Lego refuses to post my negative review of this set. I did not only complain about the rediculous price but also about a lot of design aspects. That is censorship! And beside some color changes the Snowspeeder is an EXACT copy of the model released before.

Post your general LEGO Star Wars questions here

I bought 10188 for a pretty decent price (€500) and was having a question: I know there as a first and a second production run. Main difference are some of the minifigs (especially the heads). What are the other differences? Did the first version have numbered bags? And are the instruction books for both versions the same? -

So is it 4WD? -
So if you own no Hoth sets at all like me, is it worth the steep price of €279?

Yes may be caked up moisture and dust. But how to remove? See pic http://i235.photobucket.com/albums/ee236/hellomrzebra/Mobile%20Uploads/image_zpsyvhltmv0.jpeg

Sorry if this question has been asked before, but I could not find a specific topic on cleaning Lego. I disassembled my 10226 Sopwith Camel and was a bit shocked to find the big green plates being pretty dusty. So I removed the dust and then found out there was a whitish/greyish plaque underneath. We have a small house with an open kitchen. So I tried to clean it three times, using laundry detergent and dishwashing detergent and with a paint brush, sponge and toothbrush, but nothing helps. You can see a difference where the plates were exposed to fhe air and where ofher plages were stacked. The plaque can only be seen under a certain angle and light. Is fhere a way to make my plates shiny again or is this a normal deterioration that happens throughout the hears? I also noticed it on my 75059 UCS Sand Crawler.

Since this is quite a big set with some rare parts I was wondering if someone has experience bricklinking it. Problem is: once I start the process I have to finish it. Some problems and possible solutions: - the magnets: can they be replaced by ball joints? -The small lbg barrels (4424) have never been made, not even in the new verson with a hole in the bottom. Any alternatives? - the 3 big hard plastic wheels (2573) are impossible to find for a reasonable price. Any alternatives? - Can the spheres 30208 be replaced by the smooth ones and what base to use in stead of 30342? - What alternative can be used for the trans blue dish 44375a? The b-version of this part was never produced in this color. Any other rare parts or issues I have not mentioned?

Funny: the long 10 or 12L axle in one of the other photos was red, on the pic of the switches it is black (thank god!) And also strange: if this set contains two colors of track pieces (black and dark grey), would it have been that much trouble to also include normal grey axles besides the yellow ones used for the railings. PF seems the type we know, considering the connectors on the battery box are not the WeDo 2.0 type. And I am surprised two LA's can lift such a heavy arm... -

Just wondering: could the stickers mean the Porsche will become available in several colors? -

What is going on with the new Falcon 75105? It has been out of stock for ages at Lego.com and even stores don't have it. Is there an issue with this set? -
Just a quick question: is it worth saving the inner white boxes of some big sets? You could see them as similar to the plastic bags. I keep saving the white boxes, but they cannot be flattened. Is a used set without the white boxes worth considerably less?

Just needed the number to see whether the pdf of the instructions were stored on the Lego website -
People who have the set: can you please give me the long number on the back of the instruction book? It is about 7 digits.
