I love how run down this MOC is. The bird is well designed, and the creative use of medusa parts is unique! Nice MOC

I really like your stone work and the tree in the courtyard. The water effects on the exterior of the castle are also pretty sweet! :thumbup:

Though we may be far from home, we are always willing to bring part of our culture with us. The Waygate of Fortune was one of the six waygates established at home. Legend has it, that those that pass through this gate at the sun's zenith will be blessed with great fortune. Many settlers have always found the blessing to be true, causing groups of citizens to wait for midday to pass under. Truth be told, I haven't heard of these Desert Kings, and I don't see a reason to support them. However, if assistance is needed my forces do have a standing army available to fight.

The first battle on the Dark Terrace brought a devastating defeat for the Fallgrad Alliance. Even with the combined might of the three kingdoms, the shambles of the dread army were still larger. Though they lacked the skill each soldier had, their numbers gradually brought them victory. With each man that fell in battle, the shambles numbers continued to increase. Unholy beings brought them back to serve the King. The Fallgrad Alliance was forced to retreat as a powerful blizzard engulfed the battlefield. Only a few held them back so the others could escape into the Shattered Forest. For starters, how big do you want it to be? Some castles are small (similar to the ones TLG makes), while some are rather huge. Furthermore, what colors are you planning on using to build it? If you're planning on modeling it after Vladek's castle, I would actually recommend stocking up on black/red or black/dark red pieces from bricklink.

Legions of orcs and trolls took up arms in the 4th era, under Warchief Temujin of the troll tribes. We thought that the treaty would appease them; after all, it restored the rest of their land to them. Under their previous warchief, peace was maintained, but even he knew the anger in his people. By now the King and Queen have received our report. Blood will be spilled over the land once more. We can only hope that we stall them for a little while; the Fallgrad army is on its way. *sigh* Due to lack of decals and other pieces I can't represent either of the figs accurately. My light set up is bad unfortunately, since I don't necessarily have the ability to use natural light at the moment (the weather has just been bad plus my house is right underneath a large tree). I pretty much just have a bunch of house lights to manipulate.
