  1. Hi Surly, I just build and build again the model Im currently trying to build has been taken apart at least six times! this afternoon I gave up again! - think this truck will need to wait until my inspiration comes back. I find having a few projects at the same time can help. I normally start one and put it to one side when I get stuck then I come back to it later, sometimes years later. I currently have 3 models on the go and I might start a forth later I always take pictures of my failed projects to help me in case I want to restart them - this speeds up the process of the next one.
  2. i never got the free toy. Not a happy.
  3. retro robot for me. Had to buy six packs before I found it
  4. pretty expensive then ! might give the helicopter a miss
  5. I would love to see a walker, would be interesting to see how someone with an unlimited supply of parts would go about making such a thing.
  6. after seeing this thread I dug mine out 8288 crane sadly I've lost its box. Really enjoyed building it again. The price on ebay doesn't justify this model - DON'T LET THE SELLER RIP YOU OFF! look for the instructions on line instead.
  7. wow nice truck. I look at your site quite often and thought you had stopped building, really glad you haven't.
  8. very very cool, love the colour to great job.
  9. The machining looks really good, love stainless and aluminum parts although for me if you build in Lego it all should be with Lego parts. If your going to use none Lego parts why stop at just the essential bits you may as well go all out and do away with Lego altogether. The way Lego is at the moment means you have to be very creative when building to add strength. The more specialized Lego parts become the easier things are to build and the less creative you need to be during the build. Great to look at though.
  10. the blocks stop the motors and the turn tables control the direction and speed
  11. That's my car!! thanks for posting it on here just followed the link back from my blog. it works with both types of controllers but not as well with the non speed control type. If anyone does attempt to build it I recommend removing the parts that motorize the doors, boot and spoiler to lighten the car then use a taller gear ratio for the drive to make it faster. thanks again for posting.
