  1. Guild Quest: Molthak the Ancient Members: Azshara Leyana Rank: S (Note: moved up to S rank, read explanation) This quest originally started as a C ranked quest. The guild was hired to escort a merchant, but it seems the quest changed dramatically. According to Azshara's report, rather than meeting a merchant, she found the remains of several warriors. Shortly afterwards, she was attacked by Molthak the Ancient, King of Worms. While the beast was not slain, she managed to repel the beast and report in. - Kain Talon, Guildmaster About Molthak the Ancient - Molthak is an ancient worm that is covered in the trappings of old battles. Netting and chains from those who tried to climb the beast are around the beast. This monster is very intelligent and has even donned the skulls of fallen hunters. Rumor has it that the key around its neck is the key to an ancient treasure buried in the Savadjik desert. -------------------------------------------------- Additional Pictures Hope you enjoyed the MOC. As usual... Decals by Saber-Scorpion C&C is always welcome and appreciated!!!
  2. Chapter 2: Remember to Carry a Bag At some point in your adventure, your going to find some very good loots; you may find it after searching through a forest, or you might just kill a ninja who ran off with some good equipment. It does not matter how you find it, if you keep up the adventuring lifestyle, it will happen one day. However, most adventurers do not think ahead! Think about this for a moment. You have your armor, weapon, a map, and other consumables on you. However, where are you going to carry the rest of your equipment? It is not like you have an invisible inventory or something. Remember, before setting out... Grab a bag, a set of pouches, a pack mule, or if you can afford one of those fancy bags of holding, get one! You will come across a lot of important items on your adventures, and you need a convenient way to hold them. This brings us to... Tip #12 - Carry a bag on you at all times. It is a simple way to ensure you do not leave anything important, and it allows you to pick up extra loot. Just remember not to over-encumber yourself, or it can lead to a quick death! -------------------------------------------------- Additional Pictures Hope you enjoyed the MOC. Stay tuned for more HNGK! As usual C&C is always welcome and appreciated!!!
  3. The sword is the Dervish sword from Brickwarriors.
  4. The Hislithian war room sat silent. One hour ago, a courier arrived, bringing news of the impending Nord attack. General Marcus, Commander Valcen, and the Hislith Champion, Edorin Gwyn crowded around the war room table. "Perhaps they'll use the forest. It will give them plenty of cover against our catapults." Marcus started. "I'm not so sure about that. Seeing as how the mountains are so close to the shoreline, there is nothing stopping them from bringing their own artillery and catching us off guard." Valcen replied. "Both of you do remember who we're fighting, right? These are Nords that follow Lokren and the Wintershield Guild. Any attacks they make will be on foot. Besides, have you forgotten that their artillery is gone? I know Lokren, they will come straight to our gates, and I say we meet them!" Edoring commented in an angry tone. "You seized two villages to get that artillery! Our job is simply to ensure the trade pact with Northshire is followed; we are not here to terrorize the locals." Marcus replied. "I specifically remember that you stopped me from pursuing them further into the mountains. Now look at this mess..." Edorin was cut off before he could continue. "Regardless of the past, we have a battle ahead of us; the soldiers have been rallied and are awaiting orders." Valcen stated. The General sigh before agreeing to Edorin's plan. Something seemed off to him, while the Nords hated Hislithian interference with their ways, they never decided to randomly attack. ------------------------------------------------ Additional Pictures Hope you enjoyed the MOC. As usual C&C is always welcome and appreciated!!!
  5. Thanks for the comments! I was formerly in Kaliphlin, but left GoH because I generally build small MOC's rather than big ones.
  6. Shortly after leaving the embassy, Djun and Lukan decide to visit an old friend in the Savadjik desert. ----------------------------------------------- Additional Pictures Hope you enjoyed the MOC. As usual... C&C is always welcome and appreciated!!!
  7. Quest #1: Breakout Rank: B Guild Members: Fenix Vae, Tera Mitsuna, Isaac Ryland The council of Faermoore has hired us to seek out two of their archaeologists. They were last seen in northern Altrairia, which more than likely means they have been captured. Thanks to some head knowledge from some of your guildmates, I have an idea where you can begin your search. Along the northwest coast of Altrairia lies Dungarc prison; if they are captured, they will more than likely be there. - Kain Talon, Guildmaster ---------------------------------------------------------------- Additional Pictures -------------------------------------------------- Hope you enjoyed the MOC. As usual Decals by Saber-Scorpion C&C is always welcome and appreciated!!!
  8. Hello and welcome adventurers. If you have not read HNGK Volume 1, go back and read it! If you have read it, I will assume that you are not dead, and have followed the tips in the first guide. I decided to write another volume as I traveled across these lands because many people were falling to obvious traps and other such things. Enough of my rantings, let's start with... Chapter 1: Mimicry Meet Stephen the warrior! Stephen is a highly skilled warrior, and has several months of adventuring underneath his belt. His strength and endurance are to be admired, and he has also completed many a quest. He is also rather dexterous as well, which means he has been able to avoid some traps and deadly situations. All in all, he is a well rounded adventurer. For his next quest, he was assigned to investigate... This dungeon. Upon entering it, Stephen noticed a treasure chest on the other side of a small fire. He was so overwhelmed by easy treasure, that he never noticed the large pools of blood, the bones, the rusty axe, or any of the other creepy signs. As he approached the chest, he noticed it was locked. Lucky for him, he had an extra skeleton key lying about. However, as he opened the chest... He was surprised to see a fleshy tongue and teeth. He went for his weapon as fast as possible... But the mimic was much faster and devoured him. Poor Stephen was caught off guard, and paid the price. But the mimic was simply happy to have another meal, and get a new helmet! This brings me to: Tip #11: Beware of the obvious signs of a trap! Had Stephen seen the piles of bones and blood pools, he would have suspected a trap. Remember, paying attention to surroundings can save your life... especially when it comes to mimics (who really love devouring adventurers). ----------------------------------------------------------- Additional Pictures Hope you enjoyed this MOC. As usual C&C is always welcome and appreciated!!!
