  1. Another great build as we have come to expect from you! And the way you have been playing with lighting lately is very daring. I do think this one is a bit too dark, but only because we cannot see the details as well as I think they would pop with just a touch more light.
  2. Not sure what I can say here.....this is great, from construction to colors to editing, etc....nice job!
  3. The best part is the story-telling. You drew me in, and I wish it was longer. I do like the build as well, so don't take that the wrong way
  4. Good stuff Vladdy! I'm really liking the Avalonian version of you...minus the tights
  5. I'd give you +1 but I was beat to it by 4 others Anyway, very cool build. Great forced perspective here
  6. Good stuff! This challenge really brought out some great ideas from people, and this is definitely one of those great ideas!
  7. This is marvelous....for such a small footprint, there is a ton packed into here. I also love the ostriches, but the rocks are superb +1 UoP
  8. I think it turned out great! Glad to see it make the deadline.
  9. +1 to all of the credits. Great build Gabe, you need some sort of a new title like "Grand Admiral of Kaliphlin" or something along those lines!
  10. Great build infernum! You have become just an amazing builder....really love to see your stuff
  11. Very nice build mrcp6d! I definitely support +1 UoP to all 3 claims
  12. This may be the best elven home I have ever seen in Lego. That tree on the left that holds up one of the structures is great. it's rounded very well and the dark brown adds great contrast to the build
  13. Beautiful! BTW, I really like the new Massa(even though he's not in this one)
  14. Great build ISC! Glad to have you back in GoH!
  15. Hope everyone had a great time! I really need to make Brickworld a priority next summer.
  16. This is great dG! I love the layout and builds of these buildings. And a fun and great story to boot! Defending the coast http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=96677 There's my link if you needed it to mix into the group
  17. Nice build, although I must say it's weird to see you build with light and green and elves and nature.....where's the skulls and fire and darkness
  18. Very cool, I love the natural background you used
  19. Here is my Category C entry for deGothia's side http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=96677
  20. I'd like to claim some UoP credits for my Challenge 2 build http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=96677 -Life in Avalonia -Still Water -Studs up Rocks and Cliffs -Flowers and Dense Foliage Thanks!
  21. Nice build Wedge! At first I thought I would like to see the rocks and then the man-made fortress portion in different shades of gray, but the more I think on it, I think I like that it flows as if they truly were built right out of the mountain
  22. Very cool build here Kai! As I said earlier, that dragon/wyvern looks great there. +1 on all UoP claims
  23. Thank you! I had to order more trans blue tiles than what I had. I had 500 trans-dark blue tiles 1x2, and I ordered 110 more trans-light blue tiles 1x2 to complete this build. Now, I have to keep building water to justify their purchase Thanks Kai! Thanks Z! I was going to add a few pics of how I put together the arch, since I have been asked a bit. Would it be OK to put in this thread, but not in the main body and not have it be considered part of the entry since we can only enter 5 pics? Thanks! I was actually worried on how it would turn out, but the coloring in the water worked as I had hoped it would Thanks guys Yeah, it's supposed to have been from an earlier time in Avalonia's history, with a new village sprung up since then in it's place. Yes, it is two monorail pieces hooked together with 2x6 plates creating the depth. Then I used a whole bunch of these http://www.bricklink...tem.asp?P=60470 and these http://www.bricklink...tem.asp?P=48336 hooked together to 'curve' the surface of the top and bottom of the arch to fit in the monorail pieces. And, it is all held to the rock via some technic connections hidden by the rocks and foliage. Also, I'd like to claim some UoP credits for my Challenge 2 build -Life in Avalonia -Still Water -Studs up Rocks and Cliffs -Flowers and Dense Foliage Thanks!
  24. This is great! Kaliphlin is really shining this week!
