I agree with Gabe, I can't wait to see it all put together! This is a great centerpiece to what has been an outstanding series of MOC's so far
-
Great scene here! The Benoic area is really coming to life through your builds, and the DeGothia and Lena story is fantastic in this harsh world
-
Great build Gabe! The mottled wall looks fantastic, and I love that it is continuing an ongoing story that hasn't been ruined by Victor

Thanks for the heads up NM! I just went to Walmart.com, but now the Grand Emporium is out of stock online. I was really wanting the Tower Bridge down to $178, but that is also out of stock now. The over 4,000 pieces in the Tower Bridge for under $200 is too good to pass up, but I may have to with it out of stock! -
Wow, welcome back! This is beautiful....while the mosaic floor looks fantastic, I would have to say that the figures on the front of the temple are my favorite part. Great use of those parts!

Apparently I need to get a job where you guys work! I have recently picked up: 1 Helm's Deep 1 Uruk Hai Army 1 Shelob 1 Gandalf cart 1 Whitecap Bay I really want to grab a few more Uruk Hai Army and at least one Orc Forge....but I think the 4 kids thing makes me broke

Very cool build!

I love this! The figs look great as does the FP build. But, I think that the health benefits of this diet are very informative and would benefit all members of GoH if we could increase trade with this guild.

Great stuff soccerkid! I must say that your builds have grown immensely from when I first hopped in to GoH. You are really emerging as one of the great builders here(and your builds were good to start with). This one has a great feel to it, the mottled stone wall is new for you like you said, and you did a great job with it!
-
Very appealing idea...this competition is so much fun because of all the new possibilities being added in to GoH.
-
Awesome! The build is superb and that alone might earn the win here! The Gold/Copper armor and sword for the samurai....is that official Lego or from somewhere else? I love the look of it and would like to check it out
-
Dragonriders.....ahhh the possibilites! What a great concept, and how much fun that could be to build!
-
Great entry NM! The backstory alone adds quite a dimension to this guild, but the brickbuilt map and the color scheme make this post stand out to me.
-
I love this build...the airship is great, and the floating rock island is exactly what I wanted to do for 5th guild! I'm pulling for this one!
-
Very cool entry for this! I like the idea of the spider tamers, and while each of the Guilds currently has mountains, none are totally mountain bound.
-
Great ideas! The gnomes sound as if they may have distant cousins on Mt. Nevermind??

Thanks Damaximus, Ecc, Soccerkid and dG! I appreciate the thoughts. I am usually pretty private and don't share much personal life, but the great community here led me to think I owed my guildmates and everyone else an explanation if I fall off the face of the earth for a bit. Good call! I will definitely be on here, the building is the most fun, but the stories and seeing everyone else's builds are also an amazing inspiration. -
Wow, you are really pumping out these MOC's! They look great, and the continuity between each of them is really great.

Hey guys, sorry to dampen the mood in here but I may be taking a major backseat for a while in here. Earlier this week, I had to bring my wife in to the ER. She woke me at 2am because she could not move or feel her right side at all. It was not a stroke, so that was great news, and she has regained sensation in that side. However, her limbs and face on the right side are having uncontrollable muscle spasms nearly every couple of minutes. We still have no idea what it is, and the doctors are running just about every test they can think of. So far, it could be anything from a spinal cord injury(she is recovering from a herniated disc), to a neurological disorder. I will continue to be online, as this is one of my few outlets from reality, but building will probably be down as I am trying to run the house, work and help her with even brushing her teeth. -
Good stuff! I've really enjoyed following the growth of this gatehouse.

Looks fantastic to me! The Asian influence is very evident, and that could be a great introduction to GoH -
Not to repeat what everyone else said, but wow! In your second post where you showed the pic of Bilbo, I can't help but notice that lovely chair out front...that is truly a great piece!

Any links to MOCs of spooky gothic style cemetaries?
Kayne replied to Rhapsodyred99's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
This isn't a cemetary, but Derfel Cadarn built a wonderful castle similar to that style if I am reading you right> Sanctuary of the Damned Check it out and let me know what you think -
Unfortunately it seems that jocks are immune to charm

Well, what I can see is looking pretty good. If possible could you add a shot from back a little way so we can get a better feel of the overall composition of the build? The rockwork is looking pretty good and there is plenty of color to the build. I would change out the brick or plate that is under the blue slope in the river where it dips. You can see the yellow underneath there.
