  1. 2H sets are available (from yesterday) here in Croatia: 42068 - 96€ 42069 - 140€ 42070 - 270€ ...everything else but cheap and as I know saleamans, here price drops after 2 years and only if box is damaged so they can not return the set. This is the way I bought 42000 for 50€ or Arocs for 130€...but 42069 is really tempting...
  2. I also have only one green moc finished and parts for a half second one...
  3. I understand what you mean. My Unimog project was started about year ago and then I've founded out that 68.8 x 24 tires are to soft for planned vehicle weight. With new combibation (62.4 x 20 tire on 32004a wheel) I got oportunity to make more narrow axle, so decision was made to make smaller model 1:18 which will enable to (finaly) finish one desired systems tractor when LEGO relieses 95mm tractor tire There are some other projects on them I currently work but will probably have few weeks without LEGO first Regards and keep my fingers crossed for your U4023 project
  4. Well the beauty is in the eye of beholder, so don't worry
  5. @jotta93 It is nice to see something different . We have only green here
  6. So far it looks simple and sturdy . Every fifth moc is finished - that is a good prototype development
  7. I'm not that rational, when I try to recycle I usualy broke ore damage some connectors , so it is better for me (from now on) to keep mocs in piece.
  8. Thank you; all of you; @jorgeopesi, I'm always trying to make moc realistic. For Unimog I was not 100% sure so I decided to open new topic. And indeed smaller models are more playable and enjoyable as you mentioned with your mid size dump truck. Other thing is that I like mocs with realistic tire pattern like you decided and not universal baloon ones that are very rare in reality. Other thing that I hate when moc is to wide and looks like from tv show "pimp my..."...About shots below; there is one question - what is the point of presenting yor (generaly speaking) work if you hide most important solutions; teasing, or something worse? You also take photo of every important detail on your moc and discous it because this is the point of such forum @Leonardo da Bricki I really respect your compliments and politness as ever. I'm very glad that you like it. If you want (after I make some small changes on rear axle) I can make photos of this (3rd version) and upload them here. Thank you for assistant during Mog development. @Victor Imaginator thank you very much. I was trying to make simplest and realistic model, so I've decided to make Implement carrier and not offroader like U4023, because LEGO does not have correct tire pattern for bigger model. How is you work progressing?
  9. Actually model should not be to heavy because there is no complicated chassis for it and it will use gearbox for front and rear pto; despite that real thing has hydraulic valves at the front and rear. As you know we can not simulate hydraulic pumps and motors with LEGO parts...I'm glad that you find "wheel head" setup interesting - it was only way to make something like on real one. You can see here ...sorry for bad photos
  10. Here is final version where I (finally managed) to make axles with 17 studs width, so for future (planned) projects I do not have to stretch CLAAS tires There will be probably some small improvements on rear axle, but not so soon On images below you ca see what I mean (using liftarms as some kind of measurement tool) Image with open hood to show changes in cab tilting solution which is now very similar to 8110 set Image with closed hood Rear view showing 17 studs rear axle width and few images showing side view with 25 studs wheelbase ...and some belly shots showing both front and rear axles with 17 studs width ..it seems that this project impresses even me, so despite all other projects I got some idea got improvements from time to time
  11. Just small info about this project - it is not dead and will be finished, but I need some parts so I'm waiting for them and assume that in few weeks I'll able to continue on Sprayer.
  12. That is very useful
  13. Well, we have Uninog tires, lots of white panels and who said that this truck has to be flag/p ship ...
  14. You sound reasonable, without (even spy) photos we can only speculate...or worse make a wishlist topic of it
  15. And I thought I'm seeing wrong even if I did not drink anything
  16. Send him (Sander Mulder) a PM
  17. ...hm... perhaps in 42068?
  18. @cloud this solution looks good
  19. Yellow are hard and light bluish gray are soft (that is the reason for different colors). Miha, you did evrrything what is dooable with shocks
  20. Cool to see sprayer in nature. Lights are just nice touch at the end
  21. After two extreme busy days I finaly have time to read a review. I can only say what most members already said - really outstanding review. The only thing that I can add to review is actually usage of tent in icy conditions; researchers use them to save themselves from wind or extra bad weather conditions when excavating things like fossils etc Photos with tires are so great that now I prefer model with Unimog tires on silver rims (instead of treds). About eventual typing errors in review I do not bother. I'm making more typing errors using my smartphone then the rest of Eurobricks members, so who am I to complain about this Thanks for great review. It was pleasure reading it
  22. Agree After whole day of playing with fire woods (ok have to store them) it is time to enjoy your review Now I feel honnored that someone respected my suggestion for pinning topics dealing with reviews. Thanks
  23. Exactly. You have to be open for possibilities
