Quite a beautiful house; I love the river and bridge design!

I must say those gansters and bandits are impressive! I'm slightly surprised you didn't use any BA/BW's cowboy repeaters for your western figs.

Book II - Kaliphlin: Guild sign-up and Discussion
Nightstalker replied to SkaForHire's topic in Guilds of Historica
Which is why I check profile information (that and to see if people have MOC links). I just want to see what some of these smaller challenges are; there is no way I could compete on the scale that book I's challenges were. -
Collecting the Pieces- The Enchanted Pumpkin.
Nightstalker replied to Captain Settle's topic in Guilds of Historica
The build is pretty awesome! I really like the details of the background. The tudor style would probably look better on top though. I'm rather envious of your brick bricks and rather sad to see you lose your sword. Perhaps I could interest you in a new sword? I have talented smiths that are masters and great enchanters. -Djun -

*sigh* Curse my limited pieces and my limited school lighting! I think I'll just mention it now and pretty much forever (so please take note of the following bold statement) All of my pictures will be of terrible quality until I manage to get another light and additional pieces that are not being used in another MOC. That being said, I try my best with the stuff I have. I'd go outside, but my campus is generally wet from rain.

Amazing as always! How is the competition going anyways, the builds have been pretty spectacular.

Kaliphlin Guild: Homepage, Sign-up and Discussion
Nightstalker replied to Si-MOCs's topic in Guilds of Historica
! That explains a lot with the first challenge of book II being mentioned in the "Start Here" thread -
While some of our forces secured cleared a path, others decided to find a suitable staging area just outside of Eastgate. A small encampment of mercenaries rested about a mile outside. A detachment of shinobi was sent to deal with them; as always they completed their task. However, they always seem to be arguing about body removal duty. Of course, a small game of rock, paper, kunai can settle that dispute quickly. Our forces shall marshal here until it is time to attack. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Additional Pictures Hope you enjoyed the MOC. Task 3 will be started and finished next weekend. As usual C&C is always welcome and appreciated!!!

Raising the Dead- Clearing a Path
Nightstalker replied to Nightstalker's topic in Guilds of Historica
They are bandits, don't worry about it Unlike when I was at home, I have a single desk lamp to use for lighting, no car, and $0 to spend on light . Furthermore, on campus, it rains a lot. If I get the chance to pick up another light some day, I will, but as for now I just have poorly lit pictures. My apologies. -
Hey folks! I've been looking across the web for a rather simple dragon design, but have been unsuccessful at finding one. I'm looking to make a mid-sized one (in other words, not a huge one, but not a minifig scale, or mountable dragon). If anyone has links to one, or for that matter a tutorial on building one. That would be really cool. Again, not looking to steal a design, but more so try to find something simple I can slowly improve upon. Thanks!

And here I thought Kaliphlin had the most inventive minds. A hot air blower is a new one. Where to start... I like the snowy roof on the first build; it really has that realistic look! The recruitment office really did look like a piece of crap prior to being fixed up. Good job on the before and after. Along with that I like the view from the window The stove design is also really good as well. The mix of gray and dark-gray really give it that stony look. And the use of the pirate cannon is very creative too! The custom decals also add a nice sense of Mitgardian propaganda. Lastly, I find it funny that you spoke about getting rid of the snow and ice in the streets

Help with military figs.
Nightstalker replied to Legofin2012's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Well, for purist stuff I would look at the following chest pieces as well: That's if you're looking for more spec ops like torsos. For legs: Just a few suggestions for more spec-ops forces. And while I am aware you said purist, unfortunately TLG doesn't necessarily reproduce decent looking WWII or Modern weapons. If you have the time I'd look at http://www.minifigfo...ostore/main.php It's one of the resellers for Brickarms and some more modern minifig pieces. I also found this from the recent batman sets which could work well for modern also. Hope this helps -
Raising the Dead- Clearing a Path
Nightstalker replied to Nightstalker's topic in Guilds of Historica
I assume you're asking about the mask. It is From Brickforge. I thought it worked well for a masked samurai helmet. Expect most things I build for community events (or challenges) to have some blood in them. I think it is one of the more overlooked details in battle MOCs. -

Wonders of Historica: Siccus Aqueduct
Nightstalker replied to Kai NRG's topic in Guilds of Historica
This is a pretty sweet build! I think if you added some transparent pieces to the water, it could bring it more to life. It's great to see more Kaliphlin architecture! -
Lord Hseo and Yukino have been sent to clear the road. With any luck, you should have a relatively clear road (the road should look rather messy). The 122nd Legion will follow them and aid in the recapture or destruction of Eastgate. They are eager to move on and capture an outpost. -Djun ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Additional Pictures Hope you enjoyed the MOC. A build for Task 1: Raising the Dead- Family Heirloom As usual C&C is always welcome and appreciated!!!

I am currently in the process of returning a giant worm heart. I'll be back when I have it. -
I must say I like the chaos of this build! The minifig expressions also really add to the scene. Nice MOC