  9. Lokren was always proud of his daughter, Tywind. For years, he had trained her to fight among even the best of Nord warriors. With the recent interventions by the Kingdom of Hislith, he knew that she might one day be forced to go to war beside her kinsmen. However... He did not find her completely ready for battle. "Keep a tighter grasp on your sword!" He had caught her off guard; if this had been a Hislithian soldier, they would have killed her, he thought. As the young woman walked over to retrieve her sword the door to the room burst open. Blackfang, Lokren's second in command, rushed in with an urgent report. "Guildmaster the signal fire is lit! Furthermore we've found a dead body near Hroskar." This was a bad omen; Lokren knew that war was coming, but not so soon. "Tywind, gather the rest of the guildsmen and prepare yourselves. Blackfang and I will investigate the signal fire at Hroskar." Tywind nodded then departed. Upon arriving at the fire, Lokren and Blackfang found the body of a young child along with a baby boy in a basket. "Those Hislithian dogs would dare kill a child!" Lokren said in an angered tone. Blackfang began to examine the shores of Northshire. "Sir, the fires are lit along the shore. It won't be long until they attack." Lokren grabbed the corpse and the baby then the two departed back to the main hall. It was time to head to battle. ------------------------------------------------------------- Additional Pictures Hope you enjoyed the MOC's! 10. Djun and Lukan get ready to depart from the embassy to embark upon an adventure. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Additional Pictures Hope you enjoyed the MOC. I'm back for the summer and plan to do more builds following these two. Unfortunately, I did not have tiles to make the floor smooth, so my apologies. As usual C&C is always welcome and appreciated!!!
  11. Although magic is a very dangerous force, sometimes it can be used to entertain the masses. ------------------------------------------------------- Additional Pictures I'll be back to regular MOC'ing in a week and a half. Unfortunately, college life is rather hectic late semester. Hope you enjoyed the MOC. As usual C&C is always welcome and appreciated!!!
  12. I really like the roof of this build!
  13. I'm really liking your small builds! The waterfall in this is pretty cool. The tree design is also decent. You could try making the trunk a bit more sturdy looking by adding 1x1 reddish brown cylinders around the "stick" piece.
  14. The cyclops fig positioning is pretty good! His facial expression is flawless. You might want to cover up the holes in the tree, but that's just my $0.02. Keep up the good work
  15. The sideways rocks look pretty solid. The top area where the trees are seem like they could use a bit of overhang; it is really smooth compared to the rest of the terrain. Solid first attempt though
  16. My prayers go out to you and your family.
  17. If you have any angled plates, those can help with the transition of colors for landscapes. If you are looking for trees check this link: http://inspiredbrick.blogspot.com/2012/09/falworth-tree-design-tutorial.html The MOC is pretty good! I really like the scattered bones to give the worn battle look. Keep it up!
  18. The lights mixed with the white/blue color scheme are fantastic! It really does capture that cyberpunk feel. Nice MOC
  19. Sometimes the wanderers of the desert are lucky to find an oasis. ------------------------------------------------------------- Additional Pictures Just got my bricks from home so I felt the need to build something. Hope you enjoyed the MOC. As usual Decals by Saber-Scorpion C&C is always welcome and appreciated!!!
  20. Feels like forever since I posted here. It also seems like I've missed a ton of builds. How's it been with Challenge 1 underway?
  21. I really like the story and that cliff. You have some really impressive builds, keep it up
  22. Nice hectic pile. I really like the use of flippers for the roof top.
  23. Another guildhouse update. Here we go! Fifth Floor: GM bedroom and Servant's Quarter The guildmaster's bedroom I tried to cram as much detail as possible into this room. After all, the GM does have his own room (along with his wife), while the rest of the guild members have to share bedrooms (6th Floor, not yet started). I rather enjoyed making this part of this floor specifically. Hallway Just the hallway separating the two rooms, and providing access to the next or previous floor. I tried my hand at making several wall decorations just to fill up the area. Also note that the portals are not the same as previous floors. I might go back and revise them later, but I like how they turned out. Servant's Quarters There are 11 beds for the servants (12th servants maintains the stable outside and has his own small home). Artwork and tapestries hand from the walls. A fireplace, dresser w/ mirror (will probably look for a reflective sticker), bookshelf, table, and chairs are also placed in assorted locations in the room. I also felt the need to place end tables with lanterns in between each bed. Again, I tried putting as much detail as possible. Additional Hallway pic That's about it for the fifth floor. A little over 4 years worth of work, and I'm almost finished with this MOC (which will probably still be a WIP in the long run). Hope you enjoyed the MOC. As usual Decals by Saber-Scorpion and Brickforge. C&C is always welcome and appreciated!!! Link to Overall Guildhouse: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=83690
  24. That is quite the wall; you may want to add some additional colors for more details, but it is pretty impressive as it is. The minifig collection is pretty darn big as well.
  25. Didn't see that one coming! Well I'm going to be interested to see how this all ends; hopefully, it won't end with Mark being dead. Anyways, great MOC's
