Book II - Kaliphlin: Guild sign-up and Discussion

No, other than Challenges (next scheduled challenge is set in Avalonia), you are free to make up your own stories and adventures. Another fun thing to do if you have the time is to team up with another GoH member or two and combine stories. -
Book II - Kaliphlin: Guild sign-up and Discussion

Welcome to Kaliphlin guys! The Kaliphlin Council is currently renovating quite a few of its older towns and cities as well as establishing a few new ones. Everyone needs a good place to kick back and relax after an adventure, so I highly recommend building your characters a home base that can be expanded/modified as your characters' story progresses. -
Really cool MOC! And that cart is the icing on the cake!

Brethren of the Brick Seas?
Mike S replied to Admiral Croissant's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
I totally agree with ZCerberus. Perhaps the reason why people are confused about GoH is because they are making it more complicated than it really is. The overarching story is quite easy to follow as it progresses quite slowly so I really can't understand how anyone can get confused by it as it all is easy to find within the first page of stickied topics. Everything else are GoH member's own individual stories that are NOT required to read to keep up with to stay up to date GoH even though they do often relate to the overarching story. As far as starting another GoH knockoff for the pirate theme, I think instead it would be better to add an "expansion" so to speak to GoH. I think some people take Lego building too seriously and instead of using their imagination they want to make a simulator which will get boring very fast. With a little imagination, I'm sure someone could come up with a fairly satisfactory reason for guns and cannons to exist beside swords and spears. At least in many other fantasy media there never seems to be a problem. -

I totally understand about wanting to get a build done so you can stop thinking about it! I got to remind myself sometimes when I get a bit stressed because I haven't completed a certain build that I have no real deadline for it. The point is to enjoy the process just as much as the finished product. I hadn't realized we had lost anybody to LCC. Then again I haven't really paid much attention to LCC. I really don't see any perks to LCC over GoH. -

Lego is my only hobby. Although some may consider my activities of fishing, gardening, and racquetball as hobbies, I consider them essential for sustainability. I have several builds that have been waiting on the February 8th Bricklink order that hopefully will arrive by tomorrow. Then finding time to photograph them after they are finished while I work two jobs, go to school full time and have a second child on the way... -

Great ending to this part of Dugal's story! Also great idea for the dual purpose build. -

Good to see you back even if only for a few minutes. I know how it is with finding time for Lego at times. Also completely in the same boat as you and your Mpya Stedor plans with my Aden's Gate plans. I have several modules in various stages of production and should have one up here soon. -
My thinking exactly...

Kaliphlin Community Build- Sultan's Gate
Mike S replied to Erynlasgalen's topic in Guilds of Historica
I ordered and paid for a Bricklink order on February 8th which still has not been shipped yet. This order had all the pieces I needed to finish my Sultan's Gate build. Unfortunately, seeing the date and knowing that the order still has not shipped, I highly doubt I will make the deadline.- 63 replies

Well I'm not sure he would be considered a spy as he doesn't pretend to work for Nocturnus. He would be more of an invader warlord I'd say. Anyway I still would like a positive answer on this before I work any further.

Great build! Love that tree!

Awesome idea and nice builds!

Nice boat and excellent job on the sail!

Thanks guys! Thanks! Masa hasn't come across any of the Nocturnus Resistance yet.... Thanks! Masa figured that eventually he would ruffle some some Black Spire feathers but didn't expect so soon. This sure must have been an important caravan to the Black Spire. Yep, Black Spire pawns.

Nice characters and great job with the first photo! Goes to show that good photography can compensate for simpler builds. I still can't quite get the hang of it since most of the time my builds look so much better in RL than in the photos.

Brilliant design for the color striping!

This is the best sci-fi stuff I've seen in a long time. Every single one is simply amazing!

I just realized that my Open Season build would fit perfectly for Stage 2 if I was a Nocturnus. If non-Nocturnus members participate, is a foreign warlord operating in Nocturnus count?
