  1. With double CLAAS tires and you'll need a special place to display it
  2. @mocbuild101 This is also good philosophy
  3. Inner diameter of tire will not be the same, so you want be able to use tires with wheel racing medium. Porsche and 8448 wheels will only work with "deformed" tire. I've tried this with 8448 wheel and additional 81,6 baloon tire inside 94,8 baloon. So I've ended with more narrow 102mm tire instead of 94,8 and with pain in fingers, so it will not be happy ending, trust me
  4. I don't think such big vehicle has 4 cylinder engine in real world. Usually 4 cylinder engines have up to 230Hp and think this is not enough
  5. Thank you for your honest intebtions, but I know that possibility. The reason to use link is that some browsers automaticaly put focus on box and instead scrolling current topic, you're scrolling box content.
  6. You're welcome, I also forgot to mention gearbox topic
  7. I know the feeling - when you need some changes to steering or gearbox, than very often chassis reconstruction is the only option - that is nature of evolution
  8. Very impressive, small and beautiful Great idea with rubber tracks
  9. As I already said, very nice simple gearbox
  10. Nathaniel's car is simply the best when we look at models that have engine in front of rear axle and transmission beg+hind rear axle like most of the sports cars (with rear engine) have; of course instead of Lamborghini and Porsche as most known brands and other less known... Transmission especially is particularly interesting and its functionality is something that is most similar to real cars so far seen in mocs. Big thumb up for Nathaniel
  11. If only I could be so fast in building my mocs, every-time something happens and leaves me with unfinished business for particular day, so I have to make to-do list over and over again... That is nice to see that builder is satisfied with work (of art)
  12. I understand now; something like "Fat and furious" instead of "fast and furious" But front part wit motor for steering looks a bit bulky
  13. I see, trying to use "best" elements to make some perfection - something like sportscar designing in 1950s
  14. But for supercar you have to change tires, baloon ones are not perfect supercar tires
  15. Now when I put my Bella (terrier) to sleep (like on my profile image), I'll make some notes about Unimog project... For model that I plan driving shaft goes from gearbox to differential at the side of engine, so all drivetrain is very low (real car is some 107cm heigh and with 5 liter engine in front of rear axle). Enjoy in your project development which has to be finished before 24 Hours race
  16. Model that is in my future plan has gearbox exactly like 8448 set, but I'll make studless version... Similarities with your model are rear longitudional engine and rear wheel drive... Thank you for permission
  17. True it looks fat with that motor at the front, but it is simple, fast and functional as we can see. Cool idea to make simple rc vehicle. I never though about making kart as rc model
  18. Today I've made 2.5 axles from old bended axle 6 to test this front axle In the picture (for photographic purposes) is used axle 2 from 851 set with differential. It works very well with this "modified" axles. To make round sticker from square is not a unusual thing...so I do not see it as something bad
  19. Nice and (IMHO) simple solution and do not worry about stickers. ...it reminds me that I plan another project in the future that will include one special supercar, but that is something for future (in few years because I need some panels in color not available at the moment...)
  20. Perhaps this link could help https://brickset.com/parts/6170153/worm-gear-1-module-for-angled-gear
  21. I will certanly survive next few minutes to see it , so take your time
  22. That is great price for Williams F1
  23. Hope that pictures will be published soon
  24. Now I have profile picture, but back to topic (again)
  25. As former software developer I can only say when you stop improving your models then project is dead. It was pleasure following development of such huge project. Ball loading problem is probably next challenge I can only repeat myself - very nice
