    I saw that in the WIP of Woodward and really liked it. Good to see it get its own view here. Woodward is really shaping up great!

    The Hobbit idea is funny, in that I had a very similar idea that even involved 'Aragorn' at the gates of Mordor causing a distraction! Back to the drawing board Maybe I'll do like the Expendables and just gather a bunch of big name figs from all over Historica to come in and blow everything up

    Awesome spin to the story...for a minute I was thinking that the girl with Lena on the boat was Quinn.....that would be an interesting tale as well

    I agree on the darker floor interior, and also maybe some dusting on the bricks Looks good so far though! And no, posting WIP's is not cheating!

    Word...I would love to be considered anywhere near a DC clone! But, this definitely has its own feel to it and I love it!

    I agree....while GoH has been fun, I do miss the MOC's by the guild leaders as well, and would love to get them more involved in that aspect again. Plus, the building is probably more fun for them!

    While I agree with you about the possibility of that many 'wanted' minifigs and a molded fellbeast, I think the new star wars sets have shown that more of the sought after characters are showing up in cheaper sets. The desert skiff has Boba Fett, Luke and Lando. The new 2013 set that has Yoda with some others for $19.99, etc. With that in mind, there may be hope for some smallers sets with great figs in it. But, then again Star Wars has been out a long time....

    It's a shame that my freebuild will be too big for the mini challenge. I started it a few weeks ago, and should be wrapped up in a couple of days. But, it is on 4 32x32 baseplates.....it does serve as a prelude to CVI. Also, just to bridge the storyline on my character from when he returned to the Citadel of the Moon and what he is doing at the time of this new challenge

    Notable members of The Nahtämatu include: Saladus Al-Juhtiv, Aran-Salath and Moonlord Kha Currently Saladus who has now become the Black Wind (as is custom for the Aridesti Elves when a spouse dies) to avenge his wife Aran-Salath(killed at Starbowl by the Elemental Attack and her body brought to rest at the Citadel of the Moon), and his brother-in-law Moonlord Kha are on a blood mission to seek vengeance on The Hand of Corruption and Victor Revolword. Last known whereabouts were traveling through Nocturnus to find a Hand stronghold.

    I think the entire build looks fantastic so far, but the interior of the great hall is by far the eye catcher! The floor and ceiling really set it off

    Wow, somehow I totally missed this when you first posted it. This is shaping up really nicely. The 1x2 plates look fantastic, and the overall layout with the arches and the water is vintage Valyria. Great job on this one, can't wait to see the finished product

    Definitely...I started a build a couple of weeks ago that I was hoping to incorporate into the CVI. But, I was anticipating no size limit for the final challenge, so it is too big. I'm going to finish it up and use it as a prelude as I start to figure out what I am going to build for the challenge
