  1. Why would you assume we would come by land across Devil's ridge? More ships are a coming I've heard.
  2. I never went to UoP... I've heard of Orographic rain somewhere in my travels. But I sure never heard of it lasting every single day of the year. I guess soon enough all the valleys will be flooded and all that will remain of Mitgardia will be ice capped islands...
  3. You've got some pretty great postcards here! Nice job!
  4. Most excellent idea for training!
  5. These are really great modules! Looking forward to seeing the rest!
  6. Looking forward to seeing these builds....
  7. You aren't telling me the sun never shines in Mitgardia now are you? I'd hate to have to start calling you guys Noctardians....
  8. Excellent color scheme and architecture! I do however agree with Ska that the narrow gates would not be conductive to a well traveled trade route.
  9. Nah, we would just bring a bunch of heliotropes with us and come on a sunny day.
  10. Happy Masa: Masa Face2 by -Mike S-, on Flickr Thinking Masa: Masa Face1 by -Mike S-, on Flickr And while I'm at it: Masa has given all his vassals their freedom as well as dividing up his wealth among them so that they all would be able to make a decent life of their own here in Kaliphlin. The only vassals who remain with Masa are the four servants that Lord DaMaximus gave him. Here is Masa with his wife and the four vassals from Lord DaMaximus. The Kalores helm is used by the three vassals who are melee combatants: House of Kalores by -Mike S-, on Flickr And finally a new character whom I plan to be taking a major role in my storytelling. Rafael D'Oro, a Varlyrian loyal to Bishop Jamon who has come to Kaliphlin at his request. He and his men are plants within the Varlyrian horde that has come to Historica with the purpose of keeping Bishop Jamon abreast of their activity and plans: Rafael D'Oro and Company by -Mike S-, on Flickr
  11. Looks fun! Thanks for organizing this!
  12. Looks like I'm slacking! I better get chatting....
  13. No, I created Okatowan instead so you can free it up if you want. Aden's Gate will probably need some geography additions/changes mainly a river flowing down out of the northeastern mountains with a waterfall where it empties into the bay which the Zenagi River also empties into.
  14. @NM- Aden's Gate needs to be added to the south central map. Also the druid ruins can probably be added as well. @TheUtilityBelt32- If you want a new city/town then add a dot to the map. Unlike Avalonia, we here in Kaliphlin don't map out kingdoms as it would require a fortune in bricks in order to represent one. To better comprehend minifig scale suppose that each stud equals one foot. that would mean that it would require 5280 studs to equal 1 mile.
  15. Now isn't that the truth! Let me start listing mine... nevermind, I don't have the time right now.
  16. Here is a proselytized band of Varlyrian Leander who now fight under the banner of the Knights of Aslan and for Kaliphlin. Leander Band by -Mike S-, on Flickr
  17. I don't use the "helmets" of any Chima fig except for masks. Being humanoid, I don't see the point in distinguishing their head shapes any more than "human" minifigs, so all my Chima figs wear normal minifig hats and hair. An example of the lions would be my Puss no Boots character. I need to post a pic of my Leander regiment.
  18. Is there a way we could get all our sigfigs portraits displayed on the first post? Maybe we can have a unified effort to post our sigfigs on a certain day in this thread so that skaforhire can easily add them to the first post? I know at least one sigfig has been updated so it would be nice to review what everyone's sigfig currently looks like.
  19. Or the Nestland clans could be descendants of the Avalonian eagles. Or they could be related but yet a different race (like golden eagle, bald eagle, etc.) I'm sure that every race can be found in all the guilds but like you said rarity will differ. I can't imagine the croc race being in Mitgardia due to the cold but they are found in Nocturnus even perhaps more so than in Kaliphlin. Also I imagine rarity will change in the guilds as members of the different races migrate to different places for various reasons.
  20. Same here. Most of your list seems the same as mine as well. A couple of differences would be that I have been using the Chima Lions (which you didn't list) as a Varlyrian race called the Leander and I always thought of the Chima eagles as a Kaliphlin tribe from the Nestlands.
  21. Love the colors on this!
  22. Nice details on the ruined wall!
  23. The squid is excellent! I also like the idea of the underwater city....
  24. Thanks for the comments! @Gideon- The previous editions of the KT were done so long ago I didn't even think about linking to them.
