  1. Hi NICOJASNO Just seen your video, do pneumatic engines produce more torque than the electric ones?
  2. was a must buy for me because i have the old one (8421) if you have the old one you will how interesting a crane like this is to build. also most of the pictures you see dont really do the set justice... it looks far better in real life. maybe if you go out and find one already made in a shop for a display it might help you decide whether its worth its price tag
  3. welcome to the forum, I believe the time you stopped playing with lego as a child to the time you started again is known as the dark years! loads of us have been there. Was Denis bosman that kicked it off again for me
  4. nice, shame it cant crab!
  5. I've figured out the contra rotating blades and got them working, need to work on the shape and seat next.
  6. The only time I had everything in one place was just after I moved house
  7. think I might have ago at this: http://theatlantic.t...rsky-predicts-a ps. I m still unable to post photos direct to here - little help?
  8. +2I find it helpful to check each moving part as I go by winding the gear train by hand. - you can find mistakes quite easy if you do it that way
  9. looks really good to me, the less parts the better for its performance.
  10. wish I had this set, my brother had it when I was a kid
  11. just come across this website and with being in my late 20s toys are something I hardly ever get for Christmas! - apart from lego. http://www.en.boehm-stirling.com/?gclid=CPzLvp-HtrMCFebLtAod9AoArg if anyone knows of any interesting sites such as this please post here
  12. yeah this is my entry, keeping it simple was really difficult, my original one had a canopy over the back and roll cage which made it unstable.
  13. thanks I will have a short video up in a few days, the functions are really good to be fair although the model is a little bit top heavy!
  14. still haven't worked out how to add photos but here's a link to my Unimog : http://theplasticbrick.blogspot.co.uk/ if anyone can help me with the uploading of photos please drop me a msg. Thanks.
  15. try two bat packs and 4 batteries in each and charge across them both
  16. looked at this again today and the detail is just amazing not sure if everyone agrees but this is for sure your nicest model to date
  17. I use two or more motors together quite often, the model in the link below uses 4 xl motors 1 per axle and two medium motors linked in the same way you suggest but for the steering. These are all powered from one receiver. I've also tried 6 medium motors 1 per wheel on a small version of a six wheeled dump truck - this didn't work very well as the motors didn't have enough torque.
  18. wow thats cool forgot to add mine on here http://theplasticbrick.blogspot.co.uk/2012/03/rc-unimog.html
  19. great job
