    is it just me, or are Technic sets getting less and less complex? I like gears. And pneumatics are nice but it also means less gears so less complexity. Let's be honest: 8258 and 42009 were much more interesting on a technical level than 8110, 42030 or 42039

    I used only new parts and all were unscratched. Some where a little yellowish white (like bricks 1 x 2 x 4), others really bright white (like plates 1 x 12)

    I Bricklinked the 10212 quite recently and it was quite an expensive feat. Still cheaper than the current prices for a new set though. Most expensive was the sticker and the 10 white 2 x 2 x 3 convex cone slopes It was still worth it though. The model is amazing (except for color differences of the white parts!)

    Anio also rated 10221 with 1 star, yet I think it is an AMAZING set that looks very impressive. Main argument was that it is only a display model. Duh. :P Thank God reviews are a personage opinion....

    That rumor comes from me. I spoke to the employee. It was a SW set but he also mentioned January. And it was NOT the Slave. When we spoke the first images of the Slave already had emerged online.

    I have the chance to buy both 10188 and 10221 new, being my first SW sets ever. I know 10221 is out of production and 10188 might be out of production soon. Set 10188 I will be able to buy with 20% discount and 10221 for full price. My question is: what are the odds I will be able to resell both sets? I am not planning to directly resell them, but let's say I would like to do so in the future, what is the resell/used marked with UCS SW sets like? I don't want to make any profit out of it, but what are the odds of reselling 10221 for EUR 400 and 10188 for 325 euros? Maybe this topic would fit more in the selling/buying forum, but since you guys are the SW experts, I'd love to hear your opinions... And when we speak about it, what set has your preference?

    hopefully the baseplate of the set will be 48x32. That would be cool and a nice change...

    Well a bar would be very much in line with PR. I cannot imagine a restaurant and a bar consecutively... I hope a film noir kind of detective agency. With an icecream salon or something. Two 16x32 buildings or a 32x48 building would be very nice....
