  1. If LEGO had purple flowers they would be there instead of the cones.
  2. Thanks for the feedback! Actually they aren't even LEGO Here's the link: http://www.altbricks.com/cart/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1&products_id=52&zenid=b8238d57646164ca0023b30ab7430d9c

  4. Part 1: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=85468 The temperature dropped as Djun and Lukan entered the Emperor's chamber. Vibrant, purple flowers lit up, giving an alien atmosphere to the room. As the two approached the white tree in the back of the room, a small, magical flame lit up from the ashes in the central cistern. "Greetings," a low voice replied, "I am glad you arrived as quickly as you have." "Whatever you have to say is generally important to the safety of our people." Lukan replied. "Indeed, but what I have to tell you has nothing to do with our land or our people." The voice replied. Djun and Lukan looked at each other with a puzzled expression. "You have my full attention my lord." Djun answered. A small silence followed for several minutes before the voice replied, "Recently, one of our trade ships discovered something. They discovered a land, one that is very similar to our own. When the ship returned, the news spread to our mages, who sought the land out through the magic within it." "Where exactly does this leave us?" Lukan asked. "I sense that this land will be in trouble soon. A great power had fallen, and turmoil generally follows after the destruction of a great power. I want you to head to this foreign land and ensure peace is maintained." The two men stood in deep thought. Entering a foreign land meant being cut off from the empire. While peace was a noble goal, the odds would be against them. "Very well then. Provide a way for us travel, and we'll begin." Djun answered with a smirk. "Seek out the arcane mages, they will provide a way." With those last words, the flame disappeared and the room began to darken. Both men left, and made haste to the arcane quarters. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- MOC pictures Hope you enjoyed the MOC. I finally have "one" light to manipulate! As usual C&C is always welcome and appreciated!!!
  5. To add to that, some of the best thinkers (especially mathematicians) had great beards as well!
  6. Quick question: how do I establish a city? Do I need to pull up the map of Kaliphlin and mark where I'm building it (hopefully the micro MOC will be made this week)?
  7. So where does everyone stand on the situation in Avalonia? I've seen different opinions out there, but I'm just curious to know what the main body of Kaliphlin is thinking. I'm personally for attempting to find a peaceful solution, given the fact that we still have business with them (i.e. trading, at least I believe so), and cutting that off could actually hurt us as well. I can't say I'm down for conquering anything at the moment, especially seeing as how we don't necessarily have a standing army and even if we did, the backlash we could receive might be catastrophic. What's you all's opinion?
  8. Welcome Sir James! I hope you'll enjoy it here. I know I have for the moment. I encourage you to participate in the community build along with many others from the guild!
  9. Forgot to post here: Part 1 of my introduction builds for Djun Ko-Sun Imperial Garden Link: http://www.eurobrick...showtopic=85468
  10. Lukan's torso is Kai's torso from Same legs and chest, just with the judge robes and red riding hood's hood.
  11. This is a great MOC! I think it just needs a candle/lantern/some form of a light in it.
  12. "Strike hard! Knock him off balance!" Djun yelled. "Circle around your opponent! Don't let him push you into a corner!" Commander Wu yelled. It was merely another day of training soldiers. For now, the enemies of the empire had faded, and conquest had come to a stand still. Every once in a while, the 73rd Legion was called to patrol the desert lands, south of the empire, but nothing had ever shown up or bothered to attack them. He simply trained samurai for a threat that may appear one day. "Lord Wu," a female voice called, causing him and everyone in the garden to turn in attention, "pardon the interruption, but I have private business to discuss with Djun and Lukan." Lord Wu and the remaining samurai bowed, then departed from the garden. "Well Yoko," Djun began, "you have our attention." "The Emperor has summoned both of you, he said it was urgent." Djun paused in deep thought. Whatever the Emperor had to say to both of them had to be important. With no other options, the three exited the garden and made haste towards the Emperor's chamber. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- MOC pictures ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ I haven't properly introduced myself so I figured I'd tell you how I managed to arrive in this land. Hopefully you'll enjoy my short tale. <OOC> Anyways, I just picked up building after a one week break, and felt the need to put some Brickfair goodies to use. I also tried using the white light in my kitchen plus a nearby window until I can get a hold of some other lights. I'm not sure if the picture quality is good so feel free to let me know. Hope you enjoyed the MOC. As usual C&C is always welcome and appreciated!!!
  13. I have arrived to help! Fighting beside me is Lukan.
  14. Alright folks I have a super important question. Having looked over the MAC results (and having them mailed to me), I really need to get a better light set up. Unfortunately, I'm rather broke at the moment. Does anyone know of a decent light set up that won't cost me over $35? And using natural light is almost an impossibility with the recent rain in my state.
  15. Ooh! Masa has a story build going on. Once Brickfair is all finished up and I've assembled some minifigs and some other MOC's I'll definitely join up. As for leadership, I'm all for staying with our own leader or going for the idea of a council to run Kaliphlin during Flagg's absence. I may be new, but my opinion has to count for something right?
  16. I've never heard of this Zakon guy, but I sure know he isn't from Kaliphlin. I'd openly oppose him as it stands right now.
  17. *facepalm* I'm sorry I just have to laugh at that. Cool story
  18. That's a pretty good build actually. Simple, but it looks good. Possibly adding tiles to the top of the arch or some decorations could make the dragon area look more unique. Other than that, this is pretty good. Nice MOC
  19. Yet another cool, small build. Any chance you could post a pic without the dwarfs? I'd really like to see all the way to the back of the MOC.
  20. I can send some samurai to assist your men if needed. On another note, I actually will be able to bring my pieces with me to college, which means I can actually participate in small scale challenges and freebuilds in book II
  21. I really like the sea monster! It's one of the few mythical beasts I've seen in MOC's lately. Nice work
  22. 88 MOC's designed this summer, time to push for 100!

  23. The waterfall is a nice touch, I must admit
  24. Other than dirtying up the ground a bit, this is a really nice and compact MOC!
  25. I'll see about it. I guess it depends on how "small" most of these challenges actually are.
