I'll echo MKJoshA. I think the reason why it may seem a bit off is because we do not see the actual game mechanics. For instance, not one NPC trader got caught so it appears that there weren't many NPC traders which is not the case. Also, as time goes on, and more DBs are accumulated, the whole MRCA dynamic will probably become more engaging.

I also want to have confirmation on this as well as being able to do 2 MRCA result builds, one for each of my ships. Also I was thinking of doing a micro build of one of the pirate ship runins, so wanted to make sure that was acceptable as well. If my understanding is correct, I can get a guaranteed 40dbs from builds this month: 2 standard freebuilds and 2 MRCA builds....

If you wish to join a convoy with either the Black Marlin or the Sulky Harlequin, please sign up here asap so that we can have plenty of time to get travel routes and escort info to participants before the deadline. Edit: If you are Corrington and wish to convoy, sign up here as well no matter your ship speed. Edit 2: Please state whether you want your ship to go on a high risk or medium risk route. Low risk is basically staying in a single zone, so will not be an option for Crown ship escorted convoys. Thanks for the answer! As far as the ship, by all means add it to our fleet. If needed, Coyle Shipping Company can help pay for its upkeep.- 897 replies

"Some traces of gold have been found on Tiberia, but not enough to be a fully functional mining economy." Does this mean that I cannot have a mine on Tiberia?- 897 replies

Captain Aiden Coyle sends his condolences. The Appleseed was too fine of a ship to meet such an early death.

Thanks! Yes Captain Coyle believes that knowledge is the most valuable asset one can obtain from the natives. Thanks! Haha, yeah I got addicted into BoBS more than I had hoped. Strangely, BoBS has quickly become my main attraction here on EB.... Thanks! Thanks you! I'm trying to add a bit more color to my builds now....

Thanks so much for the comments! -
Another lovely ship from you! Nice water too!
-
Brilliant architecture! I love how you designed the building to transform from square to round to accommodate the dome! Nicely done!
-
Great to see you finally back here on EB! Awesome build as usual!

It was only a matter of time before BoBS got a printing press... Nicely done!

Nicely done! I've been contemplating doing a similar build with those panels... -
Like others have said, the hull looks pretty sweet but the fore and aft castles dominate the pics. I also think the main problem here is the abrupt color change from hull to castle. Perhaps a matching brown castle with a green striping would have worked better?

Thank you! Thanks! The purple represents Plectranthus scutellarioides. As jungles often have colors other than various shades of green, especially for ground cover, I thought it was appropriate, and the reason I placed it on the lowest layer.

The log of Captain Aiden Coyle. January 27: We have gone ashore on the island we first discovered but there appears to be yet a larger landmass to the south. The temperature here is pleasantly warm and the foliage is of the most vibrant colors I have ever seen. As soon as we landed, we made straightway for the large structure that rose above the treeline. However we were forced to stop before we had even come near the place. The island is evidently inhabited and while the natives we encountered were seemingly primitive in weaponry, they were evidently a society of skilled craftsmen for I saw their clothing contained an elaborate weave and they wore finely sculptured ornaments of gold. We left several sabres on the ground before them as a token of our goodwill and retreated to the beach since it was apparent that the natives did not want us to advance farther even though we could not understand their language. We will make camp on the beach as I am hoping the natives will attempt further communication with us. END OF ENTRY

Very fitting for its location! Like Sir Stig said the atmosphere has a dark, damp, and cold feeling to it. Nice work!

Wow! Love the design of this ship! Nice work!

Looks like a fine ship and it is good to have a variety of colors other than variants of red and black! I think that remaining on a top shelf unfinished would be a waste of such a beauty...- 897 replies

Settlement: Arlinsport, Tiberia, Corrington
Mike S replied to SkaForHire's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
I think this description should be placed in the first post: "Corrington’s farthest and only colony in the Sea of Storms is Tiberia. Its provincial capital is Arlinsport, named after Queen Annetta’s father, King Arlin II. Arlinsport is known for its robust defenses and deep harbor, but it is the only such port on all of Tiberia. The majority of the island is still not tamed by Corlanders, but the island is already home to a makeshift rum industry, thanks to sugar smuggling from LeBellan to the south. The national drink of Corrington has become rum quite quickly. Some traces of gold have been found on Tiberia, but not enough to be a fully functional mining economy. Because it is one of the only Sea of Storms islands that lie outside of the warm temperate zone, it cannot grow cash crops. This means that Arlinsport is mostly a stopover for merchants going to the richer, foreign ports to the south. Although Arlinsport resembles a normal, orderly Corlander city, most of the settlements on the island are makeshift in their permanency, and thus come in all different shapes and sizes."
