  1. Yes. If you had a free license class 1 and you wanted to get a free license class 2, you would have to unlicense your class 1, license a free class 2, and then re-license (and pay for) the class 1. If you have a class 1 that's been paid for and you don't have any free license, then just fill out the license form and check off the free license spot.
  2. Yes, you'd have to do it that way - so it can all be registered correctly.
  3. Fantastic explosion effect! Flying cannon = awesome! The rules recently underwent a re-vamp and approvals are no longer necessary.
  4. @Legostone, as there is likely to be plenty of space, you can go ahead and reserve a slot but in the future it would probably be better not to reserve a slot unless you're sure you're going to use it.
  5. Salida Este now has a small licensed fort.
  6. Right. And right. The only case in which you can retrieve your ship from a NPC just by MOCing it is if you're taking out a free license for it. Also, my apologies for mis-wording the rule change. The rule is in fact like this: --Everyone without a ship license greater than Class 1 is now entitled to a free Class 1 or 2. In other words, if all your ships are 0s or a 1s, you may free license a Class 1 or 2.
  7. Attention! --The free ship license rule for MRCA v.1 has changed; everyone without a ship license greater than Class 1 is now entitled to a free Class 1 or 2. In other words, if all your ships are 0s or a 1s, you may free license a Class 1 or 2. --In the future, when a builder's only ship greater than 0 is captured (entitling the builder to a new free license), the builder will have the opportunity to MOC the reclaiming of that ship and it will not be proceeded upon in the usual way (court action/auction, depending on who captured it) if the builder objects.
  8. The Golden Snake is signing up for the Dragon's Teeth run.
  9. @Faladrin - I don't know what was up with previously captured ships or what-all or how that worked (certainly I didn't realize that there was some protocol that would suggest that you would be able to get your ship back by building a MRCA MOC). I just wanted to see if there was a way to get the HoE back so the policy for ships captured by NPC pirates was hammered out - auction. That being the policy it didn't make any sense to apply it to HoE and not to your ship. Since sisterships are always possible provided the DBs are available, you will always have the option to license a sistership of your La Raenette (at least in MRCA v.1). But I certainly don't want to make you feel discouraged or like we're just rolling right over you here. If you could PM me with any suggestions/questions I'm all for trying to talk this out and making sure everyone's happy.
  10. To the Worthy Citizens of Eslandola, This month, the Empire of Eslandola has six warships available for escort duty. The Secretary of State has drafted three routes. These are open first of all to any Eslandian citizen. If after the 25th of March there is still room available, citizens of the other nations may apply as well. Sea Rats will need a note of legitimacy from a respected authority. (How do you get that? I have no idea. If you're interested, you might want to get the letter ready before the 25th, so you can be first in line.) Slots are granted on a first-come-first-serve basis. Clouding Blues: Low-Medium Risk. Escorted by the Walrus and La Salamandra. For two (2) speed ships. Ten slots available. Pato Moreno, @kabel - Flotilla A Stubborn Stern, @Captain Braunsfeld - Flotilla A La Transferata, - Flotilla A Winds Beauty, @Legostone - Flotilla B Dragon's Teeth: High Risk. Escorted by the Dread Treasure and The Charging Stallion. For two (2) speed ships. Ten slots available. The Golden Snake, @Kai NRG - Flotilla A Bright Owl, @Sir Stig - Flotilla A Aurei Lacerta, @Umbra-Manis - Flotilla A The Cotton Lady, @Elostirion - Flotilla B Fenix Rising, @Phadeout - Flotilla B Arkady, @TitusV - Flotilla B Double Duty: Medium Risk. Escorted by the Dark Lightning and the Blessed Angel. For three (3) speed ships. Ten slots available. La Defensora, @Captain Green Hair - Flotilla A > How do I participate? Sign up in this thread for a slot on the run of your choice. Post a link to your build and be sure to specify what type of license you have. If you haven't done it already, fill out the ship license form. We're sorry to state that because of the larger size of this month's runs, PMing all members of a run will not be an option. Then just follow the directions on the MRCA form and you'll be ready to go! Important! Eslandola provides escorts but does not guarantee safety! So what are you waiting for? Let the sign-ups begin! __________________Guy K. Wyndzon __________________Secretary of State Given on the 6th of April, 616.
  11. Bregir is correct. As there is no one to negotiate with in this case, it just makes sense to have an auction. Final pricing will certainly be announced publicly. @Faladrin - it wouldn't make sense for you to just have to do some builds to get it back. Loosing your ship is a DB loss.
  12. Great work with this shield Garmadon, the shape is excellent and the scroll on the bottom adds a lot! The FP picture is really nice too! Really like the balances!
  13. Very nice build, the various steps you've included here are well done and the palm tree is great!
  14. Yes. Pirates keep captured warships. I know nothing about the Wringe I. Was that last month? Was Capt. Zublius an NPC pirate? Then technically the Wringe should probably have been auctioned. IDK.
  15. Thanks for reminding me about that!
  16. To all those who sail the Brick Seas - Gather round! As several of you know to your cost, Bloody Bill got some booty this time around! But what would a pirate do with a trading vessel? Bloody Bill will have nothing to do with the peaceful occupation of merchant! All he wants is to get his grubby fingers on a few shiny doubloons. So, he's offering his captured trade vessels for auction. La Raenette, original owner Faladrin, Class 2 F Heart of Eslandia, original owner MCTC, Class 5 T In response to previous feed-back, we're doing this a little differently. PM me (@Kai NRG) with your highest bid. The highest bidder wins and will have to pay 5 DBs above the second highest bid (or his original bid, if that's less than 5 DBs over second). Once you have bid, drop a note in this thread stating the fact (but, of course, not the quantity). (Failure to comply with either of those two requirements will result in disqualification.) Auction ends April 12th, 12:00 noon, my time zone (GMT -3). You will not have to pay any further licensing fees, unless the ship would put you over the three ship bar. In case of a tie, first bidder wins. Be sure you will have the DBs available before the end of the month. Let the bidding begin!
  17. Very nice residence, I really like the yellow and the spears for the gate are great!
  18. Great job depicting a wreck here Capt Wolf, glad to see that the crew is alive! The ribbing on the larger piece looks great!
  19. Or you can join the MCTC. Oh wait... ... forget I ever said that... (Am I not helping? We're loyal! Of course!)
  20. Great idea here. I might have to build a small theater. Just a couple notes: Properties begin to earn income the month after purchase. (Buy in April, earn rewards in May.) So you still do have to have those extra 5 DBs. Also, just a reminder that you must have built and licensed a small Art & Culture before you can license a medium, and you must have a medium before a large, etc. Buying a medium cancels your small, and buying a large cancels your medium. (Which most of those reading this probably already know but I thought it would be good to keep in mind.
  21. Thanks all for the comments! Thank you! I was in a bit of a hurry to get this done or I would have liked to add a few more substantial stalls, but on the whole it turned out nicely crowded! For the last few March free-builds, approvals are still very much welcome. That's a good point about the cobblestone. Sometimes I forget the effects of weather. Thank you!
  22. Thank you everyone! That's Uncle. Thanks! Thanks Captain Dee! If something bad happened to Uncle, he would just hang the bad stuff from a palm tree and keep on going.
  23. Thanks! Yes, I'm afraid that despite his fine talk, Guy really just found a new toy. Perhaps Guy will suddenly find that electricity and such-like are beyond him (maybe after blowing a few things up... ).
