  1. First of all i started playing with LEGO bricks again only five months ago. During December i was looking for the Millinium Falcon set on the internet for my youngest son, cause he wanted it for christmas. I came to look at some stunning MOCs which likes i had never thought possible. Also we always watch all the Lord of the rings movies during christmas, so i made a search for LOTR LEGO also. And i found some even more stunning builds. Then i just had to convince my kids to put their LEGO together, and we builded 2 diffrent Death Stars. Then i was out of my dark age. Now, until a month ago i thought that my dark age had only lasted some 22 years. But having recovered my LEGO and instructions i realised that i had been away from LEGO for some 27-30 years. I can only thank MOCpages for coming back and once again enjoying these delicious tiny plastic bricks possibilities. Good times good times. :)
  2. Oh .... lol ..... Sorry, i first of all thought pictures were posted along the post as they got found, so i only checked the last 3 pages. Second im not much of a Star Wars fan myself, but i wanted to "share what i thought were news" ..... My mistake. :P
  3. Found these pictures on MOCpages of what is to be upcoming sets. The pictures are very low resolution though. Maybe its interesting for some of you anyways. :) New star wars sets.
  4. That bathtube is such a cool technique. I so love it. Sorry for offtopic, just had to mention it. :P
  5. Ive been looking through recent posts and havent found this anywhere, so i figured i would post it. Forgive me if it has already been posted somewhere else.:) So CUUSO have their final blog out on guidelines for how to get a better chance of having a succeding project AFTER having collected the 10.000 supporters. The blog is quite long so i will only leave a link. Link to CUUSOO official blog. For me this means that my Doctor Who project and everyone elses who dreamth of LEGO making official Doctor Who have been shot to pieces. I must admit that i had a slight hope though, since other licenses such as Pirates of the caribbean and Marvel were owned by other companies before LEGO bought them back or got them otherwise. Some quotes from my project that got my hopes up high again after having found out that a license was already given for Doctor Who merchandise: Quote: GlenBricker Megablock had Pirates of the Caribbean AND Marvel and Lego got them back. Actually Lego had Marvel, then Mega, then Lego. As long as the IP is not owned by a competitor (My Little Pony, D&D, etc...) it really does not matter. Licenses come and go and often have strange exclusions. Quote: Rucorder1 I believe the licence isn't too much of a problem. There are dozens of other companies that produce Marvel superhero toys, yet Lego got the licence for that. This is not a thread to promote my own project in any way, i have sort of given up on it unfortunately after having read the official statement. As a sidenote i would like to mention that i found the news here on brick fanatics.
  6. Currently awaiting PLASTIC surgery ! :P

  7. This looks awesome. Pretty good preview also, though i personally would have liked more and bigger pictures. Still, well done. :)
  8. Oh sorry then. Never read anything about that. Then again ive never been much into minecraft, but my youngest son is and his birthday is coming up, so offcourse he should have this set. Thanks for the info though. I will have to get it from Amazon then, if no one else have better advise on how to purchase it fast for destination Denmark. Thanks again for the quick reply and info. :)
  9. Awesome ! All the jeeps and the vietnamese camp are lovely. So is the whole of the terrain. Well done . :)
  10. Anybody knows the reason why the official LEGO site doesnt have any info or sales of the minecraft product ? Being from Denmark i ( stupid as i am ) actually believed that i would be able to buy this for my son 1st of june, but my only option seems to be buying it from amazon, which i rather wont since i always buys my LEGO sets from local shops or directly from TLG. I also must say that im quite impressed with the set, having had no interest in minecraft and thought it would like a basic set with only ordinary bricks. This concept looks fine and gives one a lot of diffrent small bricks good for a lot of MOC´s. Anyhow , thanks in advance. :)
  11. Welcome. Its the best of addictions. These tiny LEGO bricks shall not be sniffed, and stay off the ROCK ... I know it doesnt make sense. Just wanted to tell you welcome to Eurobricks. :)
  12. And i thought i saw all the entrances for the MOCathalon. Never saw this though. Very cool build. To me its fine that its a bit blocky, i honestly feel like it works very well in that scale. Very nice MOC indeed. :)
  13. Im not much into Pokemon, but this build is extremely well made. Lovely techniques and the figures just looks stunning. The overall feel of colours is also very convinsing. Very well done. :)
  14. Definately the explanation i would go for. Also, i would rather see the LEGO company use their resources on totally new features such as bricks, equipment for minfigs, new torsoes than simply making an eye look diffrent on an already compatible head for a fig. Great explanation there Faefrost.
  15. Those marines looks awesome. The color scheme to me is perfect. :)
  16. Seriously. Im not that much into submarines and battleships, but i do admire a good build. This is beyond awesome. Great deails, wise techniques, awesome pictures. Well done. :)
  17. Awesome vignette. I love how the ladder seems to levitate a bit over the cauldron. (Wether its on purpose or not ). ;) Great build. :)
  18. This looks very cool. Great color scheme. :)
  19. I like the set. But the price does seem way to high. Great review though. :)
  20. Great pictures can often tell a story without words. This is one of those stories. Lovely work. :)
  21. These are cool. Especially the icecream truck. Really like the color scheme for that. Great job. :)
  22. Awesome. The speed is incredible. I would have thought that the wagon would fall of at those speeds. Incredible technique. Most have taken some time to put together. Anyhow very well done. Cant wait to se V2 of it. ( There will be a V2 right ? ... You really should make one ) :)
  23. Just looked thruogh that link quickly since im in a hurry. But for sure i have time for a quick reply. That is simply awesome ! ... I recall i really really wanted some of those as a kid but never got them. Im gonna visit that link again as soon as i find the time. Thanks for sharing !! :)
  24. lol .... Lovely piece usage !!! :D
  25. Wow, never came across this post even though i thought that ive read your Two towers post correctly ( Which i obviously hadnt cause i havent seen the link till today. ) These sets are good stuff. Very very well done. :)
