, those sand green roofs look really good and the architectural bits you've included add to it nicely! Are all the sections of your town going to connect? -
Whoops, somehow I missed that, but the tree is definitely worth it, so +1 from me!

Book II Challenge III Cat B - Underwater Affairs?! Mining the Ice-
Kai NRG replied to Garmadon's topic in Guilds of Historica
I really like the rockwork on the cliff face, the sudden jut-outs are great and so is the cave entrance although I'd like to know how the dwarves managed to make it so large before realizing that they were digging into water! The hint of under-ice color is great, and those harpoons are simple but really nice. The double length fishing string is a great way to get over the shortness of a single one! +1 for the UoP credits! Actually under a cover of ice water is a comparatively nice temperature, from what I understand (of course cold enough that you couldn't last long, even if you didn't have to breathe) - but I think part of the idea is that the dwarves have been duped into flooding their own tunnels... (and would drown if it weren't for the fishermen - hopefully - dragging them out).- 31 replies

Now that's pretty neat! First hand inspiration! Here every other house is painted a deep mustard yellow. Seriously!

As Carson Haupt said the feathers on the ground are a really nice touch! The half-timbered style is nice too, and a thumbsup from me for the irregular shape, you pulled that off quite well, I know how much of a challenge it can be! -

Your landscaping is getting better and better, the rock here is really nice especially in the area of the cave entrance! The olive green leaves add to it quite nicely as well! -
A great addition kabel, I like the colorfulness of the different buildings and your red and dark red roofs are really nice (especially the one composed of round bricks!). Nice to see an overview picture as well, the size of the layout so far is really impressive!

That first build is really neat, I'm really liking the concept of half-wall-half-organic rockwork, The model is really neat too!

The humor in your story is great, as are the builds! I particularly like the second one. Simplistic, but it gets the image across very well! -
Great work here, the height of this is pretty imposing and I like the addition of an interior, plus an underground! Nice job with the stained glass too!
