So, what are the odds of a new UCS Millennium Falcon, or even an updated release of 10179. I thought I had read rumors about it, but all I read is plans for a regular MF, since 7965 is quite old already...

Lego and Big Parts: How necessary are they?
merman replied to Dharkan's topic in General LEGO Discussion
the boat parts, like the ones used for the Sea Cow are okay I guess... But I agree, these big parts are awful. Looks like Playmobil... -
I wonder what the kid looks like now. And did anybody EVER win from filling out this questionnaire?

Now, I have always wondered at what point it is more interesting to build a set with your own parts and ordering missing parts from TLG or Bricklink. The situation now occurs with 42030 Volvo Frontloader. I have about 90% of the parts and have little space and too much parts. I have all the PF-elements, but of course not the big bucket, the green engine parts and the yellow wheels. Now, these are the most expensive parts I need to order (assuming I can actually order the bucket, which may be licensed and therefor not sold separately by TLG). All other parts are rather small and insignificant. But then again: ordering missing parts is relatively espensive with shipping costs and price per part. Buying a whole set may give your more parts you already have, but is relatively cheap (assuming you can afford the whole set). So what is, to you from experience, the turning point? When is it better to buy just missing parts and when do you buy the whole set even though you have 90% of the parts? And of course nothing beats brand new Lego and a brand new box :)

Technic 2H2014 Reviews

Does it use the 'old' wormgears? Can you post pics of the inventory please? -
Own them all: Café Corner I bought from the French Amazon just before prices got sky high. Then I bought all the other Modulars. 10190 Market Street is the only one I bought used... Funny thing is: I never considered MS to be an official one, because I didn't have it :) Now that I own it I consider it an official one. My exhibits: - It is pictures with the other ones in the instruction booklets and boxes - it is features in the Mini Modulars.

How easy is it to feel the minifigs heads? Wiggum. Millhouse and Grampa all have a 2x2 tile as accessory...- 118 replies

Some of my pix. Not of the best quality because I took them with my iPad. Never mind the mess in my small house. The soda can shows the size of the vessel.

LEGO parts made of Chinese plastic?
merman replied to Henchmen4Hire's topic in General LEGO Discussion
So were the Simpsons parts, especially the heads, produced in China? I thought the quality of the heads was very good! -
I used an iPad4 with retina screen.

does anyone know what the thing is on the top shelf of Bart's bedroom cupboard? It consists of a headlight brick, a round plate, a 1x2 plate and a 1x2 tile. What is it supposed to be?

Strangely enough the instructions of the new Technic Cargo Plane 42025 are extremely sharp...

To save space on my small table I decided to build Technic set 42009 from my iPad. The quality of the online instructions is very poor. I know this has been brought up many times, but this time I could hardly keep several black parts (black beams and pins) apart. Could the embassadors please discuss this with TLG? It will get even worse when old sets are no longer available for purchase. If an instruction booktlet gets missing it will become very difficult to build from digital instructions...

8482 vs. 8483
merman replied to DrJB's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Brickset says about 8483: Same as 8482 but packaged in an aluminum look-alike case
